I just bought the MVST Carry on and Medium checked. I wanted July truck but no sales were happening for them. But I want the large truck checked.
Ooh, I am liking that camera bag! Also like both the backpack that expands and the one with the zip up water bottle pocket.
@lisagraves5813 July's sale is free personalization.
I’ve been waiting to see this video; thank you! I really wanted to get a July luggage but ended up getting a Monos instead which is still good. But oh man those July luggages and accessories are beautiful 😍 I may have to settle with getting a July accessory at least 😅😊
In LOVE w largest to check, JULY. Will you get promo's w JULY ????? Does Memorial Day, USA , have sales ? maybe on sale ? Ready to buy.🙂 (I'm confused, which one is largest TRUNK , L's, to check ? Tks. Great video. Whats liter size of July backpack ? is it slash-proof?
I use the Hybrid Carry-On from Monos, but my checked luggage is July all the way! The Checked Plus is amazing and with it's 110L capacity I have a ton of room for everything I need for long trips plus extra room for whatever I end up buying.
If I ever needed a checked bag, it would 100% be july!
Thanks for the store review! And your comment about your friend using the light carry on and liking it. It’s between that and the regular carry-on, for me. Aaaaand maybe check out those bags, since they look super cute 😂.
She just brought me her bag to do a review video. I’ll show it and compare! I have some thoughts!
Fun! Thanks for sharing! The Carry On Light is tempting for me. Super light for a rolling suitcase. 🌺✈️ Heidi
Yes!! And my friend used it on that trip and loved it
Was your friends the expandable? Did you like the one that expands?
You should do a video on which luggage is the the best affordable, organization, international, splurge, soft and hard, etc.
Wish we had a July store in Adelaide!
One I’m a pink gir BUT that red trunk 😮. And my birthday is in July I mean I have to definitely adding to my list
Yesssss and then let me borrow it ❤️❤️❤️ haha
Thanks for another great review. I wish July would come out with a bigger colour range - pink like those water bottles would be amazing. It would also be good to see them add some of the anti theft features to the totes and backpacks.
I’m sure they will have a pink soon enough! And what kind of anti theft are you looking for? They have some hidden pockets which are nice.
So far my favourite tote (after lots of research) is from Arden Cove. It’s expensive but it has so many anti theft features (locking zippers, anti slash, RFID) and it’s convertible between handles, cross body and backpack. Plus it has an inbuilt wallet and numerous pockets. I would love to see a similar Australian product.
@@Susanneshares ah, understandable. I don’t worry about that stuff with my bags honestly.
I hope you have a comparison of the checked trunk and checked plus expandable 😊
I don’t, this is a carry on only channel :)
I can’t wait to see your review on the tote. I really want to see how it compares to the base bad especially this zipper and if the cup holder placement you think is an issue in the bag so I get it. It’s in the way of packing up because it’s not on the end.!
I honestly love it! It’s all positive. I’m just waiting to review it because my friend got the small size and I want to borrow it to show both sizes.
@@ItsTheKellys oh Yassss and please make sure the sizes are listed! I know uoi will.
@@catiejohnson7910 you got it!
Hi! I just returned from a Paris trip, used a lot of your tips and will def use packing cubes from now on for organization. I did check a bag (have a disability, walk with a cane so checked clothes), and carried my Beis weekender as a carry-on. I’m now eyeing a new check-in bag as well as a carry on wheeled bag for domestic trips. If you could pick one carry-on would it be July? The Beis is a bit too large and I saw with my daughter firsthand how strict Lufthansa was for her Paris-Frankfurt leg, about size and weigh of carry-on bags. TIA!
Hi Diana! I’m glad you had a great time in one of my favorite cities in the world! If I had to pick a checked bag, it would be July. It is so indestructible, that it is the obvious choice. They have 2 sizes: the medium and the large!
Thanks for taking us through the store! Do you recall how rigid the sidewalls on the checked trunk were? For example, if you pushed down on the middle of the lid/top, would it maintain its shape (and potentially protect something from being broken on the inside)? Or, is it on the other end of the spectrum where it feels like there’s little to no rigidity (strength?) and it just completely gives in, and then ridiculously bounces you out? I’m hoping it’s the former (rigid) and not the latter. Thanks again - please keep up the great work! Amazingly great in your other video how the carry-on (?) didn’t scratch on the cobblestones!
I didn’t get to “test” any at the store, I was trying to be really gentle. I can tell you that it felt strong. I’ve felt some bigger pieces of luggage (other brands) that feel almost flexible and it didn’t feel like that.
@@ItsTheKellys That’s great-thank you so much & thanks for the quick reply!
Great video! I’ve been stuck between Monos, level 8, travelpro, and July. I like the accessories from this company. What size of tote did you buy?
I got the large!
Wow the Trunk is so sexy! I am in Sydney later this year and will def check out the store! And will probably buy, as it's much cheaper there than in the UK!
I’ve been dying to get one!
I have recently had to admit to myself that I travel with a laptop more than I would like, so I want the carry on pro. But would you say if I take the laptop sleeve off, it would be okay checked with those notch’s exposed?
To be honest, I'm not sure. I don't own it in person yet. I travel with a laptop 100% of the time (and I'm on it currently in Tahiti lol) and I never fly with pro bags. I always have my normal carry on, and put the laptop in my personal item.
I review pro bags because people like them, but I would personally never buy one.
I need to buy a new carry-on/ checked bag set, and was considering July. I want something durable but with a lifetime warranty. My concern though is that I saw that the owner’s previous furnitire company (Brosa) went bankrupt and had millions of dollars in sold product that never made it to customers…
So what good would a lifetime warranty be if this company goes under as well?
Anyway, I’ll keep looking at some of the other brands.
Hmm, that’s interesting. I’m not sure. I have full faith in July, but i don’t know about that history.
I would consider Monos, perhaps. I find their luggage pretty durable as well. I have three of their pieces of luggage now.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks to you, I’m the proud owner of a July carryon and could not be more excited to use it! Question - I’m looking for a personal item for international use (our first will be Air France) and I’m having a hard time finding just the bag. I’m thinking perhaps the July small Everyday tote, but then I worry it’s not big enough. Gah! Have you had the opportunity to use your July totes yet, Lauren? Thanks for any thoughts you have (I’ve also been looking at other companies and ideally would love a tote/duffel small enough yet also one you are an affiliate for.
How exciting!! I typically only use backpacks for a personal item, and try to keep them small for airline requirements. As much as I love totes, if my bag ever got checked, it would be annoying to hold by itself.
I did use the July tote after this trip in this video. It’s pretty big for a personal item, but I didn’t have a choice, flying home with it. Take a look at the personal item playlist maybe. Any backpack would be a good one. I’m working on some budget backpack reviews too, very soon.
@@ItsTheKellys Lauren, thank you so much for your time and energy with my question. Trying to find luggage for our family has been overwhelming, but you have made it so much less painful (and dare I say, fun!). You made some great points - think I will rewatch all your reviews on backpacks and go from there. One of my kiddos is a Type 1 Diabetic and has a LOT of medical gear to take with us, so finding lightweight gear will be key. Hmmm...perhaps she needs a July Carryon Light, too. You are wonderful - I appreciate you!
Will the trunk work internationally? I guess being sold in Australia, but for Europe?
The carry on trunk? Yes! It’s even smaller than my regular July carry on.
I'm trying to decide between the normal carry on and the light expandable 😂
My light expandable video comes out next Saturday for the full review! Do you fly a lot where they weigh your bags? I have a ton of budget international airlines next year that have a 15 lb max and I’ll be getting one!
@@viviloana the normal carry on would be fine. My friend and I traveled to Australia with the regular and the light expandable and brought the same amount of stuff, it’s not too terribly different. Just no compression inside, battery, or bumpers!
@It's The Kellys so the normal was fine as a carry-on for most airlines? What airlines are strict on weight?
I was originally looking at beis but their bags are too big. I've already had to check a carry-on in Scotland for like $60 dollara....so I want to avoid that.
Thank you again!
A lot of airlines in europe and Asia weigh bags. It’s common in a lot of the world, just not the US. Beis is way too big. The regular carry on is fine, but it depends on where you are going with it.
I have flights coming up to Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Japan, etc. That have a weight restriction.
I think the tote would look better in Nylon and if it had a zipper. Please let me know your thoughts. Enjoy Australia..
Maybe. I was drawn to the canvas look for the tote!
Love you sweetheart
This just wants me to buy more things I do t need, but want. Lol
