DIY toothpaste tabs- Squeeze out dabs of your own toothpaste(I use Sensodyne for sensitive gums/teeth) onto parchment paper. Air dry. If you live in a humid area, you can dehydrate at lowest oven setting- watch constantly until done. Another option is tooth powder. I love “Super Comfort Rescue Powder”- great for sensitivity. Decanted into a smaller container.
Instead of bringing the whole container of micellar water, I put cotton rounds in a Ziploc baggie and just squirt the micellar water into the baggie until the cotton rounds are sufficiently soaked. I also bring dish soap in a similar way on cut up pieces of a dry sponge. This way I can clean my yeti thermos
@@alexandraaikonika didn’t really think that needed to be said but yes, please use a new Ziploc bag and clean cotton rounds 😅 to be fair, I do reuse Ziploc bags a lot of times, but I will wash and dry them before I reuse them. But for something like this, you want brand new true namebrand Ziploc otherwise you’re more likely to have the bag leak or the rounds will dry out.
It might be a bit hillbilly, but I take balloons from the dollar tree, cut the end off, and put that on my liquid bottles instead of the toiletry skins.
I have long hair (past butt). Hotels either have excellent S&C, or provide a soap bar and hand lotion of less than dollar store quality. I pack cut down bars of S &C.
Easy tip - you can put a lot of products in contact lens cases. I’ve done foundation and lotion and they last over a week (I don’t use a ton of product). These are tiny and you could label for ease of use.
I was going to say contacts lens cases too! This is my go to now for moisturizers/face sunscreens since I have high quality ones where a little goes a long way. It’s great!
My tips: bring a couple big Command stick-on hooks for bathrooms that never seem to have enough hooks or towel racks. Removeable with no damage when you leave. Also I always pack a few pieces of blue painter's tape stuck to wax paper; use it to tape curtains shut if the sun comes thru in the morning, put a bit of tape over the peephole in your hotel door so nobody can see in, or on annoying red lights from electronics in the room. ❤
Omg…this is so funny because I was going to bring a carryon and bring my liquids in a …gallon…size bag….and I was bragging to my son how big the gallon size bag is for my liquids to put in my carryon….my son says..ma…ya have to use a quart size bag…..omg! That was sooo embarrassing….good thing I said something to him😊He travels very frequently….ps your channel is always full of good advice!❤
I love Olay Daily Facials and use them always for packing and travel. I also cut each one in half as they are quite large so I get double the pads and save half the money. One half is plenty for a face wash...😀
Recently discovered these and cut them in half also. Best travel hack in travelling with less liquids. Travel in sealed container to keep moisture out, or risk having them stick together say in humid climate conditions.

20-25 years ago, I was on the road 75% of the time. I haven't flown now in 5 years so it's great to get an update on new things that are available. I'm rethinking how I pack since I was used to checking all my luggage and there were few restrictions pre 9/11.
I travel a lot and consider myself an excellent packer. However, I learned a ton demo this video. I’ve got most of the products on my Amazon wish list. Thank you.
My hack is to buy a full size shampoo and a travel size toothpaste when I arrive at a local store or pharmacy. $4 for a bottle of shampoo is not going to break the bank and we use it as shampoo/shower gel for the family of 4. My daughter has very long thick hair so she requires more than one toiletry sized shampoo
I’m glad you’ve not had any struggles with some items not being considered liquid, but I totally have. It’s best to avoid it if you don’t wanna lose your items at the TSA line. If it melts, it is not allowed.
Hotel room bathrooms in some cities are crazy tiny, with little/no counter space, so a hanging toiletry bag is great. At the other extreme, they're also great for places like campsite bathrooms where you wouldn't want to use any "counter space" that's there.
I know! I’m flying to Arizona in September! The furthest flight I’ve ever been on was before 9/11! The other flights have been just 1 hour/20 min.s. Still, it’s been a long time. I’m so stressed about it. I’m on more medication and I’m going to have to bring lots of lotion and sunscreen. Not staying for long but I’m used to humidity! Not sure what to expect or what to pack to make sure I’m comfortable! Staying hydrated and a 4 hour flight , I know I’ll have to pee and I dread using the airline toilet. I know I’m going to have a drink or two as well!! My sister is also coming with me, she doesn’t pack well at all! I know I’m going to have to help her too. She’s not going to watch any or these! 🤦🏻♀️
Don't fly. It is miserable now (I'm tall and I've had flights where my knees rubbed against the seat back in front of me for hours.). As I've gotten older I get sick by about the 4th day on every trip. After coming home sick from my last 3 international flights, I've decided to stay home.
I’ve been basically using a liquid pouch (Platypus brand) as my travel water bottle for years. I love it for the same convenience…smaller ones make so much sense!!! Thank you!
The problem with toothpaste tabs is that the manufacturers completely ignore those of us with sensitive teeth. I'd love to try them out for travel, but I've yet to find a brand that has a sensitive tooth option.
Have you tried the tabs fron lush? I found those are really good for my sensitive teeth, and they're really faomy, so I was able to cut them in half to extend their use and still get that clean feeling.
Didn’t think I would learn anything new but def going to try a couple of your item recos. BTW, Olay just came out with ‘melts’ face wash (awful name) - no disposable wash cloth, it melts in your hands with water and super tiny.
MOUSSE- I have to have my mousse! Spray mousse into a Tupperware or cereal bowl. Stir once in a while to remove air. In a day or two, it will be a liquid or gel. Put into a travel bottle. I never use flip tops bec I had one open while flying.
I gave up toiletry bags years ago, and now split toiletries between two smaller bags, either heavy ziploc bags, or very tiny packing cubes. Takes up way less room: than one big bag, and you can fit them into smaller spaces in your bag. I found that shampoo bars would not lather in Italy!…gave those up too! I love the Olay Daily Facials, used them for a few trips. Solid sunscreen is wonderful!
@shelaghjackson We just got back from Italy & I used a shampoo bar & it lathered up for me 🤔. The nice thing about Italy is that you can find some really nice toiletries at the farmacia 😊
Will be buying several things from your great video. We FedEx all clothes and toiletries ahead of time to our destination that way I just have a purse to deal with.

Love Rocky Mountain Soap bars. For deodorant I use Routine deodorant, it's a cream. They sell travel size mini pots. I got two and just refill as needed before travel. Each sample lasts me a week. Barely takes space in my toiletry bag. It's a natural product, night not be for for everyone.
great tips! I got a completely clear toiletry bag off amazon sometime in the last couple years and have had zero issues. I put everything in it, take it out through security and they've never flagged it so it's quick and easy putting it back in my bag. jack 59- for fellow canadians, now sells travel size shampoo/conditioner bars, otherwise for longer trips or those with longer hair, full size works and I've gotten containers at lush for them.
You can pre-moisten cotton pads/balls with the micellar water-that won’t be considered liquid too. If you need more for the eyes perhaps you can decant into a smaller size bottle/ container.
I collect all those sample for shampoo/conditioner (or ask my hairdresser for samples), lotion, some makeup, face cleansers, sunblock,baby wipes, lenses cleaner, hand sanitizer. This way when I travel home I won’t have liquids really. Spongellé can be packed in my carry on as it’s body soap inside a sponge that’s slow release. I love that luggage I have the similar. I put all my medications and essential oils into another bag separately from my liquid bag that way I can fit more if need be. If I’m taking a check bag.

I should have listed to you before I ordered my travel kit today😩😩. For next time I will know about the pouches. One thing I did learn although was discount stores like Marshall’s are so much more expensive than Amazon. Your ideas are great for a family. For my son and I on vacation I manage to fit everything into the TSA approved liquid bag.
I just came back from spending 3 wks in Italy. We only got asked twice to show our liquids & we flew several times during our vacation within Italy. I purchased some little plastic lidded containers (used for crafting beads) from dollar tree & put my creams & lotions. I bought shampoo & conditioner bars& toothpowder. I used a bottle from my eye glass cleaner that was empty & put my hair styling spray in that. The only thing I ran short of was body lotion so I just bought some at the pharmacia. For makeup removal I took a few makeup remover towels that I could wash clean & took a travel size face wash. I just kept all my liquids in a ziploc bag . Forgot to add I used a toothpowder for brushing teeth also.
Thank you for telling me about the wettable facial wipes, the texture looks good too. (Though, I have found that I can dampen dried-out makeup wipes in a pinch.)
Important thing: use different sizes of bottles - you don't need 100ml of most of your products for duration of the trip! I have 20ml, 25ml and 50 ml in all shapes (some are tall and slick, some short but wide) - that way you can have much more ways to organize them so they will fit that ziplock perfectly ;) I am traveling few times a year and now I know which toiletries products I have to take and which ones I can switch or not take at all. If you are traveling for more then a week and not alone buying shower gel and sunscreen on location is great option - those are products that you can easily use during one trip and are easy to buy. I also have bought shampoo or conditioner before, knowing that I could leave them behind in some common bathroom in hostel (buying them just to throw away almost full bottle is too much waste though).
Excellent advice. The toothpaste tables are THE BEST. I purchase mine from Amazon. They effectively cleanse your mouth and totally eliminate having to take a paste product.
Its not just toiletries that people overpack, its also clothes. Just take the basic minimum, you can rotate clothes so that you get more wear out of them. Most toiletries you can buy abroad cheaper than at home and take advantage of the toiletries provided by hotels etc.
With the pre-moistened facial wipes, I store them in their original pouch inside a ziploc sandwich bag. Keeps them from drying out but doesn't work forever.
These tips are great, but there are really great facial cleansing bars too! I have sensitive skin and to me, they work better than most liquid cleansers.
Went the solid route a couple years ago, so I'm all set with the tooth tablets, bar of soap/shampoo (stored in Matador soap pouch), crystal deodorant... my toiletry bag is about the size of that last one you showed (I don't wear makeup, etc). But those dry cleaning wipes were a great idea! I'm always looking for tweaks to improve my packing.
Only downside to the liquid travel pouches is they need to have the max capacity marked on the container in some picky TSA areas. I recommend subtl for some types of makeup that some travelers use. I also add liquid food like applesauce(under 3oz) in that bag as I have tons of food allergies and get sensitive to air sickness sometimes to help my stomach. When my child was toddler sized, I used a gallon bag for all her snacks as well since some airports were more picky than others (we flew around different US/Japan airports)
Hi! Thanks so much for your video! I didn’t know that sun screen came in sticks! Going to check that for sure as I hate being all goopy from the liquid type. We have been bringing our “soap nubs” for years. Once a bar of soap hits the right size from use, we store them to take with us. No worries about allergic reactions! We have travelled with carry on bags for years and pack as little as possible and as small as possible. For our next trip, there is a pharmacy across the street from our hotel so anything we may need will be close by. New subbie today!
I use all natural shampoo bar so travel with that & use it for my soap as well. I also pack a small amount of baking soda for toothpaste. Makeup is always power based & minimal as Europeans are pretty casual.

I'd like to see a video about our Canada TSA and liquids. I checked my airlines very carefully measured out the liquids, had them well marked, measured and in the baggie and sure enough, TSA made me get rid of a couple of things. That was at YOW (Ottawa). My best friend just flew to Malaga and she flew out of YUL (Montreal - Dorval) and they made her do the same. It's really important for Canadians to know that it's up to TSA, not the airlines... and our common house-hold baggies do not cut the muster and will be rejected!

Shampoo can also be used as face wash and body wash. I use dandruff shampoo in a solid bar stored in a Matador bag. I don’t bring body or face wash, I use what the hotel provides. I use this also to hand wash merino panties and socks that dry overnight. You can also use it to clean your reusable bottle if needed. Regular solid deodorant is never considered a liquid, so no need for expensive crystal deodorants that can be irritating. I use a solid conditioner bar, they last a long time. The only liquid I have is toothpaste (tried the tabs, didn’t like), a hand cream used for face, hands, and body; hairspray, lip paint, and honey for tea. I also bring contact solution but it doesn’t count in my liquids.
I too, love the Olay facial cloths. In addition, I always pack makeup remover cloths (from the travel section at Target) and eye makeup remover pads from Almay that I put in a ziplock bag. Makeup is always an easy one, stick foundation and stick concealer along with mineral powder foundation. I always keep skincare as basic as possible but I splurge on my hair products. Bar of soap is always a must and if you bring Doves beauty bar, that doubles as a face wash as well. I definitely need to try the toothpaste tablets.
Great ideas, but unless you are going just overnight, I have more clothes than will go in carry- on for a week.. Liquid stuff goes in gallon ziplocks so nothing leaks in my real suitcase. If I have to have only a carry on...most travel sized stuff is refillable...I keep it for that ....travel. Only stuff I need on the plane goes into the quart...that is eye stuff, liquid meds, epipens, inhaler (that's a families worth).
I wish I remembered the specifics, but once at Heathrow Airport, a smaller security section handed out liquids bags MUCH smaller than our quart bags. What a scene, I think every woman panicked! What didn’t fit had to be tossed. Since then I don’t dare fill, let alone stuff my quart liquids bag!
Last year I picked up some of those lotion pouches--I had a lot of trouble getting the product out so they're a no-go for me. I do like the small airless pumps though.
I bought those lotion pouches for our last trip to Spain, which was for almost a month and loved how little space they took in my toiletrie bag and by the end of the trip they had almost nothing left in them, so I just emptied out the little leftover, rinsed the bags and put them in my carry on bag and that was just one less thing in my toiletrie bag. I love that they came in 3 different sizes and had labels for them, total game changer since we only travel with a carry on.
Before I bought the pouches, I read the reviews, and lots of people were recommending to inflate the pouch before filling, so I had no problem filling them with products.

Heads up, only clear bags work at Heathrow (London). They are sticklers of one clear bag per person. Just flew out of there last week.

I’m glad you’ve not had any struggles with some items not being considered liquid, but I totally have. It’s best to avoid it if you don’t wanna lose your items at the TSA line. If it melts, it is not allowed.
I went through Ryan air to Edinburgh and was told my stick deodorant was a liquid, and to include it in the clear bag.🤷♀️
I love clear makeup bags, can see it all and don’t have to dump it out in hotel rooms etc. toothpaste tablet, so cool!
Hotel room bathrooms in some cities are crazy tiny, with little/no counter space, so a hanging toiletry bag is great. At the other extreme, they're also great for places like campsite bathrooms where you wouldn't want to use any "counter space" that's there.
I LOVE the liquids pouches, and use them often when traveling. It’s great that they “shrink” with usage, taking less room.

I know! I’m flying to Arizona in September! The furthest flight I’ve ever been on was before 9/11! The other flights have been just 1 hour/20 min.s. Still, it’s been a long time. I’m so stressed about it. I’m on more medication and I’m going to have to bring lots of lotion and sunscreen. Not staying for long but I’m used to humidity! Not sure what to expect or what to pack to make sure I’m comfortable! Staying hydrated and a 4 hour flight , I know I’ll have to pee and I dread using the airline toilet. I know I’m going to have a drink or two as well!! My sister is also coming with me, she doesn’t pack well at all! I know I’m going to have to help her too. She’s not going to watch any or these! 🤦🏻♀️
Don't fly. It is miserable now (I'm tall and I've had flights where my knees rubbed against the seat back in front of me for hours.). As I've gotten older I get sick by about the 4th day on every trip. After coming home sick from my last 3 international flights, I've decided to stay home.
I’ve been basically using a liquid pouch (Platypus brand) as my travel water bottle for years. I love it for the same convenience…smaller ones make so much sense!!! Thank you!
That first toiletry bag is genius.
The problem with toothpaste tabs is that the manufacturers completely ignore those of us with sensitive teeth. I'd love to try them out for travel, but I've yet to find a brand that has a sensitive tooth option.
Have you tried the tabs fron lush? I found those are really good for my sensitive teeth, and they're really faomy, so I was able to cut them in half to extend their use and still get that clean feeling.
Have you tried Eco dent tooth powder? (They have a low abrasion formula & their bottle is already travel friendly & lasts for months.)

I think Nelson's Naturals does one for sensitive teeth.

Didn’t think I would learn anything new but def going to try a couple of your item recos. BTW, Olay just came out with ‘melts’ face wash (awful name) - no disposable wash cloth, it melts in your hands with water and super tiny.
2:40 That's what my hubby said last time we travel, but we didn't had any shampoo or bodywash in our hotel room!
MOUSSE- I have to have my mousse! Spray mousse into a Tupperware or cereal bowl. Stir once in a while to remove air. In a day or two, it will be a liquid or gel. Put into a travel bottle. I never use flip tops bec I had one open while flying.
I gave up toiletry bags years ago, and now split toiletries between two smaller bags, either heavy ziploc bags, or very tiny packing cubes.
Takes up way less room: than one big bag, and you can fit them into smaller spaces in your bag.
I found that shampoo bars would not lather in Italy!…gave those up too!
I love the Olay Daily Facials, used them for a few trips.
Solid sunscreen is wonderful!

For deodorant I use Routine deodorant, it's a cream. They sell travel size mini pots. I got two and just refill as needed before travel. Each sample lasts me a week. Barely takes space in my toiletry bag. It's a natural product, night not be for for everyone.
Toiletry skins are genius. I tape the top of my small bottles, and bring some tape with me, but those are even better.

great tips! I got a completely clear toiletry bag off amazon sometime in the last couple years and have had zero issues. I put everything in it, take it out through security and they've never flagged it so it's quick and easy putting it back in my bag. jack 59- for fellow canadians, now sells travel size shampoo/conditioner bars, otherwise for longer trips or those with longer hair, full size works and I've gotten containers at lush for them.
Use a bar of soap at home... Save it for travel when it gets down to a mini size...
You can pre-moisten cotton pads/balls with the micellar water-that won’t be considered liquid too. If you need more for the eyes perhaps you can decant into a smaller size bottle/ container.
To be honest I don't know why I haven't tried that yet!
I do this for my micellar water as well as my toner. I pack them in these small 2x3 plastic ziplock pouches.
The bug stick and toothpaste cubes WOW! Lotion sticks? Amazing!!!!

I collect all those sample for shampoo/conditioner (or ask my hairdresser for samples), lotion, some makeup, face cleansers, sunblock,baby wipes, lenses cleaner, hand sanitizer. This way when I travel home I won’t have liquids really. Spongellé can be packed in my carry on as it’s body soap inside a sponge that’s slow release. I love that luggage I have the similar. I put all my medications and essential oils into another bag separately from my liquid bag that way I can fit more if need be. If I’m taking a check bag.

I should have listed to you before I ordered my travel kit today😩😩. For next time I will know about the pouches. One thing I did learn although was discount stores like Marshall’s are so much more expensive than Amazon. Your ideas are great for a family. For my son and I on vacation I manage to fit everything into the TSA approved liquid bag.

I just came back from spending 3 wks in Italy. We only got asked twice to show our liquids & we flew several times during our vacation within Italy. I purchased some little plastic lidded containers (used for crafting beads) from dollar tree & put my creams & lotions. I bought shampoo & conditioner bars& toothpowder. I used a bottle from my eye glass cleaner that was empty & put my hair styling spray in that. The only thing I ran short of was body lotion so I just bought some at the pharmacia. For makeup removal I took a few makeup remover towels that I could wash clean & took a travel size face wash. I just kept all my liquids in a ziploc bag . Forgot to add I used a toothpowder for brushing teeth also.
Thank you for telling me about the wettable facial wipes, the texture looks good too. (Though, I have found that I can dampen dried-out makeup wipes in a pinch.)
Important thing: use different sizes of bottles - you don't need 100ml of most of your products for duration of the trip! I have 20ml, 25ml and 50 ml in all shapes (some are tall and slick, some short but wide) - that way you can have much more ways to organize them so they will fit that ziplock perfectly ;)
I am traveling few times a year and now I know which toiletries products I have to take and which ones I can switch or not take at all. If you are traveling for more then a week and not alone buying shower gel and sunscreen on location is great option - those are products that you can easily use during one trip and are easy to buy. I also have bought shampoo or conditioner before, knowing that I could leave them behind in some common bathroom in hostel (buying them just to throw away almost full bottle is too much waste though).
Most of us have sample sachets of face creams etc. Take them on your trip and carry less aa you go, or buy nice things that take up the same space.

Soap cutting tip, use a wire cheese slicer to avoid crumbles and since it is soap, it cleans up nicely for back to slicing that cheese!
Excellent advice. The toothpaste tables are THE BEST. I purchase mine from Amazon. They effectively cleanse your mouth and totally eliminate having to take a paste product.
Its not just toiletries that people overpack, its also clothes. Just take the basic minimum, you can rotate clothes so that you get more wear out of them. Most toiletries you can buy abroad cheaper than at home and take advantage of the toiletries provided by hotels etc.
I know but in hostel dorm life nit alwats possibke to dry clothes overnight. Plus in winter need extra thick stuff.. will try though.
I have crazy sensitive skin. For my face I use DHC washing powder. It's great. I bring a konjac sponge and it dries overnight.
With the pre-moistened facial wipes, I store them in their original pouch inside a ziploc sandwich bag. Keeps them from drying out but doesn't work forever.
You can add water to remoisten them.
I just use up the pack once I get home and start fresh next time I travel.

These tips are great, but there are really great facial cleansing bars too! I have sensitive skin and to me, they work better than most liquid cleansers.

Went the solid route a couple years ago, so I'm all set with the tooth tablets, bar of soap/shampoo (stored in Matador soap pouch), crystal deodorant... my toiletry bag is about the size of that last one you showed (I don't wear makeup, etc). But those dry cleaning wipes were a great idea! I'm always looking for tweaks to improve my packing.
Only downside to the liquid travel pouches is they need to have the max capacity marked on the container in some picky TSA areas. I recommend subtl for some types of makeup that some travelers use. I also add liquid food like applesauce(under 3oz) in that bag as I have tons of food allergies and get sensitive to air sickness sometimes to help my stomach. When my child was toddler sized, I used a gallon bag for all her snacks as well since some airports were more picky than others (we flew around different US/Japan airports)
Hi! Thanks so much for your video! I didn’t know that sun screen came in sticks! Going to check that for sure as I hate being all goopy from the liquid type. We have been bringing our “soap nubs” for years. Once a bar of soap hits the right size from use, we store them to take with us. No worries about allergic reactions! We have travelled with carry on bags for years and pack as little as possible and as small as possible. For our next trip, there is a pharmacy across the street from our hotel so anything we may need will be close by. New subbie today!

I use all natural shampoo bar so travel with that & use it for my soap as well. I also pack a small amount of baking soda for toothpaste. Makeup is always power based & minimal as Europeans are pretty casual.

I am the proud owner of a 3D printer and am finding many designs for travelling such as QTip holders and mini trays to elevate my Lush solid shampoos in the Lush tins.
I'd like to see a video about our Canada TSA and liquids. I checked my airlines very carefully measured out the liquids, had them well marked, measured and in the baggie and sure enough, TSA made me get rid of a couple of things. That was at YOW (Ottawa). My best friend just flew to Malaga and she flew out of YUL (Montreal - Dorval) and they made her do the same. It's really important for Canadians to know that it's up to TSA, not the airlines... and our common house-hold baggies do not cut the muster and will be rejected!
I cut the Olay facial cloths in either 1/2 or 1/4. I found they were too big so 1/4 is perfect and less wasteful.

OMG those liquid pouches!
Shampoo can also be used as face wash and body wash. I use dandruff shampoo in a solid bar stored in a Matador bag. I don’t bring body or face wash, I use what the hotel provides. I use this also to hand wash merino panties and socks that dry overnight. You can also use it to clean your reusable bottle if needed. Regular solid deodorant is never considered a liquid, so no need for expensive crystal deodorants that can be irritating. I use a solid conditioner bar, they last a long time. The only liquid I have is toothpaste (tried the tabs, didn’t like), a hand cream used for face, hands, and body; hairspray, lip paint, and honey for tea. I also bring contact solution but it doesn’t count in my liquids.
When my makeup wipes dry out, I just wet them again and they work fine

I too, love the Olay facial cloths. In addition, I always pack makeup remover cloths (from the travel section at Target) and eye makeup remover pads from Almay that I put in a ziplock bag. Makeup is always an easy one, stick foundation and stick concealer along with mineral powder foundation. I always keep skincare as basic as possible but I splurge on my hair products. Bar of soap is always a must and if you bring Doves beauty bar, that doubles as a face wash as well. I definitely need to try the toothpaste tablets.

Great ideas, but unless you are going just overnight, I have more clothes than will go in carry- on for a week.. Liquid stuff goes in gallon ziplocks so nothing leaks in my real suitcase. If I have to have only a carry on...most travel sized stuff is refillable...I keep it for that ....travel. Only stuff I need on the plane goes into the quart...that is eye stuff, liquid meds, epipens, inhaler (that's a families worth).

I wish I remembered the specifics, but once at Heathrow Airport, a smaller security section handed out liquids bags MUCH smaller than our quart bags. What a scene, I think every woman panicked! What didn’t fit had to be tossed. Since then I don’t dare fill, let alone stuff my quart liquids bag!
Last year I picked up some of those lotion pouches--I had a lot of trouble getting the product out so they're a no-go for me. I do like the small airless pumps though.
I bought those lotion pouches for our last trip to Spain, which was for almost a month and loved how little space they took in my toiletrie bag and by the end of the trip they had almost nothing left in them, so I just emptied out the little leftover, rinsed the bags and put them in my carry on bag and that was just one less thing in my toiletrie bag. I love that they came in 3 different sizes and had labels for them, total game changer since we only travel with a carry on.
I’ve found it really helps to inflate the pouch (like a balloon!) before using a funnel to decant product into the pouch.
Before I bought the pouches, I read the reviews, and lots of people were recommending to inflate the pouch before filling, so I had no problem filling them with products.
