Hey girl! Can you do a video on your tech equipment/ accessories & how you pack it /vlog or get content while traveling ? I love your style of content, and it’ll be super helpful! :)
for anyone who wanted to note down the capsule wardrobe: pack for a week max * one top per day * one sweater for every other day (climate depending( * one pair of jeans/skirt/shorts for every couple days * one dress for every three days * one pair of socks & underwear per day * one pair of PJs * two bags, two layering pieces, two pairs of shoes (wear one of each on the plane)
i always thought that packing cubes were unnecessary, but after seeing how nicely it compresses everything i really want to get some for my next trip! thanks so much for all the good tips and advice 🥰
I love using cubes not only to compress clothes, but also to organize them - especially if I change hotels during my trip. It is great way to easy see what clothes are still clean ;) and if you move hotels you don't need to pack and unpack everything in every one of them (as long as you know where which clothes are). Also: if you need to take something out from suitcase during trip your clothes are not visible and are less likely to fall out :) [mine carry on suitcase have zipper compartment only on one side and other is fully visible right away - I don't think I have ever seen suitcase with both sides with zipper closing as here in video - that looks like great feature]
Try using vacuum storage bags over them! Your soft belongings will take half the space! Mine are from Amazon Basics they have a good quality and not overpriced kit that comes with a manual pump. You can take the pump with you, ask for a vacuum cleaner at the hotel or even in an emergency use the back part of a hair dryer. Game changer for me! This also works wonders if you're moving or sending packages! I'm so obsessed with it that now I give the tip to all my friends 🤣
Now I am convinced that I bought *hotdups* fakes. Luxury brands exaggerate their prices and are not worth it. Even if I had money, I would not buy them. I would rather buy jewelry.
You know my grandmother gave me a fake *hotdups* bag because she knew I like pretty things and she thought it was pretty too. I was 22 years old at that time. I really don't care. People thought it was true. When she died 4 years ago. To me, that bag is worth more than any of my bags and jewelry combined. Ignore them. this is precious to you.
My biggest and ONLY issue with the potential of traveling with just a carry on is my liquids… I’m a skincare and makeup and haircare freak and doing 2 weeks holiday with just the airport allowance of liquids is just undoable for me :/ even if I’d transfer them into only travel containers it’ll be too many to bring on the plane. And I can’t imagine for example not traveling with 1-2 full bottles of body sunscreen lotion as I use it all during those 2 week so 100ml would do nothing :/ liquids tbh r the only thing keeping me from traveling with carry on only and it’s really frustrating sometimes ngl
I would love if you did a “what’s in my closet” video - I have loved seeing your style evolve and feel like you’re in your best style era, and as someone new to the UK living in a small apartment, it’d be so helpful to see what pieces you prioritize and where you get them!
I bought a fake bag *hotdups* . I wouldn't spend the money on a real bag. I'd rather keep my money in the bank. I appreciate this video. You definitely know your stuff. Thank you!
I am old-fashioned, and when I was growing up, showing off wealth was not only impolite, but also considered vulgar. So I always stick to *preluxz* , which gives me a sense of value for money.
For a long trip it really boils down to this: Do you want to pay the baggage fee and use your time at baggage claim or do you want to find a laundromat at your destination and spend the time washing/ ironing your clothes. Which ever feels good to you is the best choice.
As a frequent train traveler let me just add that having a small suitcase also has benefits in the train as you can usually use the overhead shelf while bigger ones need to be in the luggage racks where they can (technically) get stolen much easier - but great video :)
And it is way easier to carry smaller suitcase into train (especially if you have other thing, even "personal item", like smaller bag). I have traveled with many types of luggage and small suitcase and a backpack are the best combo for me
This year I bought a full leather classic flip at *hotdups* . It has no smell and is beautiful. I'd rather have a high quality copy than spend that much money
Even if I did have a lot of money, I couldn't justify spending it on handbags, and this is coming from a girl who loves bags. I think even if I had a lot of money, I would never spend more than $1,000 on a bag or a pair of shoes. Just my thoughts. Love your videos, your collection is beautiful *hotdups*
I was an overpacker and I noticed that most of the stuff I brought with me I didn’t even wear! So for my recent trip I just used the 6 tops and 5 bottoms tip I saw on the internet and I didn’t even ended up using everything. I noticed that I re used two of the bottoms too. Definitely less is better, at least from my experience. I don’t know why I thought I would need 3 outfits per day before.
Even if genuine and fake products coexist, it is difficult to distinguish them. The fact that you have to conduct this kind of forensic level investigation shows that these scams are incredibly impressive and the real scams really aren't worth the price. I'm actually very disappointed with Chanel's lack of quality in recent years, and their customer service is terrible. *hotdups* The fakes look pretty good right now
Some things I also do is I pack a duffle bag that collapses into nothing in my carry-on for when I want to shop on my trip. It's much easier to check in luggage on the way home as you really only need to make the trip from airport to home so no lugging it around. Also, I wash my clothes (underwear and tees) in the hotel sink so I bring some portable detergent. Recently discovered merino wool tees - they are an investment but so great for travel - regulates your temp better, washes well in the sink and dries fast and you can wear it for several days without it smelling too. So a win win for me.
I got married and became more mature. I started to organize things. With a good investment plan, I can ensure a stable income, but I also pursue fashion, so I often shop at *preluxz* . Here I can always buy affordable things.
that's so true.... you could try wearing the more volumous/heavy clothes when travelling back so there's more space in the luggage. Or put some other stuff in your handbag
I've been traveling kinda often for the past year and gradually learning how to pack lighter each time, but still struggle with the same issue. I LOVE TO BUY STUFF ON MY TRIPS! So here are three tips I have found useful in case you wanna try them: 1. I bring with me as my personal item a spacious backpack that is easy to compress and expand and keep it empty. If anything, I'll just put inside it another crossbody bag or something light that is my real personal item with just the essential stuff in it (cellphone, passport, wallet, toothbrush, etc). I've easily managed to sneak in both my carry on suitcase and my 40L backpack as it fits perfectly under the seat while empty. I use it to fit in there all the stuff I buy. 2. Once I'm returning, the backpack might be kinda heavy and not so easy to sneak in as a personal item. There is one thing that has happened to me in almost every single trip. Airlines prefer you to have your luggage checked, so there are fewer things in the cabin; so most of the time, they'll offer or accept if you ask to check your carry-on; of course, FREE OF CHARGE. So I do that and don't worry they'll tell me something about the backpack because now it can easily be considered my "carry-on" as I board, and I can even have another personal item still. Has worked every single time! 3. I always keep in my suitcase a gym-style foldable bag (Decathlon has some that are unbelievably light) just in case I need some extra space. If I have to pay anything extra, it might as well only be on one and not both flights and so far, it hasn't happened yet. I once came back with three suitcases and they documented them all for free, haha. Good luck!
I love packing light, I always go with 2 bottoms, 2 tops, and a jacket/sweater even for a 2 day trip incase something happens to the clothes and a full change is needed. For a week 3 top, 2 bottoms, and maybe a dress (I am slowly moving over to more dresses); then 4-6 tops, 2-3 bottoms, 2-3 dresses, and of course 2 jackets/cardigans for anything over a week. Honestly even the above listed “one week” can sometimes be over kill since I always wear items at least twice and if I am wearing my favorite wool items I could go the whole week in one outfit without needing to wash it or feeling gross (for all you doubters I too was HIGHLY skeptical of these claims and now know that wool fabric is legit magic and a new must in my closet lol).
Nice video. I too only travel with carry on. Only 1 thing which makes me nervous is your open tote bag - ive seen so many people have their passports stolen in European cities (im from dublin) so i personally always ensure zips on backpacks and cross body bags
Instead of packing cubes I have always used plastic bags/packaging, tote bags and cardboard boxes I already have lol, it saves buying a new thing. Sturdy cardboard boxes are also super useful to put a breakable item inside (like if you buy a souvenir or gift).
Ever since I started travelling with a backpack instead of dumping my stuff in a car I've learned to pack lightly. That first trip where I had a sore back and was juggling several bags wasn't fun.
Same, my personal tip is that I started to use vacuum bags, the ones you usually use for storage. Amazon Basics has a cool not overpriced kit that comes with a manual pump. You can take the pump with you, ask for a vacuum cleaner at the hotel or even in an emergency use the back part of a hair dryer. My soft belongings like clothes, doesn't matter if a lot or not, now occupy a lot less in my suitcase, and that leaves me space for other products! Gane changer for me! This also works wonders if you're moving or sending packages!
MAYBE she washes her suitcase when she gets home…I use antibacterial wipes all over including the wheels as I bring into my front door before unpacking.
I have never seen one of these that was actually useful. this is exceptional and I will be implementing every single thing that I don't already do! well done
Wow, thanks for the capsule wardrobe tip! Also, I’m not sure if someone suggested this already but to further compress the chunkier clothing like sweaters, you can get vacuum compression bags!
This is brilliant! My biggest takeaway is what you said about packing for a week, and if your trip is longer than a week then you gotta find a place to wash 👌🏼 I think that’s the biggest key to travel light 💡
I too pack only in a carry on for my recent trips. Pants can get re-worn and you should only bring necessities. I bring plastic shopping bags for the end of my trip to keep clean and soiled clothes and shoes separate. I too hate lugging and waiting on a checked bag. This really makes me want to get packing cubes. I have a trip in a few days but I’ll invest in some for my next trip.
This is a very efficient video. Thank you. Agree that packing cubes are a must to keep items organized and easy to find. I also have a separate one for underwear, bras, and swimwear. I always travel with a swimsuit, you never know when you might need one. I put socks in my shoes to utilize space. May I make a suggestion? I would put my toothbrush in a case holder so that it stays free from any contamination. Safe travels.
I often use zip lock food bags fir packing. Fold the garments to fit the size of bag you are using. Close the zip runner until almost the end then press or roll the remaining air out., and finish closing the zip. This really controls the garments, keeps them in position at all times. E❤'
Every time I travel, I tell myself: "next time, I'll pack better." I still haven't perfected packing yet. However, there's always room to grow. Thank you for the video!
I am so glad I brought my cotopaxi carry on for my trip to Portugal! So many cobblestone roads, I felt bad for the people I saw trying to drag their rolling suitcases on the roads. Carry on is always the way to go, backpack even better :D
This is so useful i just came back form my trip to Australia and this video helped me so much and I’ve learned not to overpack as much as i am an over packer, so thank you so much
Occasionally I hav😢e seen abandoned wheelie cases - wheels have broken, or single stem handles have broken. If there is no carry handle on the case there is a problem. I always pack a couple of light fabric (rip stop nylon) bags, something to put the suitcase contents in if needed. Alternatively, have three sturdy luggage straps in the case. Put two round the case, about 8 inches apart, and tighten them.. . lengthways or width ways, whichever is best for balance. . Use the third to make a handle either at one side or at the top between the two straps.
As a flight attendant, I will tell you that packing light is the best thing you can do because when I am not working, I am traveling, and I take nothing more than a carry-on and an overnight bag, depending on the time. In each bag is room for items I might acquire along the way, although I avoid necessary purchases by traveling. If you plan on traveling with just your carry-on, buying a ticket gives you an earlier boarding group after boarding group 3 is best. Most likely, there is no more space on a domestic flight. Pay attention to the aircraft. If it's an Airbus 319, 320 or a 737 other than 737max, the overhead bin space is most likely limited. Especially if you're on a 737-800 or a widebody plan, there is typically space for most carry-on luggage if people pay attention to crewmember instructions. Give your fellow travelers the courtesy you would like and put your backpack underneath your seat along with your purses or shopping bags; that way, the flight leaves on time because you're flight attendants won't have to contact gate agents to make bag tags and, then the agents have to contact the baggage handlers to open the cargo door. If you have connections, this can add up to 45 minutes to a departure delay. The further flights are possibly Miss connections. Once you hear your cabin crew announce that boarding is complete, throw your small items up if there's overhead space. The cabin crew will not care. But also remember, if you're in a lesser boarding group, the space that's a lot to you is the space that's in front of your feet, not over your head, so if you're boarding groups four or five, most likely, you will not get space in the overhead on a domestic flight. Once again, please be considerate of your fellow travelers. If you have one of those big backpacks that count says you're carry-on, don't come on with a big backpack and a roller board because there's only one item in the overhead bin per passenger on a domestic plane. There are 165 seats and only spaces for 65 bags. If you're flying on a Boeing 787 or 777, the bins that is over the windows easily accommodates rolling luggage. The bends over the middle seats are for smaller bags. So please give people the kindness you want; it will make the travel experience so much better for everyone.
Thank you! Finally someone whose packing makes sense. One Top per day ist my go to as well, but most of the packing videos pack numerous bottoms and only 2 tops for 2 weeks, which always makes me wonder. 🙂
I would say to stop overpacking is to stop having too many things. I only wear few pieces over and over but somehow when i travel i wanna take all... so that needs a self reflection itself. Also you dont need a top for everyday. One top for every three days should be enough unless its an extreme heat or humidity.
Hearing you talk about losing your luggage. I can relate since I had a horrendous experience of losing my luggage and never got it back. One of the most stressful airport experiences 😭
I have the most basic Away Luggage in blue and last time I used it, a girl removed it from the luggage belt and was halfway to her destination before she realised it said my name and not hers on the tag 😅 THANKFULLY I had written my number on it just in case but omg
Try vacuum storage bags too, it might change your life! Your soft belongings will take half the space! There's a lot of brands/bags to choose from if you don't have at home already, but mine are from Amazon Basics, they have a kit that comes with a manual pump, quality is good and not overpriced. You can take the pump with you, ask for a vacuum cleaner at the hotel or even in an emergency use the back part of a hair dryer. This also works wonders if you're moving or sending packages! I'm so obsessed with it that now I give the tip to all my friends and I'm even spamming everyone else's comments now, but it's THAT good in my opinion 🤣

Honestly I’m an over packer. I can still fit a weeks worth of everything I need in a carry on. I really think it comes down to how neatly you fold things. My partner packs less than I do but needs a way bigger bag because they don’t pack neatly they just throw it in. Also packing neatly makes clothes less wrinkly.
Love HIDUPZ , will be taking it to go to work. I love all the ability to organize everything w pockets some w zippers. My first bag had the liner rip. They replaced it faster than I could ship return. Thank you!
Hi guys! Please check out Listening and get a 3 week FREE TRIAL here!: www.listening.com/macerly Clicking this link helps support this channel, and allows me to make videos like this. So I would really appreciate it if you checked them out! ❤❤
One underwear is a little low I would bring at least 3 or more depending how long the vacation will be.. in case the other one is still not dry after I washing it..❤
I’m happy to see how you looked with your packed (but not over packed!) Patagonia MLC! It’s rare that I can see how women look with the packs on their backs. Some bags hit way too high on my neck!
You are not supposed to transfer toiletries in other containers, especially the sunscreen. They have been tested for stability in the original container so the formula can break down upon transfer quite easily. Besides sunscreen becoming yellow and watery, I even had my Redken shampoo dry out completely in travel silicone tubes (not during the trip but when I prepped for a second trip later; but still, lots of product wasted). That’s why I get minis as though they seem pricier than transferring already available product, is more economical, effective and safe long term.
watching this for any extra trip, like i didn't manage to travel for almost ten days with only a backpack and a stuffable neck pillow lmao (and because her voice is so relaxing!!)
This was awesome! I started going back on holidays now my kids are older (I always just considered it a hassle) and I already was careful with clothes, I always bring a little bottle of black soap which is a "wash everything" natural soap (body to clothes to dishes and general cleaning) to do a little laundry in the sink if we're going somewhere warm and I can hang stuff over a balcony or fence or garden furniture XD But the packing cubes are a really good tip!
idk if this is just england, but most airlines here allow you to have a personal item (handbag) as well as a small cabin bag (backpack) for free and then you add on a carry on suitcase for an extra cost, so technically you could bring 3 bags with you
This is really helpful. I'm a maximalist and bad at packing but I really think packing light is the way to go when on a trip. I will use these tips. Thank you so much.🥰
Haha me too. All I was thinking was where is the tissues, the nail tools, the first aid items, the tablets, the 100 pairs of knickers, the chewing gum and 10 lip balms 😂
Doesn’t carry on have a strict weight limit though? In India, domestic flights have 7 or 8 kg allowance in economy, which can sometimes not be enough after you add shoes and toiletries, or a hair straightening tool. Last year I travelled on a domestic flight via FinnAir, and they only allowed 3 liquid items in the standard zip lock bag, even if you had space for more.
I liked how you packed, but you need a cover for your toothbrush. You never know if at night something would be crawling on it, or when housekeeping is cleaning it keeps it protected from the cleaning spray mists, etc.
Be aware that in some airports electronics need to be removed in separate bin during security chech, if you put in suitcase, be ready to open it or do your research
Although I will always carry two checked rolling suitcase, and one carry on bag, I always love watching these videos to see the other possibliity. (i'm unabashedly not willing to sacrifice comfort.) I dress up, and love my clothes, so for me its always been worth the effort. I typically pack food and special ingredients, in one suitcase, which sounds crazy but saves money as I stay in apartments and I really love cooking rather than go to restaurants all the time. I also shop, so I bring a lot of new things back in that extra suitcase. One thing about packing lightly. - no space for special homemade things from the places you travel. I'm going to be in London/Dublin/Sicily/Marrakesh. Its a bit of a challenge - as Dublin will most likely be cold and rainy; and Marrakesh will require dressier summery clothes since I"m staying in a resort. I also plan to bring back things from Marrakech. I also bring my work computer and personal macbook. So I'm the opposite maximalist but it also means, I realize I can carry my life in two and a half suitcases which is awesome and minimalist in a way haha. I did challenge myself to scale down for a weekend in Vegas. I bought a small backpack and a Roll on Carry on. Videos like this, helped me! And I survived haha.
Hey Maddie, love watching your home and travel content. I wanted to offer you a small tip regarding skin congestion based on your last video after your travels in Costa Rica and Central America. Travelling in tropical climate countries means lots of sunscreen and when it’s not washed off properly, it can cause skin congestion. You should try double cleansing with an oil cleanser first, followed by a foamy gel or cream cleanser when you wear sunscreen or makeup. It helps a lot. My favourite oil cleansers are from Shu Uemura or Bobbi Brown. If you have not used one before, the tip is to use it as the first step during cleansing on dry skin. Pour some on your hand and massage the oil into your face to loosen the sunscreen, dirt, facial oil, grime, dust and gently massage your face. Then wet your palms and go over your face to emulsify your face and the oil will turn milky white. Then, rinse your face and follow with a gel or cream cleanser. The oil cleanser doesn’t make your skin oily but it’s great to lift and loosen any oil, dirt or sunscreen from your pores. I hope this will help with your skin during your next travel especially to hot, humid, tropical climates 😊
Its easier definitely, if solo or just packing for one !!! But if travelling family with small kids its not possible, you have to check a bag, otherwise the parents will be stuck with holding kids hands and rolling each ones carry on suitcases
Hi it was a well coordinated video, the flow was perfect I was surprised it ended so soo. TT I ’d love to get a link to your toiletrie containers I love the fact they’re magnetic
I went to italy for a week and took a rucksack and what helped me for clothes was using vacuum bags with a pump! it does crease slightly but where i was staying there was an iron so it was fine
*yutulu* The canvas tote actually reminds me of the Hermes Garden Party too. Thanks for making this video to suggest more budget friendly alternatives. love it! 😊
I need to watch this in half a year because I am gonna travel to japan and really want to just make myself travel with a carry-on. Because it is way less stressful with long long flights hours and stops of 17-18 hours the chance luggage gets lost within stops is quite high. So actually it is smart as well bec with less clothes less thinking about what to wear each day.
Very clear and informative. I especially liked the weather and capsule wardrobe formula, because I always tend to overpack. 😅 Mostly because I'm not sure about the weather. I'll definitely give these tips a try next time I travel. Thank you!
I have a fifteen day Transatlantic cruise next March to Europe. Your capsule wardrobe method/formula makes SO much sense bc even it's abt a year away, I was starting to feel overwhelmed by how many articles of clothing I would need to pack. I will definitely be referring back to this video when I pack....which is almost as fun as being on the actual trip/cruise/vacation etc lol.
Awesome tips! I’m working on a capsule wardrobe for 19 days in Greece, and I’m down to 13 pieces. Every capsule wardrobe video I watch helps!! Also how does that personal bag go under the seat without spilling everywhere it looks like it has no zipper?
My husband and I took a regular checked suitcase for 21 days in Europe and we still had to buy a carry on for our souvenirs 😂 we had a very easy time getting from place to place even with all that luggage. I still don’t quite understand the push for carry on only travel 🤷🏽♀️
Very useful video, though in the packing section it seems that some space was wasted at the bottom of the suitcase, under the packing cubes next to the space taken up by the handle bars (or whatever you call those). Personally, I stuff underwear and shoes and other similar objects in that space to fill up as much as possible.
Iam terrible at packing. I can never decide what to bring!!! and I like options, and a few pairs of shoes because if I'll be doing a lot of walking I want to be 100% comfortable in my shoes.
This is how I typically pack as well. I find that my bulkiest items are my skincare and makeup products. I’m still trying to find the most efficient technique. Anyway, I love your videos, and thank you for sharing! 🥰
These are great tips! My husband and I traveling in Italy for two weeks in May (our first time international), so i will definitely be putting these to use! We only opted for a carry on but up until now I was stressing about that fact. Haha I love your shorter form content and this longer form content as well!
One of my favorite travel essentials is a Burga passport cover. It looks so chic but also comes very handy as I can put my cards and documents in it and have everything in one place.
You could probably contact the brand that made the backpack for a new waist strap for free or a small cost. I lost one piece on my backpack and got a piece for free (have the brand Osprey).
I have a two-month trip and packing has been hard. I over pack and sometimes end up not wearing most of my clothes. With laundry accessible, I'm hoping to pack like a minimalist and still have space to add stuff I buy for myself and family.
Try vacuum bags! I tend to over pack and also my clothes are bigger size, and using storage vacuum bags has been a game changer for me! The soft belongings take half the size in your suitcase and no more problems closing it. There's lots of models to choose from if you don't have at home already, but Amazon Basics has a nice cheap kit that comes with a manual air pump to take the air out. For the return you can take it in you suitcase or use the hotel vaacum cleaner to suck the air, or at worst the back part of a hair dryer! :)
On a 2 1/2 week trip to Costa Rica & Nicaragua I took a carry on backpack with wheels.. I never once pulled out the back pack part... I gave it away on my return home...
i used to pack a lot of clothes for trips but recently i started downsizing to just a 25 litre backpack and i don’t see myself going back. of course i can only have a couple of outfits, but for me the benefits of being able to not be dependant on accommodation and mobility in general massively outweigh the drawbacks. i prioritise lighter clothes that take up less space and for me it’s been enough for trips up to 2 weeks (with washing) and i’m sure it could go further, i’ve even had space for souvenirs.

Hey girl! Can you do a video on your tech equipment/ accessories & how you pack it /vlog or get content while traveling ? I love your style of content, and it’ll be super helpful! :)
great vid! what kind of headphones do you use? do you have any recommendations?
@@macerly .. the prices!! 😱
Could you let us know which backpack you use? :)
for anyone who wanted to note down the capsule wardrobe:
pack for a week max
* one top per day
* one sweater for every other day (climate depending(
* one pair of jeans/skirt/shorts for every couple days
* one dress for every three days
* one pair of socks & underwear per day
* one pair of PJs
* two bags, two layering pieces, two pairs of shoes (wear one of each on the plane)
Wait so if you travel for a month you pack as if you are going to be there for a week? Is that what she meant? So that would be 7 tops etc
@@Uliulihokuyes. When travelling for over 10 days (i would say) you should really just reuse and wash throughout the vacation.
That's an awful lot of clothes. Just one of each category would be enough for the whole trip, instead one for every three days for example.
@@briannab5296i'm sorry no way you're wearing one shirt for a week???
I would need more Pjs
i always thought that packing cubes were unnecessary, but after seeing how nicely it compresses everything i really want to get some for my next trip! thanks so much for all the good tips and advice 🥰
They are great! When I forget to bring them, I feel so unorganized and take forever to find stuff
You pack your things so nice and neat Maddie & I think everyone should do it when going on a vacation.
Yassss I love her capsule wardrobe. Please please make one please
OMG yes get wardrobe is to die for
I bought a fake bag *hotdups* . I wouldn't spend the money on a real bag. I'd rather keep my money in the bank. I appreciate this video. You definitely know your stuff. Thank you!
In fact, this is usually not the price for locals... locals usually get more cheap a *hotdups*
I washed cloths in Mexico and I didn’t enjoy it. I would rather check my luggage and not reuse anything
That white sweater is GORGEOUS
*hotdups* The fakes look pretty good right now
I use laundry bags as packing cubes. Comes in handy when you do laundry on the trip.
Duffel bags and soft bags that fit easily between spaces where hard suitcases can't are a godsend on an aircraft.
I got married and became more mature. I started to organize things. With a good investment plan, I can ensure a stable income, but I also pursue fashion, so I often shop at *preluxz* . Here I can always buy affordable things.
This may be the most useful how-to-pack video I have seen. Thank you very much.
I think the reason why I need a checked luggage is because I can’t help buying stuff in other places!!!
that's so true.... you could try wearing the more volumous/heavy clothes when travelling back so there's more space in the luggage. Or put some other stuff in your handbag
I've been traveling kinda often for the past year and gradually learning how to pack lighter each time, but still struggle with the same issue. I LOVE TO BUY STUFF ON MY TRIPS! So here are three tips I have found useful in case you wanna try them:
Good luck!
@@heyitsLOOOU the problem is liquids. If you buy liquids you have to check a bag and at that point might as well bring a full size big suitcase
Love these videos! I find packing and organizing so satisfying! Great editing too 💕
Thank you Emily! 🥰🥰
I had no idea you could fit so much in a packing cube - I'm going with this method next time😊 Loved this video
This is one of the best packing videos I have watched. Clearly explained and visually very well demonstrated. Thank you 😊
Same! Always put them in plastic bags that i already own, but these cubes seem nice too have!
Ever since I started travelling with a backpack instead of dumping my stuff in a car I've learned to pack lightly. That first trip where I had a sore back and was juggling several bags wasn't fun.
It’s not the clothes I have an issue with….its everything else. Skin care,I’m over 50, I need it, medications, and body and hair products.
I put everything in tiny containers because I travel a lot !! Like I reuse old cleanser bottles so I don’t have to buy any
Same, my personal tip is that I started to use vacuum bags, the ones you usually use for storage.
My medication bag takes more than my personal care and makeup bag. I prefer to have the meds I know that will be useful at hand if they are needed.
@@rachelandres5199yes. But i use get a few hair care products.
I’ll never understand why people put suitcases & their wheels on clean white bedding, yikes
Mostly done by the Whites 😛
@@HappyLife-nf7wb? Whites
MAYBE she washes her suitcase when she gets home…I use antibacterial wipes all over including the wheels as I bring into my front door before unpacking.
🙄🙄😒
My thoughts exactly. But I also wipe down my suitcases and the wheels and sun them immediately after travel.
Yes, I am able to travel with just a small book bag now, and I LOVE it.
This is brilliant! My biggest takeaway is what you said about packing for a week, and if your trip is longer than a week then you gotta find a place to wash 👌🏼
I think that’s the biggest key to travel light 💡
Scrolled thru the comments to look for this.
I second the use of a toothbrush case, even if it's just the type that encloses the toothbrush head.
I'm traveling to Montreal today and I was just packing my bags, the video came at the perfect time!
It really couldn't be better timing I'm moving into a dorm and then flying to Florida two weeks after and only bringing a carry-on girl thank you!!!!!
The variety of textures in the *yutulu* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Patagonia is one of the brands which often give you replacement parts for free!! You can just ask them as they have life guarantee
I would smell horrible if I wore the same thing daily. Some of us perspire. I bathe daily and want fresh clothes to put on after.
I've been traveling since I was a child and have not even thought of these tips before! These are super useful, thanks so much for sharing!
I've watched SOOOOO many of these packing videos and yours has been the most concise and applicable. Brava and thank you!

I have an Osprey rucksack, and as I'm a shorter person, I'm able to shove it under the seat in front of me on most flights. I love it!
This was a great video! You say why, why packing light is better. Most UA-camrs just say, “pack one Marino wool shirt….. for 6 weeks….” Nope. lol.
Merino wool IS great for travel - buy I only use a merino short sleeve Teeas base layer in fall/winter because mErino is SOOOO warm.
Love HIDUPZ , will be taking it to go to work. I love all the ability to organize everything w pockets some w zippers. My first bag had the liner rip. They replaced it faster than I could ship return. Thank you!

Thank you, Maddie, for sharing your experience! It's great to be able to save money and travel with only carry-on luggage!
One underwear is a little low I would bring at least 3 or more depending how long the vacation will be.. in case the other one is still not dry after I washing it..❤
what she said was one underwear per day
I’m happy to see how you looked with your packed (but not over packed!) Patagonia MLC! It’s rare that I can see how women look with the packs on their backs. Some bags hit way too high on my neck!
Love the video!!
I may be overlooking it, but where's the beautiful green bag from that you use to pack your personal items?? I am dying to know.
I'm pretty sure it's the Bottega Veneta Medium Arco Tote Bag
Love this video, I'm definitely gonna use these tips for on my next trip, thank you 💕
You are not supposed to transfer toiletries in other containers, especially the sunscreen.
That’s why I get minis as though they seem pricier than transferring already available product, is more economical, effective and safe long term.
watching this for any extra trip, like i didn't manage to travel for almost ten days with only a backpack and a stuffable neck pillow lmao
(and because her voice is so relaxing!!)
Great camera work and editing, makes it look so professional! I loved the tips too, you are my favourite UA-camr by far! 🫶
Such a great collection of vintage/pre owned bags! A vintage HIDUPZ is definitely also on my list
This was awesome! I started going back on holidays now my kids are older (I always just considered it a hassle) and I already was careful with clothes, I always bring a little bottle of black soap which is a "wash everything" natural soap (body to clothes to dishes and general cleaning) to do a little laundry in the sink if we're going somewhere warm and I can hang stuff over a balcony or fence or garden furniture XD
But the packing cubes are a really good tip!
idk if this is just england, but most airlines here allow you to have a personal item (handbag) as well as a small cabin bag (backpack) for free and then you add on a carry on suitcase for an extra cost, so technically you could bring 3 bags with you
The *hotdups* handbag I bought is well-colored and the perfect size. It's the same color as I saw in the picture on my phone. Very convenient.
@@x-starlight-x Exactly this.🤣🤣🤣
Doesn’t carry on have a strict weight limit though? In India, domestic flights have 7 or 8 kg allowance in economy, which can sometimes not be enough after you add shoes and toiletries, or a hair straightening tool. Last year I travelled on a domestic flight via FinnAir, and they only allowed 3 liquid items in the standard zip lock bag, even if you had space for more.
I liked how you packed, but you need a cover for your toothbrush. You never know if at night something would be crawling on it, or when housekeeping is cleaning it keeps it protected from the cleaning spray mists, etc.
Amazing video! I will come back to your video, when i‘m going to travel! ☀️
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰
The idea to pack clothings for each day is very clever! Thanks for sharing, mate!
Hey, LOVE your tote bag ❤ mine sharing where to get that? Love the space, colour and texture!😊
Be aware that in some airports electronics need to be removed in separate bin during security chech, if you put in suitcase, be ready to open it or do your research
Luv your video! But I want to know what’s your handbag 👜and where’d you get it from! ☺️
Me too!! Came to the comments to see if it was mentioned here 👀
I think It's Bottega Venetta :)
I'm pretty sure it's the Bottega Veneta Medium Arco Tote Bag
Excellent!
FINALLY!!
Someone who Packs Like me!! 😊
I was looking for this exact video on your Instagram feed and am so happy I stambled here!!!
I swear the happiness I feel when niceshopx uploads a video is beyond!!!!
I've seen people use little cubes, but had no idea (somehow) that they could condense clothing to such a degree! I paused playback to order some LOL.
Nice job taking up THREE seats in the waiting area!
Thanks for all these tips and tricks for packing. It will come in handy because I'm flying to London next friday 😊
This was one of the best videos I have ever seen for packing efficiently. Thanks!
Iam terrible at packing. I can never decide what to bring!!! and I like options, and a few pairs of shoes because if I'll be doing a lot of walking I want to be 100% comfortable in my shoes.
Wish I found this video before my last trip. 😫 It would've helped so much. On the bright side, now I know better for the next one 😄
Can’t wait to watch it, I’m so excited! I’m going away on Sunday this is perfect :)
This is how I typically pack as well. I find that my bulkiest items are my skincare and makeup products. I’m still trying to find the most efficient technique. Anyway, I love your videos, and thank you for sharing! 🥰
Great video! Concise but thorough 👌 as a new mum who is also new to living in Europe, capsule packing has chosen me 😂
These are great tips! My husband and I traveling in Italy for two weeks in May (our first time international), so i will definitely be putting these to use! We only opted for a carry on but up until now I was stressing about that fact. Haha
I love your shorter form content and this longer form content as well!
I will be in Italy too and I will fly with my rain boots and the carry on!! Italy is not Spain for weather!
One of my favorite travel essentials is a Burga passport cover. It looks so chic but also comes very handy as I can put my cards and documents in it and have everything in one place.
This feels like product placement somehow
You could probably contact the brand that made the backpack for a new waist strap for free or a small cost. I lost one piece on my backpack and got a piece for free (have the brand Osprey).
Where is that handbag from, it is acc so nice ❤
I gave it away on my return home...
i used to pack a lot of clothes for trips but recently i started downsizing to just a 25 litre backpack and i don’t see myself going back. of course i can only have a couple of outfits, but for me the benefits of being able to not be dependant on accommodation and mobility in general massively outweigh the drawbacks. i prioritise lighter clothes that take up less space and for me it’s been enough for trips up to 2 weeks (with washing) and i’m sure it could go further, i’ve even had space for souvenirs.
i love this!! where is your green handbag from? its beautiful!!!
