You are right about carrying tools you can't use. I'm a 72 year old solo female and two years ago had a blowout on the 5er on an interstate. The AAA tow truck driver had everything except the right size socket for the lug nuts. I KNEW that socket was so important, I kept it in the silverware drawer and handed it to him in less than 30 seconds after he said he had to go into town to get the right size socket. My RV mentor a few years before that had told me to buy that special size and keep it because he knew my wheels required an odd size!
As Dwight says... “the driver always protects his side”. Love that Carson quoted the office! My 11 year old son just bought himself a hat that says The Office. Great humor!
Hi folks, we originally invested in a new 08 F450 loaded full size King Ranch with a gooseneck Hensly airbag hitch for our 36' Heartland Bighorn and replaced the truck in fall of 17 with a new F450 Platinum full size with all the options possible and love every mile we travel from a practical and creature comfort perspective. Enjoy the journey and keep sharing those great videos!
“Heat Seater” My wife lost it when you said that! She says it all the time and I pick on her about it. She said now she’s not alone. Love the new truck. I’m totally amazed at the turning radius. My GMC sure won’t do that.
I did all this rationalization between the two (350-450) and the numbers pointed to the 350. 350 and 450 towing capacity are so close...the 350 payload is higher......the cost favors the 350.....options favors 350.....the 450 with most insurance companies rate you at the commercial vehicle level etc etc. 450 you get the better turning radius 🤷🏻♂️. Awesome, appreciate the EMT comment. I've been an EMT for 18 years and just started RV'ing last year. I do carry my own bag but heck, if it's something bad, it's nice to have extra supplies. Thanks Mark and Trish.
I think its great you have all the tools for your vehicle(s) - your families safety has no boundaries - and there really is no explanation needed as to why you have "YOUR" tools - great vids!
Good for you Marc...you'll love the truck...and 450 HP, should pull with ease, when in the mountain country of U.S & Canada! You may remember from our 'meet up' in Vancouver, my F450 King Ranch, and yes the turning radius is superb! It just comes in handy so darn often, and any vibration you've felt may be from the rear lug tires, and yes...less flex than the smaller tire sizes, but more flexing. Once you get hooked up, the ride should settle in quite nicely. I also added airbags to my F450 for the additional ability in raising/lowering the rear. One thing you should do is check out what we call 'the pumpkin' (rear differential carrier) and see the size of it, compared to your F250...it will be nice to see Marc's 'add-on's' coming up in the next season or two on the truck! Look forward to seeing the whole rig all set up, and your reviews in upcoming video's! Cheers to you both, and happy travels to you all!
When you are ready to move between trailers, put the toy hauler ramp as close to floor height of the old rig - no steps! Do a bucket brigade to make it go faster.
@@chayabrody722 Thanks, now I don't have to watch this video because I was only interested when they said "dog." Don't really care about the new truck.
A reblance by the dealer might solve the issue or the tires could have been flat spotting from sitting. It might go away on a long hot drive. Also, new vehicle often come with whatever tires the manufacturer could get the best deal on. Hopefully its not the latter.
Congratulations on the new truck. I loved the fact that you called JD from big truck big RV. I have learned so much from his videos. Combining the two ( three). Of you together was great.
Bought my '19 F-250 spending 20 minutes in the dealership. Negotiated all rebates and pricing with the internet sales dept. Just needed to sign paperwork when I got to the dealer. Got an amazing deal with no pressure. I've bought many cars over the last 20+ years and I am a tough negotiator but I will never sit in a dealer office playing that game again now that most dealerships have internet sales departments who are competent.
I watched this a few months ago - and I'm so glad I did before my wife and I went test driving last Saturday. My daily car is a VW GTI - ie small and a 'sporty' ride. The first truck we tried was a 1 ton GMC DRW long bed. Took away three observations. First, ride is comparable to my GTI. Second, it takes a couple of lanes to turn it. Third, it is was a beast, fully capable of pulling almost every rig I might look at. We then drove a 2020 F450 DRW LB. OMG! Three observations - OMG it is a wicked cool truck, it's ride is rougher than my GTI and it feels like it can turn circles around the 350/3500. I really could see/feel the benefit of the 450 turning radius.
Mark, I believe you can disconnect your city horn and connect your air horn and control it with the regular horn button. Or, you can install a switch on a chain - trucker style.
This episode was so much fun to watch; from seeing your truck make that turn, to the banana, to the flashbacks! Loved it. Can't wait to see the new rig
I knew it wouldn’t be long before you got that 5th wheel. You will love how much easier it tows than your current travel trailer. You won’t even know your pulling anything.
Just know that not all Dealers are like that, I have a great Chevy dealership at Home. I have been in those other places a in the past and stayed, but now to old to put up with that crap, will just walk out.
Congratulations on your new truck! You are going to love the Dually over the single wheel. The difference in towing is unbelievable especially if y’all purchase that fifth wheeler. ENJOY!!!
We have a 2017 model. The tires need to break in. It will follow cracks in the road something fierce. Mine broke in around 5000 miles. We tow a Mobile Suites Lexington. 26k loaded. Pulls like a champ and the ride really smooths out when towing. Can't beat the turning radius for placing the house in sites!! Congrats.
Congratulations on the F450! You both were the reason we pulled the trigger on our trailer almost two years ago and haven't regretted ONE second. Can't wait to see the new trailer AND dog... FYI Trish... We rescued our new trailer baby (dog) this weekend! We have been two years without - It was time. Wish we could attach pics, as she is adorable! Enjoy the new rigs. :-)
Something I’ve found to be priceless to carry pertaining to tools would be the Milwaukee impact gun. Makes roadside repairs so much faster which means less exposure to crazy drivers. Also allows you to help someone change a flat in a few short minutes when you combine the cordless impact with the bottle jack
Very nice truck. You can get the sunroofs on the Lariat and Platinum, but honestly your new home will cover that most of the time. You must have some “Tim the Tool Man” moments in your life! Glad Trish likes it too!
In August I will hit the 10 year anniversary of owning my dually. Not once have a ever regretted having a long and wide (fat) truck. Congrats on the F450!
Yeah well the only time I regret it is when I had to buy a set of tires, tight two lane roads and drive through lanes. Oh, TWICE when I took my truck in for tires or repair that the tech driving the truck crushed one of my dual fenders :-P
Oh Yeah, that reminds me.... AutoNation in Spokane, WA crashed my dually fender in to the shop door, fixed the damage and when I discovered the repair, they denied EVERYTHING! I took it all the way to headquarters, and made them replace the side of the truck bed.
I went through a similar procedure before purchasing our F-350 DRW diesel to pull our 14,500 lb GVWR 5th Wheel. I also subscribe to BTBRV and was delighted to see the connection and acknowledgement between you guys and JD. I was aware of his disdain for the turning radius of the F-350 and so I watched for that specifically as I took my test drives. Frankly, the turning radius on the F-350 was no worse than I would have expected from a 22 foot long DRW pick-up. What REALLY bothered my was the larger wheels and rough ride (as you experienced) on the F-450. I figured that the rougher ride and larger wheels were more of an issue on longer hauls than the turning radius would be so I bought the F-350 with no regrets. I have come to love it more and more every day, and really have not run into any problems because of the turning radius. Had I known about the cost to replace those 6 tires on the F-450, that would have made my decision even easier! Love your posts BTW and will be sincerely interested in your continued upgrades and improvements to both your vehicle as well as your (suspected at this point) new toy-hauler. I suspect my suspicions will be proven in a few minutes with this week's episode! Looking forward to it.
Hi you two!! Estelle here from Jasper Food Tours! Just a quick note to tell you that I've had TONS of your viewers on my tour since it was published last year. THANK YOU!! There's a bottle of that Espresso Vodka waiting for you next time you come through Jasper:) Cheers!!
@@KeepYourDaydream Mine gets delivered tomorrow, I am reusing the head unit from my old truck, the base was only 429$! to mount into the factory 5th wheel prep from B&W.
I was looking forward to this video all week. I’m also in the market for a dually and had not considered F-450’s. Lots of good information and great video!
I remember making a comment when you bought the last truck and I knew youd need more truck immediately. Glad to see someone take the tow ratings seriously taking into account payload, etc.
WOW, that U-turn at 10:35 was amazing..... I could have just barely made that same turn in my daily driver (Subaru Crosstrek). Loved this video.... I laughed quite a few items, and had to replay the banana eating. When you found the banana, I was sure you were pulling out a pair of Caleb's shoes, since it seems he loses them occasionally. LOL
Congrats you guys. Although for me your channel has just jumped the shark. You started with a relatable family camping experience using the family truck and just enough trailer to get you going. While I understand its more comfortable for you guys, for me, the entire draw of this channel was watching you deal with the difficulties associated with NOT having the perfect equipment, upgrading what you had and working within a realistic budget. For me, you reached the end goal.
I’ll tell you what I’m leaving behind.... Sun/Moon roof, 60 gal tank, on board air... I was laughing so hard and long😂😂😂 Bells and whistles for true practicality, well worth it. Great truck great purchase;)
Congratulations on upgrading. You got the right color. I own a detailing shop and the best thing I ever did for my sanity was get rid of my black SUV's and get a silver and gold one. Less washing, less swirls when you do. Those guys brushing your F250 with big rig brushes must have left their signature.
Hey guys! First, great video and congrats on the new rig! My suggestion for you guys would be to go to your DMV in Arizona and pick up a CDL practice book. It has a ton of information on towing, pre-trip inspections, and what to look for. When I got my Class A CDL, it definitely changed the way I drove and made me realize how a good pre-trip can minimize potential dangers. Cheers guys! KYD 🤘
Love your new truck guys! My 2003 F-150 Lariat Crew Cab came from Bartow Ford. Big Truck Big RV was my introduction to the 450. The video’s thumbnail was a picture of his ruby red metallic trucks front end, and it looked completely awesome with the wider front axle and the profile of the truck. That’s when I learned that ford had been producing the 450 in a pickup truck body, and that it was a very unique truck. I’ve been in love with the 450’s ever since! Congrats on your dream truck! It’s been my dream truck from the first time I saw one.
I follow JD from Big Truck Big RV and the meshing of both channels I thought was brilliant! Congratulations on your new truck and I cant wait to see which RV you got!
Congrats, the new truck is a beauty, but I will miss your moon/sun roofs. Now I'm excited to see what RV you got. And I love, love, love that you are letting Trish have her puppy now!!! Can't wait until next Sunday now, but when can I ever wait for the next episode?!! You guys always leaving me wanting more. Hugs, Brenda
Beautiful truck! Very exciting to be getting into a new rig. Can’t wait to see what you got - and, especially can’t wait for the new addition to the family - a puppy ❤️🤗👍! I’m watching Season Seven sequentially as it unrolls but I am also watching any other KYD videos that pop into my feed - so i am bouncing all around in your trips, sometimes watching a segment a second time. Love your videos and I am getting lots of vicarious travel pleasure while learning so much about RV life. Wish I had known about you during our RV time.
My local Ford Dealer here in Winder, Georgia, Akins Ford, which does a lot of fleet sales, has 32 F-350s and 58 F-450s. Every time I drive by there it just amazes me how many vehicles (1904) are on that lot. Your going to enjoy having all that smooth power of a big truck.
Nope. That was then, this is now. The engines today are not the same as when your dad bought a new vehicle. Many in the industry agree a 100 miles is enough and many feel no special treatment is needed at all.
@@geraldhenrickson7472 I don't think that is the case. Although break-in periods are definitely shorter then they use to be, a break-in period is still recommended. For example my brand new Ram 2019 Sport has a 500KM engine break-in period and a 805KM minimum before towing anything with it, and then recommends an additional 805km until 'normal' towing. This is straight out of the owners manual. BTW break-in is not just about the engine, it is about the entire truck, including the tires.
I purchased a f350 two years ago today. I elected NOT to get the full camera option and have regretted it ever since. However, if I were to order today, I would not get the puck system. I use the truck to haul gravel or garden stuff once in a while and it does not fail that when you are scooping out the truck you invariably hit one of the pucks. I really do not understand why ford and ram did not put them flush with the bottom of the truck rather than with the raised rib.
Brian....thanks for showing your patriotism with Old Glory. Could you please replace and correct your photo as the field of blue is backwards on your display. Thanks. LMG. USN Veteran
you can get upfitter switches added. as far as i know, they come all pre-wired and you find the place in the dash or over head and wire them in. so no big deal. sunroof is a little more tricky, dremel, clear plastic shrink wrap and gorilla tape. trish may freak a little at the sunroof.
Uplift Switches... Most ford truck are prewired for the uplift switches. On the 2019 F450 I think the switch mounted on the center dash just to the right of the trailer break control. Ford's Part Number is HC32-13D730-AA. The MSRP is $67.18 for the switch assemble. All you have to do is pop out the panel on your dash beside the trailer break control, find the wiring plug under the dash and connect the switch assemble to the wire then plug the assemble into the dash... Air Horn Here You Come!!!
Loved this episode. I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and started to binge watch it. Like the way how you produce content. Very entertaining. Keep going!
My family was in the market for a F250 and went looking. We went to the same dealership and actually test drove your used truck. I had the keys in my hand ready to buy it, but got a 2019 instead. I thought I saw you guys at the dealership but was lost in truck world. Like the new truck.
Thank you, that was alot of information that i never thaught about. You all are so much fun to watch. Id love to meet ya someday with my fam. We currently have a class A but think alot about going to a fifth wheel. The info sure helps thanks and keep the videos coming
We had a 2016 F350 Lariat and absolutely loved it. We traded it in for a class A diesel pusher ( thinking we wouldn’t need the truck anymore ). Our hobby is drag racing. The Class A can pull our race trailer , but we can definitely feel it behind the motorhome. We wanted another truck and last August we found a 2019 F450 King Ranch at a dealership and fell in love with it and it can be flat towed behind the motorhome when we go on vacation. We had a Roll and Lock bedcover on our 350 and hated it. It was hard for me to pull so we knew we wanted a electric one for the 450. Found a Pace/Edward one. A little pricey but worth every penny.
Just your standard f-450..... lmao 😂 Great video guys and good for you! Keep up the good work you guys deserve everything you work for and I hope to see you continue to grow!!! A new rig every season would be awesome to see! Thorough model reviews in the future! Best wishes and hope to run into you guys some day!
We're not 100% sure it will work yet. The best case is a diesel truck and towable RV. If/when we do Class A/C, we'll have to buy used... due to that pesky odometer.
Honestly the best deals are on lightly used vehicles/rv’s. Just this past year my wife and I purchased a Kodiak ultimate.... very nice for our price range..... but man did we see an absolutely amazing travel trailer made by outback that had a kitchen with a full bar and a hood that would be suitable for a restaurant kitchen! Needless to say it wasn’t in our price range but I can absolutely see you guys in a model of that stature! Did I mention double refrigerators. Anyways it’s very exciting to my wife and I to see some of those layouts and if you guys did somehow pull off a rig change that often you can absolutely expect a guaranteed view from us!!!
Back in Jan 1998 we bought a new Ford Super Duty, thats the old version, that was actually a F450, they only came in cab/chassis, we got the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel, 4 speed auto trans and the truck had the 5:13 traction loc rear end, and had the AC dealer added, and the truck had the cloth seats. it was a true commercial truck. We hauled a 3500# camper and pulled a 3 horse trailer. the truck got a 11Ft flatbed and 2 4 ft storage boxes under the bed. I went with the Super Duty,F450 because at the time it was the only truck with 4 wheel disc brakes. we did a lot of mountain work with that truck, camping in the mountains or crossing the mountains to ride. when loaded we GCVW out at 19 to 20,000@ and the truck handled it great. we had the 4: exhaust K&N filter, and the computer was reprogrammed. That was a sweet running truck. we drove it for 15 years and the only trouble we had was the transmission, that was replaced and a super heavy duty oil cooler installed. We had upgraded from a 460 F350 with a smaller trailer. never regreted buy it, but yeah it was rough riding without the camper and trailer, but 95% of the time the camper never came off. I don't remember how many times some smart ass asked "Think ya got a big enough truck"??? It is better to have it and NOT need it than to need it and NOT have it..... It being the capacity and grunt to do the job !!!!
New truck new rig, who cares, I want to see the new Dog. 😃 love the throwback segments. Also I couldn’t stop laughing at Marc on the test drive and he was disappointed in he shaking. Personally I would have gone with the 350 due to the cab comforts. But I am guessing you got a 5th wheel so the turning radius is a really big thing. Congrats 🎉
CONGRATULATIONS on your new truck! I too like watching Big Truck Big RV. My wife will be the same as Trish when we talk money on our purchase. Continued success on your travels. Take care and be safe.
Great video! I am at the crossroads of choosing a truck, and it's overwhelming because ultimately they all are pretty similar in terms of power delivery, but there are so many other issues to consider such as braking, suspension, turning radius and so on. I can't wait for you guys to reveal your new 5th wheel. I am a project manager, and work around the country, and I am hopefully going full-time at the end of 2019/early 2020, and I will be going with a 5th wheel as well. The rigs I am looking closely at (LUXE 42md and Luxe toyhauler--both have dedicated office space areas) have a GVWR of 24,000 so I will definitely be looking at F450 and Ram 3500 as options. What kept you from considering the Ram 3500 with the max tow package (air suspension)? Is it the turning radius, suspension, and brakes of the F450 that attracted you? Will you be adding a rear air suspension to the F450? Anyways, I am a subscriber and will be staying tuned as you guys move forward because you provide such wonderful commentary into full-time life. Looking forward to more great videos!
Loved how he quoted Dwight. Also I have a 2017 F450 King Ranch that I tow my toy hauler with and it is a bit smoother ride while towing. First upgrades I am going to do with it though is add airbags and upgrade to 20" rims since 19.5" is an awkward size and 20" is more common and easier to find tires for.
Congratulations on the new truck! It's always bittersweet to let a good one go, especially when it's taken you on as many adventures as your F250 did. Big pill to swallow, but it'll be worthwhile!
I'd certainly agree about the interior, and I've since learned that almost every single diverse reviewer I've watched agrees about the Ram interior. I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on the Cummins/Powerstroke/Duramax debate.
When JD is talking about tires, the service toad he is on, the company I work for did the drill work for the new water line through there a few years back. How wild!
We mentioned our first aid kit in this video amzn.to/2EOvFQn

It's a shame that the stupid manufacturer couldn't just use a standard size for the lug nuts. >:-(
Rationalizing a big man toy purchase is an art you have mastered. Brakes, turning radius, better gearing ... i got such a chuckle...
The rationalizing was the best part of the whole video.

So happy for you all. We can’t wait to see where this new addition to the adventure takes you!

Love watching JD’s channel, he helped me buy our truck. I swear he’s Tony Stewart because you never see JD and he sounds just like him! Awesome truck!
For Tish's sake that better be an adorable pupppy!

Can’t wait to see the pup!
Omg I can't wait for next Sunday I need a bonus video for the rig reveal
@@chayabrody722 Thanks, now I don't have to watch this video because I was only interested when they said "dog." Don't really care about the new truck.
Turning is dynamite.....vibration with the wheels is taken care of using bee bee tire weights. Love them.
Man! I don’t know if I’m more jealous of the truck or getting to talk trucks with JD!
👍
Every time I’ve shopped for a new vehicle and the salesman finally says “OK, we have a deal”, I immediately think “Damn, I just got screwed!”
That’s exactly how I feel! Omg!!
One point. Marc said no one leaves a dealership feeling good. Wrong the dealer always feels great!
That's true.
Spot on Mr. Utah....Spot on!
Just know that not all Dealers are like that, I have a great Chevy dealership at Home. I have been in those other places a in the past and stayed, but now to old to put up with that crap, will just walk out.
@@troyr57 The best bargaining chip you have is the willingness to walk away.
Congratulations on your new truck! You are going to love the Dually over the single wheel. The difference in towing is unbelievable especially if y’all purchase that fifth wheeler. ENJOY!!!
Never underestimate the infinite uses of a good Dora Bandaid.😂
I have Star Wars bandaids in my kit. Then again, most of my boo boos happen at Science Fiction Conventions.
Wow. To think back where you started. Very happy for you all
I've never been so happy to be jealous and envious! Such an awesome truck. Congratulations you guys!
Oh my gosh that OFFICE clip though! Love your sense of humor Carson! 😂😂😂
You must be getting a Fifth Wheel!!! Your F450 has no sunroof aww. Congrats on the F450!
Very nice truck. You can get the sunroofs on the Lariat and Platinum, but honestly your new home will cover that most of the time. You must have some “Tim the Tool Man” moments in your life! Glad Trish likes it too!
Love Marc's game face in negotiations!
So awesome to get advice from JD I want his channel also! Congrats on the awesome new rig!
I'm so glad we saw this. Good timing :) That's great to hear and well deserved. Your tour is great!
Just bought a 2019 f450 last week too. Black on black. Vroom vroom Waiting for my b&w hitch base to arrive so I can start pulling my 5th wheel
Congrats. We installed the B&W companion in the OEM puck system. So nice.
@@KeepYourDaydream Mine gets delivered tomorrow, I am reusing the head unit from my old truck, the base was only 429$! to mount into the factory 5th wheel prep from B&W.
I’m a die hard Ram guy, but the 450’s do look cool! Congrats, can’t wait to see the new trailer.
You two!!! LOL! I saw the video with BTBRV and I LOVE his channel as well as yours and the most informative!!!! I am looking forward to your new pup!
Love Trish's expressions at the negotiating table!
Or lack there of... ;)
I was looking forward to this video all week. I’m also in the market for a dually and had not considered F-450’s. Lots of good information and great video!
Should get the new Silverado 4500 with a front tilt hood, it's basically a tiny semi. Plus the Alisan Transmission that will last a life time.
Thank you for the all the info on the F-450. It was very helpful in my decision making to get one. As always you guys are so very helpful. Thanks!
Its amazing how much those kids (young men) have matured in just over a year!
Chilidog ikr like 16 months
I remember making a comment when you bought the last truck and I knew youd need more truck immediately. Glad to see someone take the tow ratings seriously taking into account payload, etc.
And my two favorite RV UA-camrs collaborate! I like it, and we agreeeeeee on that F450 dream truck to pull our future Mobile Suites DRV.
This is my dream collab! I found KYD through Big Truck Big RV so this was truly amazing to watch!
I was laughing so hard and long😂😂😂
Bells and whistles for true practicality, well worth it.
Cause you GOTTA name your new 5th wheel that you've been dying to get for many episodes now....
"King Ginger the Vth"
That's a good name.
The F450 with Adaptive Steering Technology is the Best!!!!!!!!
Quite a change from the f150 and original Ginger you had when I first started following you! Congratulations!
Watch JD religiously. He is fantastic with his research and common sense information.
Welcome to the F-450 family!!! I have 2019 in Magma Red and I absolutely love it. Enjoy!
PS love the calaberation with BTBRV...two of my very top enjoyable subscriptions
I love the big rig guy. Y’all are really moving up. Congrats
nice, you will love it. I have a 2018 F350 King Ranch long Bed but I got the SRW it rides better that my 2001 F250 V10
Very exciting!! Love JD, been watching him for a long time, but love you guys way more, way way more ;) Can’t wait for next week!
How did you guys manage breaking it in before towing? Most trucks require 1000km to 1500km before you should tow with it.
"Drive your new vehicle at least 1000 mi (1,600 km) before towing a trailer." That is straight out of the 2019 Ford F450 owner's manual.
Nice ride now the nice RV ride.
I like how you mentioned the new dog to Trisha, good diversion. 😆
Keep the rubber on the road.
Epic Sunday evening, I find out my two favourite UA-cam channels are having a crossover episode!
I so love JD! Even though I never see his face!
I was happy to see a crossover with BTBRV and KYD
Uplift Switches... Most ford truck are prewired for the uplift switches. On the 2019 F450 I think the switch mounted on the center dash just to the right of the trailer break control. Ford's Part Number is HC32-13D730-AA. The MSRP is $67.18 for the switch assemble. All you have to do is pop out the panel on your dash beside the trailer break control, find the wiring plug under the dash and connect the switch assemble to the wire then plug the assemble into the dash... Air Horn Here You Come!!!
JD rocks...such a bank of Big Truck Big RV knowledge.
Loved this episode. I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and started to binge watch it. Like the way how you produce content. Very entertaining. Keep going!
Welcome!
Put Sulastic shackles on the leaf springs to smooth out the ride. JD made a video about them.
More videos please!!!! In love when the bell rings... Lol. Great vlog!
Congrats on your new truck! Looks like a BEAST!
So since you got your F450 will Trish's new puppy be in the video when you get the new trailer?
Congratulations! Always fun to get a new ride.
Wow! Quite the upgrade! You would be able to tow an actual house with that truck. Haha...Nice wheels. Good for you guys!
2020 will Ford offer a KYD Edition F450?
Loved how he quoted Dwight. Also I have a 2017 F450 King Ranch that I tow my toy hauler with and it is a bit smoother ride while towing. First upgrades I am going to do with it though is add airbags and upgrade to 20" rims since 19.5" is an awkward size and 20" is more common and easier to find tires for.
JD the Master Yoda of trucks!
Congratulations on the new truck! It's always bittersweet to let a good one go, especially when it's taken you on as many adventures as your F250 did. Big pill to swallow, but it'll be worthwhile!
Should have looked at the Ram. Better tow capacity and better engine. Plus a much better interior.
Paul Clement that’s your opinion
I'd certainly agree about the interior, and I've since learned that almost every single diverse reviewer I've watched agrees about the Ram interior. I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on the Cummins/Powerstroke/Duramax debate.
Ford is the truck Boss!
I have to agree
When JD is talking about tires, the service toad he is on, the company I work for did the drill work for the new water line through there a few years back. How wild!
