I got my first DAC with the perforated cover sheet, which is a good idea, however, the cover sheet is slightly tilted. So as I work my way across a row, suddenly there is a cover sheet crossing the row I'm working on. It's just a minor thing, but I'm over halfway done and it's really starting to annoy me, I have to lift the cover sheet to get the drills under it, to stay on the row, lol. Because the person you talked to is not a stocker. I once called a craft store to ask about embroidery floss. The person that answered the phone was new and said I don't think we sell embrodered floss. I heard someone in the background say hand me the phone. They said they did sell exactly what I was looking for and said the new person would get a tour of the store.
Usually, even on websites that aren't designed to open web pages on a new tab, you can force it by right-clicking and choosing the "Open in New Tab" option. (On mobile devices, you should be able to press and hold, and the context menu will popup with that option.)
This is what I do, and it doesn’t work with some websites. I’m forced to left click on the item to look at any details, and then I have to start from the beginning again if I want to go back and look at other items. Thanks for watching!!
So agree with #4! And the tips. I bought a pen with metal tips. But the metal tips are thicker than the pink pens. So sometimes when I’m trying to place, it slightly moves another drill out of place. Maddening. But the biggest problem I have is being able to select the right size frame. If I have a 30x40cm canvas, I want a frame with a mat that will allow me to put the whole canvas in the frame, have the border and not cover up the painting. I just did a DiamondXpress painting and thought I bought the right size frame. But I had to cut the edges off and the mat won’t work with it. So I have this black wood frame and the painting really needs a mat to let it stand out. SO FRUSTRATING! So I measure just the Diamond drill part and it’s not a standard size. Will the mat cover part of it up? I’m tempted to spend $120 on a mat cutting system, but I’m afraid I’ll make too many mistakes and waste even more money. 🙄
It can be very frustrating to frame, since the US uses inches and kits are typically in cm. I usually measure the drill field, then add 1/2" (1/4" for each side) to my measurements to order a frame. Custom sizes aren't cheap though, so yep, it's a bit of pain. Thanks for watching!!
I have a smaller light pad so I rotate my painting as I go. Sometimes it is sideways, sometimes upside down, it works for me. If you hold down CTRL when you click on something, it opens in a new tab.
Firstly I love your videos a lot. My biggest annoyance is when you spend more time removing trash drills from your tray than painting. I had a kit from a well known company to find at least a quarter of the 310 was of really poor quality. Keep up the good work with your informative videos. X
I'm an easily triggered person. But nothing gets to me as when I keep putting away a color then find that I missed drills. Sometimes this happens multiple times for the same color andnit drives me bonkerssss 😂
Yes! Scrolling thru all those kits and then having to restart is awful. I open a new tab and search that specific kit to look at it so I dont lose my spot on my scrolling page.
I hate when the drills are " dusty ' I have to clean out the wax on my pen and re-fill it so often because it gets dirty and wont hold ( or pick up ) the drills.
My number 1 annoyance is not having enough drills in the kits. Sometimes I can find similar colours in my left overs from other kits which is sort of ok. I also rotate my kits if they are large and feel that this is the only way for me to do them. It's not for everyone but is for me x
One thing that bugs me is when a pre-cut sticker sheet is provided (love that) but the labels are so wide that I have to cut them still to fit on my bottles. And totally with you on the pen tips!!
I think your top 5 pretty much sums it up..I do hate when symbols are confusing. I totally agree with the website issue, it makes it very difficult to shop..❤❤❤
Omg I’ve just bought a large painting of Lily of the Valley in a vase. The B’s and 8’s, to name a couple are sooo hard to differentiate. I have a mag lamp I have to use to see what’s what. It’s hilarious watching me from an outside perspective. A flat lamp under my canvas, a mag lamp plus another lamp. My eyesight is rubbish to say the least but surely they can make symbols easier to read? Thank you for your great video.
I agree that some of the websites are super frustrating to navigate. I think they could offer the tool kits for a nominal fee. I started with a Diamond Dotz kit, which has a better tray, and then I discovered the green trays😮 I do rotate my canvases. I find that the custom trays do not work well with rhinestones. They get stuck in the grooves. I am currently working on a rhinstone canvas.
Diamond painting is my passion, despite a few problems with it. These problems resenate with me only. Problem #1: When you are putting down the diamonds on your project then realized you're using the wrong color or on the wrong symbol, especially when you don't remember which one or where. Problem #2: Accidentally mixing up your diamonds where you have to sort them out. Problem #3: Dust particles, hair, anything dirt related getting onto your canvas. Problem #4: Spilling your diamonds all over the place. Problem #5: Being focused on your diamond art project that you forget what else you need to do. Problem #6: Unable to stop buying or receiving diamond paintings since it's the lack of your own control. Problem #7: Having to change your wax because it dries out where the diamonds won't pick up. Problem #8: Probably not an issue for everyone, making sure not to get the same diamond painting you already did. Problem #9: Your canvas if it's a large one sliding off the table, only to end up using tape to keep it from moving. Problem #10: Finishing up a partial drill diamond painting where someone says you aren't finished then have to explain it to them why it's called a partial drill painting. Problem #11: Too big of a diamond painting not fitting in your storage with the rest of your finished projects only to fold it in half to put it away. Problem #12: If you have, let's say a cat, bugging you nonstop while doing a diamond painting.
Hello, I’m your 287th Thumbs up. I’m New here watching & joining your UA-cam Channel/family. I’m New to Diamond Painting & just finishing my first big canvas, I started small with Magnets & Stickers. How do you seal & frame yours? Do you have videos showing you doing the process? True about the extra pens and all in every kit, but that’s only good for your first diamond painting. I do the same thing is have my canvas in all different directions I need due to my space & easier placing. I’m still too New to understand about the codes. I know I’ll learn along the way. I’m sure they’ll change things down the road. I enjoy when you laugh. Great Share of information. Hoping to connect. Enjoy your Weekend. 😊😊😊Sharon in SC
I normally start with my paintings upside down too. I also don't have much space to work in and also keep most of my diamond painting accessories on the table too (most in a little 7 drawer thing I got from michaels) and the container with my drills in it. I don't like having the canvas in my lap and not sure how I feel about rolling it. The one I'm working on right now I did roll the part I have already put the drills on but I'm not sure how I feel about it. its nice having it out of the way but yeah! Almost finished with the painting I'm working on! Took a while because I took a break from diamond painting for a little while to work on a crochet blanket! The kit I'm doing right now is a mystery horror DAC by Christopher Lovell!
Pen tip issue. I found out from most of the well known custom pen turners, you have to specify in the notes of your custom order to make them in the DAC tip size. I agree with the rest.
I'm pretty new to DP, but 1 thing that is annoying is symbols that look VERY similar, e.g. the kit I'm working on now has a zero and the letter O...isn't that fun! Fortunately the colors are different enough to figure it out. BTW: I love your channel. Thank you.
Hi Daphne, what bothers me the most is the symbols. I am working on DAC Golden Cocker Spaniel. There are two symbols ( so far) which are similar. One is the hastag and a Greek math symbol( think the for the Lincoln cars). They are so similar I have to use a magnetising glass to see the difference. Also similar symbols with close colors. Those are my issues. Does the Pet one have to be a new one?
Thought of one as I’m working on my Diamond painting and binge watching your videos. When the symbol on the painting is a number but it’s not the same number as the number the drill is if that makes sense. Like on this painting I’m doing, symbol 1 is also color 1, symbol 2 is color 2, so you’d think symbol 3 would be color 3 right?? Nope, symbol 3 is color 27. It’s probably just me that finds it annoying but still. It’s a dac painting. I’m still gonna enjoy working on it!!
Some budget kits have horrible adhesion. The wax on budget kits. Number of drills which you mentioned. Canvas that comes rolled but will not lay flat. Other than that, I love diamond painting.
The only peeve that I have that you didn’t mention is when you order a canvas that says it is 30 x 40 cms, but the entire canvas is that size. Usually there is about 5 cms of border on each side. I just did a canvas that the drill field was the stated size, but only one side had a 5 cm border; the other sides were only 1 cm! (and this was NOT a budget company!). Those wee borders irked the heck out of me as I was trying to attach it to my light board up on its stand!
I just started doing my diamond painting but main two are one the diamond not getting picked up by the pen. And also me knocking over my tray of drills. Another one is finding diamonds everywhere. I can’t tell you how many I have waking up and gone to bathroom to find diamonds embedded on my arms and legs. Then I looking like how did not notice before or feel it. It like they be hiding or something. I can say do to my eye condition I can’t see much of anything from my left eye and right eye is better just so I don’t strain too much I ordered myself a magnifying glass to be able to see the canvas more easily and clearer.
Magnifying glasses can certainly help with seeing those tiny symbols! I think most diamond painters find drills in crazy places - I’ve found them in my bed before! 😂 Thanks for watching!!
You can force each thing to open in a new tab -- at least, you can in most Windows browsers. Right click on the link that takes you to the item page, then select "Open in New Tab". You can even open it in a new window if you choose. It's a lifesaver.
Non optional tool kits are extremely annoying for me I don't have time to donate things and all this waste just drives me crazy every time. Even coverminders and washi. I mean how much of those do we actually need?
Im new to DP. Completed 3 mid size so far. I agree with all 5 points you made but my number one is when placing AB drills on the canvas the putty comes off. I've found using a nail gem placer is helpful but still happens at times. Any recommendations?
@@rosedwyer9169 I use my Pretty Placer to place ABs. I’ve also seen that dampening your pen/wax/putty slightly with a damp rag or cloth can keep the ABs from sticking. Thanks for watching!!
I'm a cross stitcher trying my first diamond painting, and I agree with the similar symbol thing! I don't have issue with cross stitching, because I use pattern keeper and I can highlight in the app all the stitches of the same color. With diamond painting, I want to scan the area for the symbol of my current color and similar symbol makes this difficult. It is easy to miss a symbol and having to pick up again the color, ... I now better understand why cross stitching patterns mostly use symbols, and not numbers and letters only. My current pattern is numbers and letters... when I'm trying to scan for 8 in an ocean of 3 and B, it gets so frustrating! I wish these were classical cross stitch symbols. ^^"
I agree with the symbols and the drill tools but at the moment I am still new to this craft. But I am drawn to the pens you have shown I may have to treat myself possibly after New Year 2025 wow
When you see on UA-cam someone got on sale DP’s (hobby lobby chain stores) you travel 1 1/2 miles & your HL does NOT have them on sale. You talk to a manager & they say we don’t have the sale sheet yet so keep checking back. Sorry
I have to travel 1/2 hour each way to all 3 Hobby Lobbys. None are close. Mine haven’t started marking down the latest items I’ve seen on UA-cam videos.
I’m new to diamond painting. Why does your canvas make that satisfying sound when you add a diamond. I bought one from diamond art club & it doesn’t make that noise 😕
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymousthat is brilliant. I’m relatively new to this addictive craft. I’m binging your videos as I get a mani/pedi. Great info. Thank you.
Hi Daphne. I had the kit from hell when kitting up on Saturday. They had tiny little bags instead if larger bags with four colours missing! Yikes. I wish that I could diamond paint with less pain. I use a lap tray that's got an easel. I love diamond painting but suffer with a lot of pain so I would do more if I could. Overall I love diamond painting. It gives me so much joy. It was a great video. ❤💕🌸
I also have limited space on my work surface so I rotate my canvas. I agree it is annoying matching the symbols. Even when the canvas is right side up, it can be difficult. Example - a star or asterisk or dot. a 1 or l lower case L - not always clear depending on how small it is or the colors in the background.
Yes, the super-annoying similar symbols! When you pulled out those triangles, I immediately started to grin, because they drive me crazy, too! And the squares are even worse! And yes, I too find it annoying that you always get those cheap tool kits. I mean, most orders are by repeat costumers, so the majority wouldn't need yet another plasticy tool kit (especially when you prefer using the nicer custom pens and steel placers, like you and me and thousands of other diamond painters). One other thing that annoys me which you didn't mention: I see a nice DP and I really want to have it and buy it because I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get it later, because it sold out (yes, that actually has happened!), but still not having finished my current DP and already having more DPs that are waiting to be done. I think there are quite a few diamond painters out there who do that, too. That was my second most annoying thing. My number one annoyance is when shops advertise that diamond painting was for people who couldn't draw or paint. That is nonsense. Pretty much everybody who can learn how to write can learn how to draw. It is just two different things. It is as if you said that driving a car was for people who couldn't ride a bike. I love drawing and painting and do that daily, but I also love diamond painting. The advantage of DP over "real" drawing/painting is that you can relax more and listen to for example an audiobook while creating something big and beautiful. And the DPs I do are a completely different style than my own paintings, even though I enjoy both very much. For example: Earth Angel by Josephine Wall: huge and beautiful! While I do my own art mostly in sketchbooks.
Both the website thing and the symbols are felt. For the symbols it might be easiers if they separated the similar ones to vastly different colours, that would make it clearer I think. The others are things I haven't been thinking about yet or encountered, but can totally understand.
My pet peeve is getting a diamond painting kit with the itty-bitty bags of 200 count drills. I just had two to kit up and that was annoying. I've become spoiled by the premium companies that provide drills in the heat-sealed trains or in mini Ziploc bags.
Just an FYI for everyone shimmering canvases she sells Diamond painting pens and also gives the option to have them converted to either DAC screw-on tips or Amazon screw-on tips for an extra $2 I do believe don't quote me on that I recently ordered one and screwed in my DAC tip and it worked perfectly
Mine is when you spill the drills and the glue on the outside then the drills get stuck there wlso when the drills get to be 2 diffrent folors in the smae bag and ur just trying to figure out wich is the right color.
@@BKesq96 Since the kits are made in China, I’m assuming that’s why the measurements are in cm. Some of the premium companies are starting to include measurements in inches, but they are often weird sizes because of the conversion from metric. Thanks for watching!!
I am also a tab girl, with sites that won't let me add things to my cart then weed it out from there into "save for later", "delete" and "hit my credit card". 😹
I don’t use the legend. Once I’ve kitted up my drills, I paint using the symbols, so I don’t need to refer to the legend. But if space is limited and you needed to, I can’t see why it would matter.
Inconsistent colors. I don't know how many colors I've tried to pair up only to find that they are not the same. I've decided that I'm just going to bag everything up in baggies; if they don't match they'll simply get separate bags. But, still.😵
@@beverleybee1309 I’m too lazy to separate the colors and it makes way too many bags! 😂 Even within the same companies the drills can vary in shade from kit to kit. Thanks for watching!!
Hi Daphne, good afternoon from Southern California. I have no problem with the Diamond paintings, it is finding a better way to store kits I have yet to work on. Since I spent 12 years working in Corragatee, I am looking for Coragated boxes I can put my unstarted kits in, and my WIPS. I have looked everywhere, but found nothing.
They are still in their boxes, but they are everywhere high up in my walk-in-closet. I want them all in their organically boxes in larger on the floor. Hey, I live in Southern California. Enough said
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous I looked it up, I found this, I hope it works. God knows I can't live without using it! "The Macintosh offers a key labeled Control (or, on laptops, “ctrl”), but it isn’t the equivalent of the PC’s Ctrl key. The Mac’s Control key is primarily for helping you “right-click” things, as described earlier. Instead, the Macintosh equivalent of the Windows Ctrl key is the ⌘ key. It’s right next to the space bar. It’s pronounced “command,” although novices can often be heard calling it the “pretzel key,” “Apple key,” or “clover key.” Most Windows Ctrl-key combos correspond perfectly to ⌘-key sequences on the Mac.
I prefer the metal ones. I am a heavy placer and the plastic ones get bent out of shape and deformed after just a few hours of using them. Thanks for watching!!
But anyhow we are addicted and LOVE DP 😄 I liked to know how many colours are there before I order a kit, but they newer tell me that.! I like large and challenging pictures. And one thing is why they tell the size of whole canvas, not the diamont area, Well, now I know it's alway 5 cm less, I started about 2 months ago.
I bought pens from amazon that had there own tips but when they screwed in they just go round and round and don't totally screw in. I am 72 and my trusty magnifying glass is always close by.😂
The symbols irritate me too. Why can't they at least symbols we are more familiar with ie: capitol/lower case alphabet, numbers, and maybe KEYBOARD symbols (+×÷=/- < >[ ]!@#$%&*^~{ }€£¥₩♤♡◇♧☆).
I have a rule here for myself and my grandkids…OCD I guess. one Diamond painting at a time for each of us. My 4 year old grandson just finished his first sticker that he did by himself. Mind you that it is a harder challenge for him because he is left handed. I do have a large cross stitch project going also.
I think you are missing one diamond in your previous section. 5th row from the bottom and I think sign is a hand but it is hard to see because of the light reflection
Number 5 for sure. I don’t even waste my time on those sights with 3500 pages anymore. My number one gripe is gapping. Holy light pad batman, why is gapping even a thing? Grrrrr🤬 Great video! Loved it! You’re a great presenter and you state your position very well. I could make a top 5 list of annoying things UA-camrs do but you would not be on that list 😘😘🥰
Your J Wall is coming along nicely! I’m surprised you didn’t include guide circles. It’s funny how some people are irritated that you turn your canvas. I can probably count on one hand the number of canvases I’ve worked the right way up. Probably the number is 0, if I’m honest.
For me it's dropping drills! I had to start using an easel this winter because diamond painting was giving me tennis elbow. That means that drills that don't stick well enough to the pen wind up on the ground now. I switched back to wax from putty and it's better. Putty dries out too much too quickly and I can't get glue dots to stay in the tips; they want to stick to the drills instead.
I am with you on the tool kit thing. If companies like DAC must include the kits, they should include a prepaid envelope so we can send them back. I love this craft but I really feel guilty about all the plastic waste it generates.

Omg Daphne you nailed it with the symbols! I recently messed up my painting because of that!
It’s easy to do if the symbols are confusing. Thanks for watching!!
Great video and all valid annoyances!!!
Thanks for watching!!
Number 4 is my pet peeve also. I had at least a hundred of those accessories at one time.
I have a smaller light pad so I rotate my painting as I go. Sometimes it is sideways, sometimes upside down, it works for me. If you hold down CTRL when you click on something, it opens in a new tab.
I'll have to see if that tricks works on Mac! Thanks for watching!!
❤ totally agree with all of that. Omg to green trays and pink pens are the worst thing about diamond painting. 💎
They are so tiny! Thanks for watching!!
Firstly I love your videos a lot. My biggest annoyance is when you spend more time removing trash drills from your tray than painting. I had a kit from a well known company to find at least a quarter of the 310 was of really poor quality. Keep up the good work with your informative videos. X
Yes! I want to spend my time diamond painting, not sorting drills! Thanks for sharing!!
I'm an easily triggered person. But nothing gets to me as when I keep putting away a color then find that I missed drills. Sometimes this happens multiple times for the same color andnit drives me bonkerssss 😂
Me too! It’s a struggle not to just keep reopening the bottle til I’m sure I got them all!!
Lol I get this all the time. I have OCD too and must finish this single drill right away xxx
Yes! Scrolling thru all those kits and then having to restart is awful. I open a new tab and search that specific kit to look at it so I dont lose my spot on my scrolling page.
@@kaylacarroll627 Same! Thanks for watching!!
Whatever works for you is great!!
One thing that bugs me is when a pre-cut sticker sheet is provided (love that) but the labels are so wide that I have to cut them still to fit on my bottles. And totally with you on the pen tips!!
Yep, absolutely love having the pre cut stickers but having to cut them down is annoying! Thanks for sharing!
I totally agree with 4 and 5!😊. Oh and restocks that sell out in less than an hour
Oh ouch. Thanks for watching!!
You can right-click on those items and choose "open in new tab" for an option.
I think your top 5 pretty much sums it up..I do hate when symbols are confusing. I totally agree with the website issue, it makes it very difficult to shop..❤❤❤
Confusing symbols are the worst! Thanks for watching!!
@@begorgeous2394 Oof, that’s rough. It would be nice if they thought of the possible confusion as they were charting. Thanks for watching!!
My diamond painting I am working on now is color coded with the symbols. It still is a little challenging at times.
Confusing symbols are the worst! Thanks for watching!!
I agree that some of the websites are super frustrating to navigate.
I think they could offer the tool kits for a nominal fee. I started with a Diamond Dotz kit, which has a better tray, and then I discovered the green trays😮
I do rotate my canvases.
I find that the custom trays do not work well with rhinestones. They get stuck in the grooves. I am currently working on a rhinstone canvas.
The rhinestones are slightly larger than regular drills, I find. Thanks for watching!!

I’m lucky enough to be able to spread out for my crafting, though that may change when we move! Thanks for watching!!
Pen tip issue. I found out from most of the well known custom pen turners, you have to specify in the notes of your custom order to make them in the DAC tip size. I agree with the rest.
Oh, good to know!!
dp has saved me. i would love to get a dimond art club panting but the chost is just to much, sadly prising of kitts anoy me.
I totally agree with your number 1 annoyance. Kits with 8 and B also cause me issues
Ugh, yes! Thanks for watching!!
I'm pretty new to DP, but 1 thing that is annoying is symbols that look VERY similar, e.g. the kit I'm working on now has a zero and the letter O...isn't that fun! Fortunately the colors are different enough to figure it out.
BTW: I love your channel. Thank you.
It is super frustrating - I need a microscope sometimes to see the difference between symbols! Thanks for watching!!
It does need to be a new start.
I know exactly what you mean! Yes, so annoying!
Some budget kits have horrible adhesion. The wax on budget kits. Number of drills which you mentioned. Canvas that comes rolled but will not lay flat. Other than that, I love diamond painting.
Canvases that won't flatten are so hard to work with! Thanks for watching!!
Oh, wow, I’ve not run into that before!! Thanks for sharing!!
Right click to open tab in background or new wind.. right click for options
This is what I prefer to do, but there are many websites where right clicking does not work to open a new tab. Thanks for watching!!
I would love to be able to pick a size that shows the small parts [ like birds or flowers] cleaner
I agree with all of these and I'm a newbie 😂😂
Omg! I so agree on pen tips! I have so many tips that Idk what fits which pens. It’s frustrating. I end up just using the same pen & tip all the time.

All the symbols can be overwhelming at first, but it gets better as you work. Thanks for watching!!
I am waiting for a huge JGS painting, and am getting slightly terrified about the symbols. 😬
Non optional tool kits are extremely annoying for me
I don't have time to donate things and all this waste just drives me crazy every time. Even coverminders and washi. I mean how much of those do we actually need?
Would definitely love to skip all the extras I end up donating/trashing. Thanks for sharing!!

Things like what kind of wax to use on the canvas and drills.
I’m new to diamond painting. Why does your canvas make that satisfying sound when you add a diamond. I bought one from diamond art club & it doesn’t make that noise 😕

Oof, I hate the small bags - it takes forever to kit up! Thanks for watching!!
Thanks. I'll try that
Yep the symbols i aint kidding i got 50cm×140cm one and they but 1.S and 2.s thank god it way different colours.
Plus yea the tools kits are Annoying
Or when the symbol for #1 is 2, #2 is 3, etc. Why not just make #1 - 1, #2 -2, etc.? Thanks for sharing!!
I also have limited space on my work surface so I rotate my canvas. I agree it is annoying matching the symbols. Even when the canvas is right side up, it can be difficult. Example - a star or asterisk or dot. a 1 or l lower case L - not always clear depending on how small it is or the colors in the background.
Absolutely - and what is clear on the stickers can be tricky tell apart on the canvas! Thanks for watching!!
You can hold ctrl when you click the item and it will open in a new tab
@@anjapinkau3737 I would love if you had the option to not get a took kit when you order. Thanks for watching!!
Both the website thing and the symbols are felt. For the symbols it might be easiers if they separated the similar ones to vastly different colours, that would make it clearer I think.
The others are things I haven't been thinking about yet or encountered, but can totally understand.
@@Alcminuialwen Thanks for watching!!
My pet peeve is getting a diamond painting kit with the itty-bitty bags of 200 count drills. I just had two to kit up and that was annoying. I've become spoiled by the premium companies that provide drills in the heat-sealed trains or in mini Ziploc bags.
I don’t like the small drill bags either - it takes forever to open them all and kit up a project!! Thanks for sharing!!
I hate it when l have a section on the canvas thats so faded out and l can't see the symbol.

Tips frustrate me too! Whete is your multiplacer from in this video? I just ordered DAC tips
That multiplacer is from Everlasting Tips on Etsy - I love her tips for rounds! Thanks for watching!!
One of my (newbie) complaints is the sizing. Companies need to show inches as well as centimeters

Do you ever cut the legend out and clip it to the middle of the painting rather than having to peek at it when there is no space?is it a good idea?
I don’t use the legend. Once I’ve kitted up my drills, I paint using the symbols, so I don’t need to refer to the legend. But if space is limited and you needed to, I can’t see why it would matter.
That’s so smart to put the drill container lid upside down when working upside down 💡
It doesn’t take much to confuse me! Thanks for watching!!
I just leave mine in the box until I’m ready to work on them!
They are still in their boxes, but they are everywhere high up in my walk-in-closet. I want them all in their organically boxes in larger on the floor. Hey, I live in Southern California. Enough said
On a windows device, hold the Ctrl button and left click on the kit link. It will open in a new tab 😊
I wonder if there is trick for Mac?
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous
I looked it up, I found this, I hope it works.
It’s pronounced “command,” although novices can often be heard calling it the “pretzel key,” “Apple key,” or “clover key.”
Most Windows Ctrl-key combos correspond perfectly to ⌘-key sequences on the Mac.
Trying to find frames to fit larger canvases drives me crazy 🤪. PS…I always rotate my canvases and container lids to match. 😊
Rotating my lids to how I have my canvas oriented makes it so much less confusing! Thanks for watching!!
Are the metal multiplacer better than the plastic? Does it make a difference?
I prefer the metal ones. I am a heavy placer and the plastic ones get bent out of shape and deformed after just a few hours of using them. Thanks for watching!!
I greatly prefer the metal ones. They tend to be slimmer and don't bend.
Some companies do give the actual drill field size, but not all. Thanks for watching!!
I bought pens from amazon that had there own tips but when they screwed in they just go round and round and don't totally screw in. I am 72 and my trusty magnifying glass is always close by.😂
I've not had good luck with the screw-in tips either. Thanks for watching!!

I have a rule here for myself and my grandkids…OCD I guess. one Diamond painting at a time for each of us. My 4 year old grandson just finished his first sticker that he did by himself. What are you using in your single-placer to get that awesome pop??

I’m surprised you didn’t include guide circles.
It’s funny how some people are irritated that you turn your canvas. I can probably count on one hand the number of canvases I’ve worked the right way up. Probably the number is 0, if I’m honest.
I forgot about guide circles! They are annoying. Thanks for sharing!!
I am on a break from it. I got burned out. I will feturn to it eventually
I am constantly vacuuming under workspace to collect dropped drills! 😂
I wish ALL the DP kit makers started with numbers first. Like 1 thru 8 were for the same symbol 1 thru 8.
I wonder how they decide? And why change the DMC associated with a symbol? Why not the same every time?
If you ever want to donate anything to a school please let me know how much it would be to ship, I am a middle school teacher in inner city Oakland
