+Twili Vaati Here's from Bulbapedia: Six years after Primal Dialga's introduction, Primal Reversion was announced, with the Pokémon who have used Primal Reversion being identified by the word "Primal" in front of their names, like Primal Dialga. 4:09 My heart drops into my stomach. Holy crap the feels. Sounds like you are actually battling to save the space-time continuum just by listening to it.
Wow. Has it really been almost 9 & a half years now since this came out? I still remember watching this during the month after it came out. Back, when I was out to visit my uncle's workplace when I was 12 and thought this was an insanely fantastic remix. Six more months and it will be a decade since this song came out. Man the expression "time really flew" is an understatement, well I can say that it was a time that I will always hold with child full glee.
I remember listening to this way back in 5th grade, and feeling super moved by this song, especially after I had beaten the game (and sobbed). I'm 22 now, and it still moves me. This song, ironically, is timeless
@Squid-force dont be so sure cause i have adquired after months of search underground the key to activate the ultimate mech of destruccion the Super Tengen toppa gurren laggan, it has a height of 1.5 octilion meters and its main weapon the giga drill its 15 octilion meters long, you know how big is that? The observable universe is around the septilion mark, with this ultimate weapon nothing can stop me!!! MUAJAJAJA. Now seriosly you have lost this imaginary battle XD
It's just too bad they didn't make more PMD's like this. This story (Explorer's of Time, Darkness, and Sky) had the most fleshed out characters, the most dramatic storylines, the most challenging enemies, and of course the most beautiful music of the pokemon series. It felt more engaging to actually be the pokemon instead of just commanding them.
So damn true words... Even if i liked the 3DS one too, Sky was and is still my fave game over ALL! ... No game can match this one in the RPG Series... No single one (my opinion)
God damn this song brings me back, the old Mario kart wii days, the Pokemon diamond and pearl days, the "golden days" as I like to call it. The days where Nintendo truly made an impact on me when I played their games. This remix is just as good maybe better 7 years later. I've never felt so nostalgic in my life. This song gets me a little sad and emotional that those days are over. I still love it though.
This reimagining of Primal Dialga’s battle theme takes an already amazing song and expands it to six and a half minutes of cinematic beauty that, to me, perfectly expresses the stakes and feeling of this fight at the climax of one of the best Pokémon games. It still holds up over a decade later.
I wouldn't say they're the absolute Soul of a game's conflict but I do think they are an integral part. Games that lack a final boss such as Mass Effect 3 lack that feeling of accomplishment. In my opinion the Soul of video game conflict is the journey you take as it is the players own choice as to how they play. Because in an almost literal sense it is the players journey.
The final battle, that's what this song reminds me of, the point where you HAVE to win for the world, you HAVE to fight with every ounce of strength in your body, too continue fighting for as long as you can possibly draw breath, knowing that everyone's life hangs on your shoulders, knowing that no matter the hardships, no matter the blood taken from you, no matter how many blows you've sustained, you must continue fighting for everyone, your friends, family, and people you've never even met, knowing what you do on this day, will change the course of history, not only for you, for everything.
***** that made me freaking cry man, I remember playing explorers of sky, the Grovyle and Igglybuff episodes made me bawl my eyes ought, I was legitimately sad from those stories, I was tearing up, crying, and just sad. Yes, for the one who gave life and limb to help us succeed.
"In order to protect this world, my comrades, the Obito of the past, the current Naruto... I'll kill the current Obito!" Is what this comment reminded me of. Beautiful paragraph for a beautiful soundtrack.
Best pokemon game ever case closed. The mainstream games especially pokemon go can't hope to have such good story and emotions compared to this masterpiece of a game. Any arguments will get destroyed by roar of time.
Agreed. Black and White were the only games even close to reaching it's brilliance. The other games either try and fail, or succeed based on their adventurous energy.
TSonicBoom Plays The first ones eclipsed the sequels in terms if story. The sequels have great gameplay, but the story is just a bit too cookie cutter “Pokémon” for me.
Spin offs are actually so much better than the main games. I loved darkness, I loved sky, I loved conquest. I could live my life happy if I could know if they are making new games of the series.
When I hear this, I know the "end" is near, and that scene is right after, but despite that, you feel free. Like your character is intertwined within, and all CS did was let him/her out. I will always love the first three Mystery Dungeons, the story feels like it IS reality, Gates to Infinity, eh, not so much. Pokemon were always there for you as friends, they turned myself from a lonely person, into a being of creativity and imagination, and when I pull this up, I spread my arms, and let myself fall... Because I know everything will end out just fine.... All will end someday, and when that time comes, I won't complain... Life is as good as you can imagine it, so don't worry, and keep a smile on your face... For if it wasn't for you, we'd never have figured it out, and never done anything to fix it... So even when we must part, if you promise to do the same, I'll always remember... But don't let me stop you, there are other things to come... For I may be around the corner, or down the road... I'll always be there... Always...
2018 and It'll still be one of the best game for me. The moment grovyle said "Though the parting hurts...the rest is in your hands" and went to the future with dusknoir made me so emotional. I really like these old school type games.
This whole fight would have been a lot easier if you just brought a Snickers. Primal Dialga: YOU DARE TO BRING RUIN TO THE TOWER!!!! You: here, have a snickers. Better? Dialga (now normal): BETTER. "You're not you when you're hungry. Snickers satisfies".
For those who do not know, there are bits from the OST from the previous PMD games, the Rescue Team series. check out 1:09 of this and try and hear the similarity with the very beginning of Final Battle VS Rayquaza. Not just that, but there is a lot of melodies and armonies that are not in the original and that manage to elevate the song without clashing with it. That's brilliant. and rare. Thank you for this timeless masterpiece.
I never played the game, I just accidentally came across this theme while looking for something to listen to while playing Golden Sun. I beat the last boss at the climax of the song...so epic...
It can put a tear in someone’s eye for your idol to go back to a small channel that they commented on seven years ago, when no-one knew about them, and then use that video along with credit after all that time. Godspeed.
Honestly, this video took the best video game final boss soundtrack and made it twenty times better. Absolutely outstanding, I would absolutely subscribe to this brilliant man in light of just this one video.
It is. Honestly so surreal to be listening to this mix of this song in 2017. Like I first heard of this mix in like...2009 when I read a story where the author specifically referenced this remix of Dialga's Fight to the Finish in the author's notes. I've never played through the Mystery Dungeon games until just recently if I'm being honest. Nearly seven years of hearing this song and I'm finally playing through Explorers of Sky because its one of my best friend's favorite games. And man...even just from this song I can seriously see why
It is. Honestly so surreal to be listening to this mix of this song in 2022. I remember being super into Mystery Dungeon when I was like 13 and I listened to a ton of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon music. I remember somehow finding this remix & it changed my life. I could not stop listening to this ONE song. UA-cam had no way to loop music so I'd manually rewind the video and listen to this track again and again. I listened to this song so many times that I forgot that this was a remix and not in the original games. This was one of the most truly epic Pokemon remixes ever made and it still goes hard. I will always come back to this song and listen to it and just relive those memories. If you are reading this somehow, thank you PokeRemixStudio, this is easily one of the best Pokemon remixes, no, one of the best music remixes of all time.
I can't believe I've never found this Remix before. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky is one of my all-time favorite games, and this song is both wonderfully made and nostalgic to me. Great job PokeRemixStudio, you made my day, and I hope anyone reading has a fabulous day as well! :D
I know!!! That's what makes me even more shocked! :O I really wish I had known about this sooner than 10 YEARS after it was released, lol. I'll definitely be listening to it while I play other games, because it's just too good not to listen to! Is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of the Sky your favorite game, too?
Lovely Leckakay Undoubtfully, I'd say it's one of my favorite video games of all time, right up with the two other titles I'd call "favorite of all time", those being Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and BLiNX: The Time Sweeper. I find Explorers of Sky to have the best soundtrack and story out of this "trio" of favorite games, with BLiNX having the best gameplay & replay value, and TTYD being a good middle ground between all three!
I couldn't agree with you more hun! Best. Music. Hands down. Wow, I thought I was the only one who loved TTYD! I am thrilled to know there's more of us out there! The final boss of that game took me 4 hours to beat, no joke. I was beyond thrilled when I finally beat it, haha. She was so difficult, right? And I've never heard of BLiNX. Is that also a 2D platformer like TTYD, or a top down dungeon crawler like Sky? And when you say best gameplay, do you mean the story? I'm always looking for new games to play, so you've piqued my interest!
BRUH THE NOSTALGIA! I remember finding this years ago! Must have been 2012. What a blast from the past! I actually downloaded all your music from your site over 2 years ago and never listened to any of it. Then the other day my friend showed your site to me and I recognized it. Turns out you uploaded like 15 more remixes since the last time I downloaded everything. Finally listening through everything and I recognized G/S/C Kanto Gym Leader, D/P/P Champion, D/P/P Trainer Battle, and ESPECIALLY THIS! What a timeless remix. It far exceeds the quality of your other remixes imo. Very well done!
Played in 2019. Spent around 20 Revivers on it (Tottodile&Chimchar), recuited it later and made as a leader so no Monster House is a threat anymore. Plus its HP restores pretty quickly.
This was the most epic song to me when I was 13 yeas old. Im 25 now and this song STILL hits me hard even after all of these years. I'm so glad you made this remix, easily one of my favorite Pokemon remixes of all time.
"Glory O' Glory given to one of the Primal Beings, For Judgement is cast down by magnificent splendor, In Creation it was, And in Time it roams, The Overseer of the essence of Time itself, Beware, beware, For he is coming, The master is here, For Dialga is his name, Even Time bows before such majesty, I tell you, I tell you, The Primal Dialga is here!" I dunno?....
Pikachu used an AK - 47 and shredded Primal Dialga now for the ultimate death for the Steel and Dragon Pokemon with a Nazi German Flamethrower and melted the destructive beast and it's genocadally effective! Instakill!
This is the track I've been using for my outros and is actually how I got one of my friends into mystery dungeon purely because of this track. Thank you for your work even after all these years :)

Who else cried in the end of Mystery Dungeon Time/Darkness? When ur main Character leave the pokemon world?
You know...I was younger yes. But it still happened
That game really had the feels.
I totally agree..I finished it again for another time and I couldnt resist even at grovyle farewell...
I think Music does it all
You don't just leave the Pokemon world, you are wiped out of existence. Pretty mature for a Pokemon game

Not deep. I learned that when I could think. Life has No meaning. I just added the rest so people don't kill themselves

I remember listening to this way back in 5th grade, and feeling super moved by this song, especially after I had beaten the game (and sobbed).
I'm 22 now, and it still moves me.
This song, ironically, is timeless
hehehe timeless
that's funny
Dialga was Primal before Hoenn made it cool
Sinnoh best region!!
@Squid-force excuse me, are you talking to me? Im just saying what i think nothing more 🤔
@Squid-force bah, weakling, RYNO MISSIL TO THE FACE!! XD
Is this the marine copypasta?
It's just too bad they didn't make more PMD's like this. This story (Explorer's of Time, Darkness, and Sky) had the most fleshed out characters, the most dramatic storylines, the most challenging enemies, and of course the most beautiful music of the pokemon series. It felt more engaging to actually be the pokemon instead of just commanding them.
So damn true words... Even if i liked the 3DS one too, Sky was and is still my fave game over ALL! ... No game can match this one in the RPG Series... No single one (my opinion)
But then came Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, their music is pretty good compared to this..'
Donovan Medley but it's a remake. it's the same thing as ruby and sapphire. where's emerald's remake? Nintendo please, make more PMD. not remakes.
***** although PMD is much better honestly.
IMO, GTI's story is just a compressed version of this story.
Just thinking about Pokemon mystery dungeon makes me want to cry... I love it so much
GD JesseMKW so true
This reimagining of Primal Dialga’s battle theme takes an already amazing song and expands it to six and a half minutes of cinematic beauty that, to me, perfectly expresses the stakes and feeling of this fight at the climax of one of the best Pokémon games.
It still holds up over a decade later.
Excelent! Final bosses are the SOUL of every game that has some sort of conflict. The desicion, the climax. This is beyound great
agreed
I was so excited I misstyped almost everything XD
I wouldn't say they're the absolute Soul of a game's conflict but I do think they are an integral part. Games that lack a final boss such as Mass Effect 3 lack that feeling of accomplishment.
In my opinion the Soul of video game conflict is the journey you take as it is the players own choice as to how they play. Because in an almost literal sense it is the players journey.
lostfan10000 a game that does not have a final trial is not a game at all

FACTS
have you heard GlitchXCity's remix?
@@torak_34 yeah, it's ok to me. i would consider it the best remix-- but this one is here.
Dialga needs more respect.
Well, it is nowadays known among the dragon types as a very strong fairy slayer...
Many fans love Dialga. (and those who dislike it - having very stupid reasons mostly)
Bruh this was the first video I ever favorited on youtube and for good reason 10/10 even 11 years later one of the best remix tracks ever
+Hunter Allen ^^
This comment and the remix gave me the chills, suffering from nostalgia.
FOR GROVYLE
***** that made me freaking cry man, I remember playing explorers of sky, the Grovyle and Igglybuff episodes made me bawl my eyes ought, I was legitimately sad from those stories, I was tearing up, crying, and just sad.
Yes, for the one who gave life and limb to help us succeed.
"In order to protect this world, my comrades, the Obito of the past, the current Naruto... I'll kill the current Obito!"
Is what this comment reminded me of.
@@xuanathan do you incorporate the sequels in the same slot or not, I hope they still hold a candle or at the very least a flame
TSonicBoom Plays
The first ones eclipsed the sequels in terms if story. The sequels have great gameplay, but the story is just a bit too cookie cutter “Pokémon” for me.
Spin offs are actually so much better than the main games. I loved darkness, I loved sky, I loved conquest. I could live my life happy if I could know if they are making new games of the series.
@@RoostBR well friend. PMDDX is already out
When I hear this, I know the "end" is near, and that scene is right after, but despite that, you feel free.
Always...
:'(
2018 and It'll still be one of the best game for me. The moment grovyle said "Though the parting hurts...the rest is in your hands" and went to the future with dusknoir made me so emotional. I really like these old school type games.

There will never be another remixer like PokeRemixStudio.
Imo, this is still the definitive version of this piece. 15 years later, still absolutely legendary, like Dialga itself
Crazy how this and FL.Remix's versions are still the pinaccle after so long.
So I'm not the only one who wants to cry every time the Primal Dialga theme comes!
I never played the game, I just accidentally came across this theme while looking for something to listen to while playing Golden Sun. I beat the last boss at the climax of the song...so epic...
15 years later and this still goes so freaking hard.
If D/P/Pt ever get remakes this needs to be dialga's theme
Agreed and btw nice picture Jontron is awesome lol
I'm sure we'll be getting remakes. Maybe even as early as next year!
I honestly preferred the previous theme to this one.
Giratina should keep its theme, palkia should get a remix of the dppt palkia/dialga theme and dialga should get a remix of primal dialga's theme :]

13 years later and I still come back to this. The nostalgia... and the song is still fantastic too
It's been almost ten years since I first heard this remix and this is still one of, if not the, best remix of anything I've ever heard!
And this godly remix has existed since 2008...
