You absolute mad lad.
I like to start by getting unarmed to 12+. Meanwhile slowly increasing hp and casting cure outside of battle. Then casting it in battle to increase mp. At some point I attempt to acquire the swap spell. Been through the process least 5 times on the ps1 FF origins version using the interact barracuda 2 controller.
Ive recently done the same, way easier to just kill the guard in occupied city, the guards in front of any shop dont move, and dont die when killed, took maybe 2-3 hours. All stats, all weapons, all magic spells you want.
Just started this game for the first time a few days ago. Sure wish I came across your vid earlier explaining the "15" rule. Would have saved me about 5-6 hours I think. 12 hours in and I finally left the starting area with around 5k hp with the lowest being 3200 for Maria. got my evasion up to 8x99% and figured that should be good and plenty for majority of the game. Stats are on average in the 50's. Broken enough I think : D
Might as well switch off random encounters!
@@omegamaelstrom1001 Funny you say that. i do turn them off if I have to go back to an area to get a missing chest or if I am just quickly scouting., otherwise I keep it on when progressing normally. The encounter rate is a bit high in these versions I feel. Strange because they actually nerfed the rate in FF4 from what I heard.
"so eh, what do we do now?"
"what do you mean? Now we can finally play the game!"
"oh right.."
"The Empire? Maria's brother? Oh shit totally forgot about that!"
"That guy killed you."
""W-what...? Why? WHY?!"
all u need are : put all 3 to the front line, go buy the weakest, cheapest shield and dual wield shield to all 3, go buy cure and warp spells then go play normally. congrats ! u already beat the game ! even the final boss has a high chance to be insta killed by warp spells. normal mobs ? warp all, high chance as well, lol.
Why bother even with that. Just buy Teleport tomes and throw them at bosses for instakill.
@@omegamaelstrom1001 i mean teleport spell not warp, lol. but yeah, tomes are better.
Are you sure you're strong enough yet? What if the enemies survive one turn?
That would be unacceptable.
I am 9999hp , 999 mp, 99 agility. 11/10 unearmed skill. BUt i cant seem te level it anymore using this method. Do you have an idea why?
Must not be getting any exp for unarmed. Gotta punch for like 16 turns to get exp at that level.
@@omegamaelstrom1001 Thnx will try boosting spells to 16 now.
Incredible! Boosters turned on, right?
What about magic evasion?
Boosters?
In the options menu there are cheats to increase the rate at which you gain exp. @@omegamaelstrom1001
Not in this version. This is the PC version.
@@omegamaelstrom1001 Even more impressive
Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster on Switch has 4x boosters for XP, GOLD.
Iirc, it was not possible to max stats in the famicom. It just kept going. You would get letters and kana as stat scores
Yes, stats weren't capped at 99 in the Famicom version. But that's more of a bug than intended. Can definitely get it to 99.
@@omegamaelstrom1001 it was certainly funny. I wonder if you can get a kill screen in that version for getting too high of a stat.
Not really. Although the display is screwed up, internally the stats are treated as valid. So like if you get up to 255 Str and then you get another point, it would roll back over to 0. Have never tried it though.@@Asianwaste
Can ya do it without the boosters?
Yes. This is without boosters.
Just one question. What the fuck?
In all seriousness, cool video. Can't believe you can max stats within 4 hours of starting the game.
Uh, no. More like 27 hours. This is just a small selection of representative battles to demonstrate the grinding process.
@@omegamaelstrom1001 Oh. LUL 27 hours is more along the lines of what I was expecting. Would it be faster if you did it any later in the game?
Yeah, because would've gained a bunch of stats during progression.
You should have got Minwu and use anti on your team.
Maybe I should rename this to "maxed stats before minwu"
