Great hope everything gonna heal quick!i teared my Bicep and pec took me 2 years for the full recovery and i'm back on strenght lifting so i'm hoping for you the best hope you have acces to PRP for even better result.

Muscle tears actually don't hurt that much they're just rather distressing as it feels horrible but once it's done the pain is basically over

Man Seb really sprinted over immediately the second he saw he knew what had happened great guy to have in your corner
He kinda saw it coming, you can tell he was uneasy.
He knew exactly what had happened within 1 second of the tear.
As soon as he got to Thor he placed his arm correctly.
He knows his shit.
Seb should never have allowed him to push this hard so quickly.
@@defdaz yep hindsight might suggest say, 200-220-240 was more ideal. I trained chest a few hours after seeing the original video, felt an odd feeling in my pec so stopped right there where otherwise I would have gone on.

I think Seb, should have slowed Thor down, and waited till the end of year, so Thors body, can adjust to the strength increase and increased ped use...

I'd have called an ambulance in fits of tears, this guy hung around chatting to people! Insane!
Tendons don't have nerves, they don't hurt to tear. A minute or two later though the area will get really inflammed and can hurt to touch.
@@NondescriptUsernameUnlocalizab there's a thing called golgi tendon organ which measures tention in tendons. So not entirely correct but yeah you will feel far less for sure :)
@@damianhunter5476 Interesting. I'm not a biologist but I have torn a tendon or three in my time. Last year I was deadlifting and there was a loud pop in my hamstring on my third rep. It didn't hurt but it felt "unsettling". A little while later it stiffened up and I had to limp around

I wish you a good (not necessarily speedy) recovery. Injuries like this, if not given enough time to heal proper, can happen again, sometimes even worse. I feel for you, I really do, I had them all, from herniated disks to fractured clavicle, partial hamstring/quad/rotator cuff/biceps tears and I still learned to train around them and eventually keep them under control. Keep your head up and hang in there man!

I have had 2 open heart surgeries for aortic valve replacement and a stroke during my 2nd surgery, I know what losing my previous good health feels like, and I just wanted to say keep your chin up Hafthor, you'll emerge from this different to how you were before, but emerge you shall! Best wishes.

Gnarly. You’ll recover stronger than ever champ. I experienced a full pec tear from the humerus exactly 2 months ago. Benched a PVC pipe to full ROM last week. PVC pipe plus .5 lbs today. Gotta start somewhere. Best to you in your surgery and recovery🙏

Man, That bummed me out, but I LOVE that he CHOSE to handle it with a Positive mindset Straight away. That is extremely motivating. Man, he was looking So freaking Strong too. He just grew so freaking fast so in a way his Gift of getting super strong super fast hurt him a little, but he will recover. With that mindset anything is possible.

Hello from Australia, wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery. I tore my right distal bicep tendon from the bone unloading my kayak. The surgeon reattached the tendon with an anchor. I just want to tell you I have 100% strength back in that bicep after the operation and recovery period. Fortunately for me I am left handed and didn't have to ask the wife for assistance in the bathroom :). Take care.
