@@houseofsaudisthebeast I was still strong but out of the gym full time for a year. I was doing decline bench on the smith machine with 120kg. The gym owner was impressed and said 5 more, even though my body was not back in shape. I started bouncing the weight a bit and snap
@@darthvaper6745 that smith machine is real dangerous my guy, i only do flat bench, and i keep my elbows in tight to my sides and bring the bar low, to keep the stress off tendon to the shoulder. i can do 140kg for 2 reps now. do you need to get surgery is it better now? i dredd tearing ligaments or ripping a muscle in half

@@kenopsia6748 Thanks man - Im doing okay considering it all. Im an older guy and a bigger stronger dude half my age had a kimura trap/armbar thing going while i was in top half while my hands were gable gripped... as he started to invert, my pec tendon tore right off "pop".

I tore the muscle belly in my left pec in 2009, can't be fixed by surgery so I have a 2/3rd pec which is about 70% as strong as the other side and lumpy scar tissue. I was hitting a pb of 200kg x2 on bench and it tore at 2" from chest! Utter nightmare my overhead suffered massively, I went from strict pressing logs to push and jerk as my left side would fail all the time

Yep I’m doing physical therapy for mine after surgery. It’s painful not gonna lie man lol. Also took the same medicine as you after surgery works great it took about 3 weeks to actually be able to sleep fine. I hope PT goes well man shit sucks especially losing muscle during recovery but is what it is.
Glad to see y'all having fun. Hope the Thor Skyr sells well. My wife's from Houston and I lived nine years in San Antonio so I know how much fun Texas can be. Next time your in Texas you should try your skill with some firearms.
As it starts to get better you will use it more without realising it, that's why it hurts, sounds strange but shows it's getting better
I just hit 4 months post surgery for my pec tear. Just starting to feel normal. Working with a few weights but still trying to get back to full mobility. Still not able to drill Jiujitsu, hoping i can get back to drilling next month. Rolling is still way far away 😢
