Hi Dan, your teachings and videos are immensely valuable. I found you through Raelan's channel when you did the interview with her. I have been watching you daily since then.... your wisdom was the missing link in my recovery. The combination of simplicity & reassurance in your teachings are priceless. I made some leaps in just a couple of weeks ... I wished millions could learn from you. A heartfelt THANK YOU!

I watched this today, after meeting up with friends in a cafe (hard seat, walked without a stick again - my new normal 🎉) and when I walked in, and they asked how are you Bridie as they always do, for the first time I was able to say I'm good and really feel it! How can this work so fast?! You are not only a blessing but a life changer. So grateful I came across you a few weeks ago, thank you.

Ican relate my pain back to past trauma as I was in danger...now, that I am safe and more relaxed, I am not in as much pain and I am daily reinforcing safety messages to cope and doing better! Thanks again for sharing these messages and reassuring us of this truth.

I had a conversation with family that came to visit here in France.

Noticing that we learn things without having to know how it happens is hugely helpful. Just turning our attention to our desire to learn is key. Being open and receptive to learning creates space for the desired outcome. I'm not a religious person but "ask and it shall be given" comes to mind. I've noticed this in so many other ways in my life. We try too hard to get an answer. Allowing solutions to unfold/appear and trusting that they will works much better. Relaxing into our life and trusting our ability to evolve and enjoy our growth is life changing. We're programmed to learn and grow.

Again thanks Dan, for making this so easy to follow! One other coach actuallly said to give the brain a bad nickname and sometimes yell at it to let pain go. Didn’t work, but since I began your approach, the first day my pain in hops and one buttock began to slowly ease off in afternoon. And it’s done that 3 times this week. Today may be a bit hard, my body reacts to weather changes, here in NZ, it’s the southerly (northerly in your area). But I have already talked to Mrs brain not to take notice of it.

I’m set back now from taking care of my 89 year old father for days. I didn’t have time to take care of my pain because I was focused on him while I was in pain still. Now I’m having a huge setback like starting my 5 year TMS journey all over again from the beginning. And the worst part is my 2 sisters had a home care company in place taking care of my dad without my knowledge. So I’m killing my ass and my sisters are healthy and hired a company to cover their turn. I’m done with toxic liars!!!!!

I’ve been doing great so far this week with not adding fear and attention despite pretty strong upper back right side tension. Just going about my day with it.
What’s so strange is my brain perceives danger when I’m talking to people sometimes and it’ll flare up mid-conversation! Probably remnants from the last 7 months of severe anxiety I’m finally getting past. Going to meetings still flares me up bad as well. Pushing through with calm reassurance and no fear!

I can relate. I finally got to the " I don't care" attitude; meeting every thought with "It's fine." That shortened the amount of time I was focusing on the symptoms and lowered the fear level. I met thoughts of frustration with "This is temporary and the best thing I can do is be indifferent." When I start to try and figure it out, I just say "It's fine." Dan has a lot of videos about how the attitude is the core thing. So I don't think you need more convincing that you are fine; just less focus, fear, frustration, and attempts to figure it out.

I definitely watch ur other vids and i appreciate ur effort for helping us. But what's way worse is I've social anxiety disorder and it became so severe. My dad won't allow me to go to a psychiatrist. This is the first time I can't even get out of my house. My mind wants to be positive but I'm experiencing very fast heartbeats every day whenever I saw a person passing in my house or in the streets.I don't have any courage talking at strangers anymore. I'm a person who mumbles and stutters a lot. I did those without being nervous, imagine if I'm talking to strangers, the more I'll stutter, shaking of hands and mumble = embarrassment. Whats funny is im way more confident b4 in high-school and college than now, despite my speech defects. it really sucks bro.

Even your challenges are simply a result of your brain perceiving danger. The story you tell yourself is that other people are terrifying. What would happen if you changed your dominant thought to the FACT that being socially engaged is not dangerous?

@@PainFreeYou thanks so much brother for helping all of us and you're doing this for free. I appreciate it. I'll watch ur vid tomorrow because I'm gonna sleep now, I'm from Philippines BTW. Some told me to do 4-7-8 breathing to reduce palpitations, but my palpitations are still very strong. My involuntary reaction is still the same against these strangers. Stay blessed brother
