Clear as a bell, Dan! This time last year I was stuck, implementing your truths here, I’m moving on now. The best thing you taught me was to go ahead, expect a good day, a good life, and going ahead with life regardless of symptoms. My brain got the messages little by little, it’s no longer scared, what a relief. We all love you, Dan!

You’re dead on about the pain continuing when we’re pissed off, upset, saddened by the ongoing pain, especially when you wake with it, go to bed with it, etc. I love the woman’s outlook and saying it’s going to be a good day, regardless. I’m going to implement that one! ❤ Thanks, Dan, and congrats on 1600 videos! What a victory! What a commitment!! Bless you

Hi Dan, and everyone. I've been watching your videos daily for two weeks now, and this stuff really works 😊 I went on a BIG day trip, by coach (8hrs+ total) to the seaside yesterday. With ME/CFS for 10 years, I take these day trips to lift my spirits, and it usually spend two+ days in bed to recover and then it takes a few more days to feel back to my before state. With doing this work, including a mental rehearsal of the day and recovery, I've only spent this morning in bed, and feel much better, I'm about to get up - that's reducing my recovery from 2+ days to 1/2 day. AMAZING. And I know, I truly believe, that as I continue to do this work, this will get even better. For me it really is about recovering from the FEAR and reassuring my brain I am safe. Thanks so much 💚

Hi Dan, you are doing Gods work. Sarno changed my life 10 years ago and I have been pain free ever since. After 30 years of back pain episodes and visits to every specialist under the sun, I found that simple book Healing Back Pain, and something clicked. Pain episodes that took three months to resolve did not immediately go away but just resolved faster and faster. Now, if I notice the start of that old back pain, I stop, deal with it immediately and the pain dials down to zero in 10 seconds....as if a miracle is happening. Last episode was maybe 3 years ago. I use this method in every day of my life. Some years ago I wrote a letter to Sarno in appreciation and he replied. His reply is framed on my wall in my office. Thanks for doing this,.

    Hi Dan,
I discovered your videos in early July after your interview with Realan Agle. They have been SO HELPFUL. THANK YOU.
After this video, I would like to share how this hits home for me. Briefly, I was cool with symptoms, not stressed, the whole nine yards really. What helped is that mid June I was forced to be much more active and stayed calm and chilled, even through I awoke one night "wired and tired". I just accepted that this was normal and adjusted my boundaries the next day (it was a family thing). The days after, I did not crash and was very happy with that. Then, starting to see your videos, I realized I was 'overpacing'. THAT was the message of fear I was sending to my mind. I am now leaving this "comfort zone" and increasing activity, symptoms are arising but they are not a problem. I even laugh at times at what my mind can generate to have me go back to that comfort zone!

When I had the deep sense of safety on the motorway which I shared in the group meeting, my sensations were still pretty high. But it didn’t really matter because the sense of safety was so delightful.

Then the local "nutter" ( that is said with kindness lol) appears with his big dog, that looks more stressed than me!😂 He's cursing and acting threatening to everyone. I'm in fight and flight but cross that he's causing so much stress. I know he probably aint happy either but..... Not a great morning but I'm staying out longer 😕. Deep breath. Look at the painful part of your body and turn it off - directly. You cannot. However, we can influence our brain, with teaching it that we are not in danger, broken, etc, to turn the pain off. There is a difference between control like a light switch and influence it. The subconscious is what decides if pain is there or not. We can influence, not control.

@@Waves353 really? I often think like I'm the only one who is living like that. So many women my age start their second spring , so to say, going out again, having fun. Others are in the middle of getting divorced and already haing a new partner, after having maybe a few months of marriage issues, not 13 years like me. It would be great not to have all this back and muscle pain all the times, blocked vertebrae and ribs, and all that hormonal stuff, skipping heartbeats (that are caused by my blocked back and stress), itching, sweating, eyesight issues, sleep problems, fatigue, exhaustion... you name it. I almost have to laugh writing this list😂. I feel like I am 100 years old, honestly.
I gained a lot of weight after the births of my two boys which I could never get rid off. I started a final try this May and have lost 10 kilos so far. I also started wearing make up again and taking care of my skin, which makes me feel better. I have a highly responsible job which I love, and my other job at university is also refreshing as I teach young adults who are all lively, I enjoy their energy. So these are the things I do for myself, but often my physical issues and mostly my situation at home make me feel low again, just likw today. But I know I will get up again and shake off the dust and try on. All the best for you and everyone else here who is struggling for relief 🙏

I'm sorry you are going through all of that. I'd suggest a focus on fundamentals. My fast start playlist will give you a deeper understanding of how symptoms are created and what to do about it.
