Watching you guys enjoying our Scottish food has been awesome. Because most people around the world think Scottish food is bad for some reason. When your video proves otherwise. I’m glad you had a fun experience, and enjoyed yourself in my beautiful country…🫡🤷🏻♂️🏴
The way they piped and then torched the marshmallow on top of the dark hot chocolate was so special and all the pastries were exquisite! I really enjoyed visiting Scotland through your eyes since I’ve never been! Awesome reviews from my favorite foodie Ohana couple🫶🏻✨
Haste ye back lad and lassie. If naw, lang may yer lum reek! (Come back soon guy and girl. If not, may your chimney have smoke coming from it forever! In old Scots). One love from Scotland. 💙
Mahalo Foodie Ohana for sharing ! Love the natural beauty landscapes ! Beautiful Scotland ! Love their candies & Love their Scottish pork ! What an awesome journey !
omg i am crying rn. i spent a wonderful summer in edinburgh many many moons ago and the flood of memories came rushing back watching you two enjoy the city ❤ the food the food the food YUM! though y'all definitely had more choices and options now, i truly miss the stuff you only really get in the UK and even more specifically, scotland. i still remember the 1st time trying haggis, neeps (turnips), and tatties (potatoes) - loved it! so delicious! the cullen skink, cock-a-leekie soup, amazing salmon, i could go on and on lol. so happy to watch you enjoying 😊 hope you got to spend some time exploring in the new town side also. i can still remember how velvety the midnight blue of the late evening sky was when walking home down princes street 💙 thank you so much for sharing your wonderful visit. i cannae wait to return 💋
I love the fact that you tried so many traditional Scottish dishes while you were here. As to the weather, if you thought it was cold in Summer, don't ever visit here in Winter. I guess compared to Hawaii it would feel cold even in Summer.
Thank you for showing the World my Scotland. You must come back and travel further north to Oban, Inverness, Glencoe and Skye. When you are back in Edinburgh Amanda, get Felix to take you to The Balmoral Hotel for afternoon tea and in the evening, dinner at The Witchery. On your way back from the Highlands, don't forget to stop off for a chocolate experience at Iain Burnett, Highland Chocolatier in Grandtully Perthshire. Haste Ye Back 💙
@@AmandaFelixEats, If you do make a trip up to Skye. Stop off at The Croft Cafe in Duirinish, It was remiss of me not to mention Mary's Milk Bar in the Grassmarket in Edinburgh for Ice cream and Mimi's Bakehouse in Leith, for morning coffee and cake. My Bad 😉
Amazing to the both of you. Thank you for your wonderful video of Scotland. We love that you come to our country and show it off. We hope you have a wonderful trip in Bonnie Scotland and we hope you’re both safe happy and might see you again to show off Scotland again
Thank you for appreciating our food. I think they spared you the details of what parts of the lamb they use in haggis ;-). Also Coke Zero really - in Scotland. No no no! Irn Bru is what you drink in Scotland, the 1901 version, if you can find it. TBF this is the coldest summer I ever remember in Scotland, it's not normally this bad, but I suppose compared to Hawaii most places are cold
I’m pretty sure the custard slice is layers of puff pastry, at least traditionally it is. Loving your photo inserts in this video. Scotland is so beautiful, looks like you made the most of it ❤
I had never thought of the late summer nights occuring in Scotland. I lived years with those late sunsets near the Canadian/U.S. border. I always learn something from you guys. Thank Coke Zero and other brands taste different because Europe does not allow over 1,000 food additives that are allowed in the U.S.
You guys were in Edinburgh the same weekend I was! I live in the Highlands and took my daughter down to see a Disney concert with a live orchestra the weekend Taylor swift was there. I love Edinburgh. My husband is American and absolutely loves the city. Nice to see you enjoying Loch Ness as well. There's a few places in your video I haven't visited like Oink but I will be trying their food after seeing how tasty it looks! Come back to Scotland soon!
Wow! Edinburgh looks like going back in time with the architecture. Thanks for trying the haggis, Felix. I always thought it would be too gamey to enjoy knowing what it is made out of. Those pastries looked amazing. The croissant dough reminds me of kouign-amann dough and the layered Pastry looked pretty but hard to eat with the crispy layers. All right, time out to take in TS concert!
Hi to the Cutest Couple on UA-cam! For sure, this was the dream trip! What a magnificent country to visit! You both tried all the authentic foods and kept an open mind. Alot of people find some of the food..to be an acquired taste. Thanks for sharing this video with the world 💫❤
That tiramisu croissant looks Sick!(the good kind!) Croissant, in & of itself, is already flaky & light. But you add tiramisu "filling", that's a pastry lover's Nirvana/Utopia!
Hi guys, I haven’t been around for a while I’ve missed a lot. Wow you’re in Scotland, that’s so awesome ☺️ loving the food tour and Scotland looks so pretty. Stay safe
I really enjoyed this vlog. It's always interesting to see the place you live through a visitors eyes. You looked like you were having a good time, despite this year's terrible summer weather. Thank you for being such considerate visitors and haste ye back. You're welcome anytime.
Yorkshire pudding requires the same volume of eggs milk n plain flour with a t spoon of baking powder, once mixed refrigerate for at least 30 mins, heat oil in patty tins till smoking hot then whisk the mix n pour gently into the hot oil,put in oven an don't open till you've watched them rise lol
Omg! You guys, My husband and I found your channel when planning our trip to Hawaii last year and I am so excited to see you guys in Scotland! We are currently planning our third trip there! Oink is one of our favorite places too. It's so good to see your smiling faces!! I hope you had a blast! 🏴
Mahalo to you and your husband for watching our videos about Hawaii🤙🏼 We're so happy we got to travel across the world to this amazing country! Mahalo for watching this video too!
Hi to my two favorite UA-camrs. What an awesome journey! You have really become world travelers. Scotland is so beautiful and the food looks delicious. Love and blessings. 💖🙏🌺💖💖💖 Safe travels.
I'm just over a minute in and need to give you props for "Highland Coo" and pronouncing Edinburgh properly. Thank you, it matters With regards to your Scottish breakfast, (even though Berwick is in England), the tattie is a "tattie scone" and made from potatoes (tatties), flour, butter and a pinch of salt, zero doughnuts involved haha
@@AmandaFelixEats Ahhhhh... I see. Many a war has been fought over that town over the last 700 years Great video, I love that you really went for it with the local food, it's a great way to experience a place
Great video! Next time you're in Scotland you'll need to head west and northwest. If you're a fan of doughnuts, then tantrum doughnuts in Glasgow are amazing (I recommend the pistachio and hibiscus), and personally I think there's a bigger variety of restaurants in Glasgow. I'd also highly recommend a trip to Oban specifically for seafood, and also for its chocolate shop! I'd also say the very best fish and chips I've ever had is in the town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, which is easily reached from Oban!
So happy we got the pleasure to experience this amazing country! They have so much in common with Hawaii. Their history, their pride and island hospitality! You'll love it! Mahalo🤙🏼
Recently just discovered your channel and I've binged so many of your videos, absolutely in awe at all of the delicious eats you guys have been sharing! Love the vibes and how you guys describe your adventures, looking forward to more

I was waiting for this one, and you did not disappoint! It looks like a wonderful trip, and I enjoyed seeing all the familiar foods (from my travels to the UK) and especially the new ones -- stovies and cullen skink look right up my alley! 😂 And OMG, the pastries! I would definitely visit that place if I ever go back to Edinburgh. Sticky toffee pudding (or sticky date pudding in Oz) is one of my favorite desserts! The Brits/Scots (and also Aussies, Kiwis, and Irish) use "pudding" to mean dessert, btw. And wow, you went to the Taylor Swift concert in Scotland? What a great idea! I watched the Eras tour on Netflix and it looked amazing. How much more special to do it while traveling to one of your bucket-list countries! So happy for you both having such a wonderful trip, and MAHALO for sharing it with us! 🥰

Good effort. I’m not a Scot but I’m usually in Edinburgh a few times a year. You haven’t fallen down that trap that an unfortunate amount of USAan vloggers do in treating the city like a weird zoo.
So beautiful in Scotland. One place I would like to see as well. Would be nice to see prices of the food. Curious to know the price difference in their food between scotland vs US..
Neeps are turnips! Not sure I’d like them, but Felix you are my hero for embracing the Haggis! Now please Recite, Address to a Haggis, by Robert Burns!
