Crispy Aromatic Duck is amazing! It’s meant to be crispy and dry. It’s so tasty and nothing like a summer roll

You need to wrap more spring onion and cucumber strips with your crispy aromatic duck to contrast with the dryness of the duck … it’s one of the most delicious and highly prized (not mentioned priced) dishes in Chinatown

Hope you get to see more of the UK. Liverpool and Manchester are super popular big cities with tons of diversity for a wide range of food aswell as local specialities and great places for entertainment. Liverpool specifically has the oldest Chinatown in all of Europe. Liverpool is actually a "Twin City" with Shanghai and has a big ceremonial Chinese arch that came from China. They have a long history together from round the 1800s

The London Chinatown didn't really "exist" until the late 60s. Liverpool was the 1st port of call for the Chinese coming into Britain back in the early days and many migrated to Manchester subsequently. It wasn't until the 60s that Chinatown in London came into prominence when more Chinese people either moved into London or came down from the North.

Crispy aromatic duck is deep fried. It's likely offered as a cheaper alternative to Peking duck and because, as you did, you can have half a duck which you usually can't with a Peking duck.

Wow! London's Chinatown has such a variety of foods. Always good to try to see the difference from what we are used to on Oahu.. Even going to Vancouver or San Francisco, you can taste the differences, but gotta admit, the food in London looks like it tastes way different from what you get on Oahu or Los Angeles. Now, if I could just find a pork hash that tastes like the one from Char Hung Sut! 😂. BTW, my sister said the chicken feet in Hawaii have "luau feet" compared to the skinnier offerings in London. 🐓
