Yep have ordered and soon to be delivered m2 in Toronto red with carbon pack and manual. Also have a heap of carbon parts to add from the uk. Front splitter, rear defuser, carbon steering wheel with info panel etc I think it looks much better in the flesh and let’s face it in 5 years we will all miss these types of cars.

II’m enjoying that you are using h the rotary dial to make the adjustments while driving aggressively. @paul, would have rather done that using the touch screen in that same situation please?

Nice one Paul. Not a fan of BMW, but the handeling tricks reminds me of my 69 302 Boss Stang. Not as controlled as this, but just more stupid awsome rawness, with no nannies. Have give any thought on a Moo/Roo test. 😊😊

I have recently brought a 2023 in this baby blue colour and everybody love it it gets a lot of attention and thumbs up I love mine

Great Paul. Nice drive train, looks a bit bangled & 300kgs heavier than the previous F87?! Thats heavier than a manual VF SS Series 2 - all those advances i guess...

There’s not much we can do about it. BMW sets when we can publish a video in their cars. We drive this and the M3 Touring a couple of months ago.

Such a shame they're killing the exhausts on the new cars. Recently drove the previous M2 Competition - now that's a proper exhaust note.
Na, the Competition is already muffled to death, the original F87 sounds the best of them all.

I have actually seen it. Its MEAN looking not elegant like my E92 M3. About the same size but wider.

It seems unanimous amongst professional car reviewers, the manual transmission is not the best pick.
Test drive them both then decide.
So if that’s a new car why does the date code on those Michelins read 2021. That’s odd
If it’s a press car it’s quite likely that someone has already slain the tyres and had to have them replaced, these ones might be older stock? Just a theory.

My neighbor got this exact car. The baby blue is not my color at all and the front end has a very odd look. The best way I can describe it is when you see a parked car that has been vandalized and its missing the grill and has holes in the bumper where the foglights should be. Those are the styling elements that totally miss the mark with this design. I think sapphire black metallic would work wonders on concealing these things and to be blunt, would be the only color I would get this car in...
I was thinking of the m240i but now looking at the m2 which look like an angry baby bull as m240i look like a shy cow.
Id kill for the m3 to have this grille . I’m not a coupe guy. I have two choices black wing or m3 for a manual . Sometimes you have to settle boys . Not all women are 10s .

I can think of another pure sports car that comes in a manual version, the Toyota Supra.
N M sport car is only best with automatic transmission.

Very, very capable! But with this new model, suddenly also VERY ugly! Tis unfortunate, but I guess at least the rest of the formula remains excellent.

First of. It doesn't look like a BMW in the traditional sense. On screen it looks like a fibreglass kit car and it seems as if the line where the good and nose meet doesn't line up or the gap is out.
They really butchered the looks

The design is ugly as hell, I miss the OG M3's they just always had a pleasing body style, BMW big wigs must be doing drugs to do this to the BMW community.

And clearly using Launch Control wasn't gunna get it down, you should of manually taken off slowly and tried feeding in the power yourself..... But yes you are fully correct about the drifting and people not understanding how to feather the control and when it suddenly grips...... Nice drift...
