Another superb review of this magnificent new M2. I initially was not a fan of this new model, compared to your blue CS, but I have completely changed my view on this M2 (except for those ugly DRL’s. Far prefer the iconic BMW DRL’s from the previous model) The stance or presence on the road, is magnetically seductive……absolutely perfect. The increase in cabin space and complete upgrade in tech is welcomed. The engine and transmission are typically brilliant from BMW M. Personally, I would purchase this car with only the 21”/20” wheel upgrade in black + the carbon fibre roof. The one big negative to me, is that the M240i + M2 is going to be built in Mexico. If I want to buy an M2, it must come out of Germany. I’m a traditionalist of quality German manufacturing and assembly.
Great review. The number of “get off my lawn” comments about the new M2 are hilarious. The looks are simplistic, way less busy than the F87 which embodies the concept of the M2. Having owned 2 F87’s and an M3 Comp xDrive G87, absolutely cannot wait for my G87 M2 to arrive!
Current Dream Garage : M2 Manual, M3 Comp, 911 T Manual, Cayman T Manual, Z Manual, Supra Manual.........There are a good amount of options for sports/sporty cars right now. Nissan needs to get their crap together regarding the stop sales on the Z and BMW needs to make more Supras!
Do not be fooled with the design of this car on videos and pictures. I can safely say, seeing this up close and personal and interacting with it, things are different, and it is absolutely beautiful, to me, this car is perfect, the driving position is perfect, it feels and drives excellent, I literally have no complaints. Sapphire black + M performance kit, without the hideous large spoiler + full black wheels with a carbon fibre roof with standard seats. Cannot go wrong. Buy the car. Do yourself a favour, buy the car. People also whinge about the manual gear, but seriously it’s not that bad. A really good car.
The M4 is more beautiful. I like the size of the M2 and yes, its a great car but if buying a new BMW, looks are a big deal and to me, the M2 doesn't cut it. But, likely in all black, it makes it under the wire.

At times I can see the S2000 in the front end and profile. Is this a good thing ? Previous Gen more sexy….imo
Nice entry Gohan 👌
i have one on order (8 months away) and I have a 60 lbs Samoyed (dog). what are the chances i can get him in the back seat without an issue lol
Great car by BMW , FANTASTIC color there man , looks super cool !
This is a real driver's car , yeah !
Beautiful car in person, needs the black wheels
F87 is just so beautiful.
Is the sound pumped through the speakers?
How does this car compare to the RS3 and CT4-V Blackwing?
Your videos are THE BEST! I'm sure it's an amazing car, but that boxy front end............maybe it will grow on me?
The M4 is more beautiful. I like the size of the M2 and yes, its a great car but if buying a new BMW, looks are a big deal and to me, the M2 doesn't cut it. But, likely in all black, it makes it under the wire.
Wow, great video
Excellent review .... love your honest enthusiasm. You've sold me - Heading online to order one right now. Sapphire Black methinks !!
Indeed very nice comparison with the M Performance parts. 👍
Nice lego car i ll keep my f87 m2cs
Would have been nice if an M sport option was available to enhance the front end and rear with exhaust tips 😢
For not a great deal more $$ you get the new M3... Nuff said!!
