The speed limit on that road is 50. Having a bike lane is better than nothing, but the bike lane really ought to be physically separated from cars when the speed limit is more than 35. I’d be especially nervous crossing that bridge at the end…
I don't mind riding residential with no physical separation that much, but still get people close passing me ... 35mph road in San Diego every body does 50.. needs a divider or speed cameras.
Cyclist passing on the left, passing on the right, entering into vehicle lanes, taking his eyes off the road to yell at other motorists, and if anyone hits him they have an uphill battle to prove they are not at fault... what menace no wonder drivers hate entitled fools on bikes
He's concerned the truck might hit him but not concerned enough to match speed and drive single file, instead he wants to show off by passing a truck on a bike. There is a rule in law that says the person who had the last chance to avoid the accident is at fault, that would be the cyclist who admitted being worried for his safety but took a chance anyway.
@@RidingBikesinSanDiego Well I guess you own the bike lane so feel free to drive dangerously and if you live you maybe you can sue them, but only if you reasonably tried to avoid the accident, which you didn't in this case.

I'm riding in a bike lane with a bunch of drivers who have decided to drive in the bike lane. But go off, buddy.
