Yeah, most of DS3 cheese setups are so overcomplicated that it's easier just to beat the boss. I remember a video where some dude tried to "cheese" pregnant tree by making it fall into the hole and then just spamming firebombs while standing on top, but the aiming is so hard it's almost easier to just slap that thing with your sword.
Depending on your level, stats, and gear, you can get around 4,400(NG) by killing the talon knight under the bridge by the corvian settlement bonfire and get some large shards and chunks while you're at it. You can get there right after vordt if you do some suicide rushes and skip past sage. Just grab the longbow and free greirat so you can get regular and large arrows (wood work, but are better suited for farming the large rat at the dilapidated bridge bonfire till dex 25). Just stand on the stones next to the small bridge you're "supposed" to cross, and use the WA on the bow to shoot the knight in the head to make him drop, and just keep using locked on WAs to hit him when he's still and regular shots (better tracking) when he's running or walking (typically happens after a headshot, though you can usually get a second WA off if you have the stamina for it while he's staggered). I'd recommend starting with silver serpent, Flynn's, and Lloyd's sword, with cloranthy if you have it. Once you're good on arrows and upgrades, grab some undead hunter charms and kill sage, get the cs rapier and farm a symbol of avarice from the mimic in either high wall or cathedral by throwing charms at it and buy the tower key to get the estus ring. Now you can get to around lvl 60 with +7/+8 weapons before keep or deacons and probably safely beat them to get to higher metas. Or just keep farming the knight for 100 lvls to get a decent chance at some +9 goodness, put 20 points in int and farm for a storyteller's staff to cheese Sister Friede for 2 slabs (one from her, one from the settler near the bonfire you've been farming at). Note, all levels assume that you're spending your souls primarily on levels, arrows, and upgrades. There's a few better places later in the game, but I haven't reached them yet due to having only recently migrated from DSR, so I can't give any more help than the wiki on them. Good luck with your farming.
Rapport and the 3 Gertrude knights before twin princes is the fastest farm. With silver serp and shield of want you get 17.4k each kill, they do the work for you. Faster than farming drake knight in archdragon
@@calebsigers7197 if you have the symbol of avarice (farm off a mimic with undead hunter charms) and the mendicants staff (farm off the summoners in archdragon peak) you can make 30,888 souls per angel for over 90k each time on the first playthrough. @@nicholaswillers164 silver serp+3, 2 shields of want and the symbol of avarice gives you 70.000 souls per knight, you probably can get more with the staff but I just couldn't be bothered to farm the summoners.

You actually did the Teardrop glitch for this video! That's some good dedication :o It's unfortunate how difficult that glitch is and how much preparation it can take at first, but tbh I'm just glad that it is possible at all.
It wasn't easy, but your video helped a ton. I also found that having the second player hold back an arrow while hitting the kill-plane was completely unnecessary!
@@PhobiaSoft The part of holding the bow was to get a different death animation, the one you got in the video kept you in place and made it really difficult for the red to Sacred Flame you. By doing my technique you could get a death animation that flings you back and away from the killplane, so the red can safely Sacred Flame you without the risk of pushing you back in it :D
@@dan007d I actually tested this and got the same "fling" animation in both cases, so I ended up dropping the bow. I'm late, but there's another glitch with the Twin princes. If you trigger the 2nd phase right at the bottom of the steps by the altar, their AI will break as long as you don't move or damage Lorian. If you stay still and kill Lothric with a bow, it's a free 2nd phase.
That Crossbow Glitch is insane. Edit: upon acquiring the repeating crossbow and testing the glitch, it's rather difficult to reliably do it in combat situations so it isn't as OP as I originally thought still a very interesting glitch though
There’s an Aldrich cheese you missed, if you step on this one tile in front of the fog gate that is slanted/broken, enter the boss arena and back step three times it shuts off his AI, you don’t have to line yourself up with the tile if you can’t find it, just enter the fog gate from as far away as possible and then spam back step when you enter
This is a little one that everyone knows but you can reposition your stats infinitely if you just exit the game (close the game app) just after completing the change and accept it but you are still on the covenant menu (Where you can choose between changing your stats, appearance or increasing your covenant rank). Open the game again and you will have the changes you made but still all your remaining opportunities to do it. I have tested it on ps4 and it worked but only for stats, it didn't work for character reskins. Enjoy your infinit builds and let's see if someone can make a reliable faith-based one (Sorry for the broken english)
Wow, I had actually forgotten that the tree skip was a glitch! I've done it on all my characters for so many years that I started to think it was just a shortcut!
A friend told me about it when I started, that combined with the limited area of the roof it gives you access to, led me to think it was a shortcut as well
@@crestfallensunbro6001 I'm pretry sure they did it on purpose. It's just obscurre and seems unintentional, because it relies on the janky jumping mechanic in the game that is basically usless otherwise except for one really pathetic jump puzzle. Basically the only interesting places you can get to by jumping in the game involve "glitching". There is just no way they tested the game and no one saw or suspected that someone could just jump from the tree to the roof. I didn't actually watch anything or have anyone tell me about it and imagined that it was possible my self.
An incredible video and with two very enjoyable ymfah and prod references! It's amazing to see the dedication needed to perform some of these glitches, reminds me of the Halo Reach Destroyed Science Wing glitch.
This might've already been commented, or already found out, but for the Lorian and Lothric freeze, there's actually a completely independant freeze that happens for the 2nd phase, which can be done by standing on the black line on the carpet when you kill lorian the first time. If you do, you'll spawn directly behind Lorian and Lothric, and if you have spells or a bow that can ONLY hit lothric (if you hit lorian at all it'll fix his AI) you can completely kill him and end the fight without even having them move
A quicker way I found how to do the buffswap: Just backstep and use the pre-miracle right after. Im using Dorhy's gnawing (for my bleed weapon+costs less FP) instead of Force as the miracle and it still works so I don't have to use another attunement slot for Force. Then switch spells and switch talisman->weapon via inventory, and backstep and press forward+L2 like normally.
Never before has the idea of “buffable aquamarine dagger” driven me to reinstall ds3 immediately after taking a hiatus. You sir, just gave me new ideas.
Also there is Lorian second phase cheese if you gonna stay behind his first spawn point on stairs with carpet, and if you succes - he will gonna stand, and if you hit him he unfreeze, but if you use miasms or some sort of pyromancy poison he will not react. This is glitch that i remember, and I'm not sure if it work now, but i hope you enjoy
I just came here to check this out for some replay action, and these are great. I'm going to try several of them. As for the Twin Princes fight, you can always use the pestilent mist cheese method for Phase 2. It's not a perfect glitch, but if you combine that with yours, it makes for what looks like a painfully simple approach.
there is a working souls duplication glitch on the CURRENT patch, i dont remember what youtube video i found it from but its similar to those in te release version, its done by abusing the homeward spell and queing a boss soul, it lets you use the boss soul without it dissapearing from your inventory
I have one for you. @Phobia So once you get the banner at the high wall. Kill the woman and spawn the dancer. Die to the dancer and then move on. Once you’ve killed 3 Lords of Cinder, you will be teleported to the dancers boss room. And with the dancer already there. The AI will be turned off
Fun fact about the tree skip: They actually heard about it early on and decided since it was a difficult skip that required some skill for very little gain, they left it in on purpose.
"very little gain" early mid tier upgrade mats in the form of crow trades, +10% soul gain, estus, crystal lizard, and saving 10k souls. I love their definition of little.
@@wigglyjiggly4498 If you want into the fire keeper tower, you have to spend the 10k souls. The strongest thing is the upgrade material, but due to weapon matchmaking, this doesn't really effect multiplayer.
@@Mustacheoro But in the long run progression does indeed help with multiplayer via weapon unlocks or leveling. And you are correct about the tower, sorry. Been playing convergence and in that mod the top of the tower is unlocked, forgot that isn't the case in vanilla.
@@wigglyjiggly4498 I don't see how it helps/hinders multiplayer. Ds3 using 2 factors for matchmaking; your soul level, and the higest leveled weapon in your inventory. The tree skip doesn't allow you to get any advantage on another player, as any real benefits from it are resolved in matchmaking.
there is a dupe glitch in ds3 where p1 drops an item then p2 picks it up. p1 alt+f4s than reverts his save to the last backup made before he dropped the item. then just repeat for infinite souls, resins, consumables, etc.
Your research is great. I have started trying some of these just to have fun with the game. The only thing is with the Lorain and Lothric boss fight you still have to fight in the second phase you can’t kill him from outside the fog gate and get his soul. Once you kill Lorain with the millwood bow glitch the fog gate stays in place and you have to go through the fog and then the second phase begins. Still a great glitch because it allows you to save your estus for the second fight. I’m going for the automatic great bow next. Thanks for your research.
@@PhobiaSoft kinda asked for it, you know the Artorias fanboys repopulate the crucifixion woods with anyone who says anything bad about Edgelords of the Abyss... (Jokes aside, it is a fun boss fight compared to some of the others)
You actually missed one that is very old and still works If you want to kill dancer off the very start of the game pretty much, you can do so if you have at least 99 of 2 different types of arrow, and a (Usable) Bow, Basically go into where dancer would be, Kill the old lady, spawn dancer and quit out, make sure the 2 knights outside the arena are dead so the glitch doesn't get messed up, go to the fog wall and nudge your way forward so you're at the very edge of being able to enter, then enter the fog gate and immediately backstep, you should now be able to freely shoot dancer to death because her AI will not be active as long as you don't move.
Good stuff mate 👍 There is absolutely still a sort of freeze on phase 2 of the Twin Princes too. Lorian's AI has a visual blindspot about 2 meters behind him. If you position yourself at the very bottom of the stairs near their weird bed that they share and hit him with a ranged attack, he will not be aggro when phase 2 begins so long as you do not physically move.
I know this vid is old but...that Pontiff glitch is insanely good and requires a really big brain. Of course, it may seem more trouble than it's worth, but it's still incredible seeing it performed! Witnessing that would cause many to never join that server again. Which is ideal lol
Also if you use the pestilent mist spell, it can kill the Curse-rotted greatwood before it enters 2nd phase, allowing for an easy kill. Pestilent mist is also able to kill mimics without them awakening. Cool video - I had no clue many of those existed!
To skip the second stage of the twin princes you can shot lothric from behind Lorian if you manage to kill the first stage from on the stairs directly behind in the initial spawn point. Normally this is kind of hard to do but it is really easy if you freeze Lorian in the first stage
4:06 , as a challenge runner, both Ymfah and me took this personally. Also nice job literally re-inventing Tear drop glitch. Wish there was a much easier way to preform without the use of two people tho.

I discovered tree skip by myself in front of a friend who'd never saw it before. we were both so ecstatic. disclaimer; I was not the first discoverer, I just happened to discover I could do it without being told previously by anyone.
8:28 If you want freeze to last in the second phase too, you need to stand behind brothers' backs and use spell Snap Freeze or Pestilent Mist. The last one is also effective against Wolnir if you use it on his hand before he wakes up. (I haven't tried Snap Freeze, it might work as well)
You just need to not hit lorian. Anything that doesn't apply stagger damage works or just precisely shot arrows to a side to not pierce through lothric and hit lorian
I'm hopping onto one of my meta builds, and doing a Pontiff fight club, today! So awesome. This is the sort of stuff you need mods for on PC, and man this is an amazing glitch.
I remember my boyfriend teaching me the tree glitch, I got it after only a couple tries and he was losing his mind that I did it so easily :,] I love this game, and I love him for encouraging me as much as he does
Fun Fact: There's enough Titanite slabs to upgrade a sword, shield, and armor in the base game (6). This would be more useful if it was still upgradeable, or if armor did anything in the first place.
The director himself said "If our team finds a skip in the levels, we will fix it. However if the players find a way to skip the levels we'll leave it in the game so long as its not a wrong warp." So yeah after ds3 release they knew about the tree jump, but they decided to leave it in

(I have always wanted to play the games and completely appreciate the lore and gameplay I am just one of those people in all games that cannot get the parry down)
I know this video is old but I know of an oob glitch for midir that involves the elevator but it's hard to replicate and if done will let you activate midir as phantom without the host ever entering. If you ride the elevator up towards midir and time the roll out correctly the elevator will push you into the wall and if you maneuver correctly you can work towards midirs arena and fall into it which starts the fight but kill you. So if you're a phantom you can start it for your buddy and they can just infinitely spawn other people to fight. I can never find any videos on it though which is a little surprising. I found this on final patch 1.15 too on accident by rolling too late
So on the topic of the lorian freeze, you can set it up so the big bro ai doesn't notice you in the second phase if you stand on the line between the stairs and the floor directly behind the boss when you finish the first phase. Just be sure to only hit the younger bro and it should be a reasonably easy boss

I'm on my third playthrough now and I'm making 80k per angel with 240k for the set

You actually did the Teardrop glitch for this video! That's some good dedication :o
It's unfortunate how difficult that glitch is and how much preparation it can take at first, but tbh I'm just glad that it is possible at all.
I mean the glitch exists, that's all that matters
Still works perfectly...you can do the same for Dancer
The Prod reference was very funny!

@@crestfallensunbro6001 I'm pretry sure they did it on purpose. It's just obscurre and seems unintentional, because it relies on the janky jumping mechanic in the game that is basically usless otherwise except for one really pathetic jump puzzle. There is just no way they tested the game and no one saw or suspected that someone could just jump from the tree to the roof. @@dickrichard626 I like to think that it was not intentional but they left it anyways because they either thought it was clever or funny
All these cool glitches got me wanting to jump back into this game
Slab and repeating greatbow glitch was fucking genius.. this channel deserve much more attention
A cold callback for ymfah.
Always appreciated.
A quicker way I found how to do the buffswap:
Just backstep and use the pre-miracle right after.
The end result of having a boss legitimately participating in invasions and fight clubs is the coolest glitch I've ever seen in any game.
Imagine invading someone thinking you gonna clap some noobs then seeing your enemy standing next to pontiff
Also there is Lorian second phase cheese if you gonna stay behind his first spawn point on stairs with carpet, and if you succes - he will gonna stand, and if you hit him he unfreeze, but if you use miasms or some sort of pyromancy poison he will not react.

Yes you're right! It was discovered within the last year or so I think
I have one for you. @Phobia
So once you get the banner at the high wall. Kill the woman and spawn the dancer. Die to the dancer and then move on. Once you’ve killed 3 Lords of Cinder, you will be teleported to the dancers boss room. And with the dancer already there. The AI will be turned off

I hope you didn't forget about how you can stand behind where lothric spawns in his 2nd phase to confuse his AI so that he doesn't move.
Ds3 using 2 factors for matchmaking; your soul level, and the higest leveled weapon in your inventory.

there is a dupe glitch in ds3 where p1 drops an item then p2 picks it up. p1 alt+f4s than reverts his save to the last backup made before he dropped the item. then just repeat for infinite souls, resins, consumables, etc.
Yep, you are totally right. This technique is possible in every souls game, its just rather labor intensive.

You actually missed one that is very old and still works
If you want to kill dancer off the very start of the game pretty much, you can do so if you have at least 99 of 2 different types of arrow, and a (Usable) Bow,
Basically go into where dancer would be, Kill the old lady, spawn dancer and quit out, make sure the 2 knights outside the arena are dead so the glitch doesn't get messed up, go to the fog wall and nudge your way forward so you're at the very edge of being able to enter, then enter the fog gate and immediately backstep, you should now be able to freely shoot dancer to death because her AI will not be active as long as you don't move.
