Everything inside the glass and titanium case was produced by one of the great American watch companies between 70 and 100 years ago. We service and adjust the movements, and create the rest right here in Fort Collins, Colorado.

I have learned and enjoy watching Michael and Adam. I find the shows very relaxing. Michael is very wealthy but modest and flamboyant all at once which is refreshing and seems what you see is what you get!

The man never brags, He shows his things and what they cost, because people ask, people are curious. Hell if he wanted to brag, He could only show the million dollar watches and 500,000.00 dollar watches. No she show 12,000.00, 3k watches along with a hundred thousand dollar watch. thats not bragging.

A Lange and Sohne make the most beautiful movements. They say you can take any A Lange and Sohne watch back to where the movement was made and they can tell who exactly made that specific watch bc the detail in the movement is unique to the watchmaker. Would be a cool video idea.
You're thinking about the engraving on the balance bridge as far as the movement itself It's assembled by a handful of people depending on the watch.

It’s an important collection now. The Zeitwerk takes him into a different league.
The green Glashütte is truly AMAZING. What a great buy!
Flyback = you can restart a chronograph without first stopping it
Retrograde = a retrograde dial displays a function in a linear fashion, as opposed to a circular fashion - often seen in subdials for seconds
Guilloché = the art of executing fine and intricate patterns on any surface - in the watch world used to describe hand patterned dials
Côtes de Genève = a type of movement decoration created using a lathe with a circular polishing brush - which is seen on the Elgin movement Michael shows. This beautiful movement is also engraved with classic patterns which we do not have a specific name for in the world of watch nerds.
President = a specific bracelet made by Rolex. There are also Jubilee, Pearlmaster and Oyster bracelet types. The Oysterquartz Michael bought features a version of the Oyster bracelet which was specific for this model (if not mistaken - I am not a true Rolex expert)
Yeah i hate it when people say its a president, or president watch. That oyster quartz is not a president watch. Just a daydate with fluted bezel.

I own a Glashütte Original Panomaticlunar, very shocked and pleased to see Michael purchased one. IMO it's the best value at under $10k, stunning on camera and better in person.
Gold oysterquartz is an unexpected treat. The A lange & Sohne is as good as watchmaking gets.
I’m not a big fan of Rolex, but that James Cameron Rolex is quite nice. Nice to see Michael’s collection is evolving from bling to understated.

Rolex only made like a few hundred of the quartz watches so good on Michael for finding one, VERY VERY rare find.

That's the reality of the World, today! The Rich get richer and the toys that they enjoy drive or wear... Would feed a family for 10 years or more and the poor get poorer and can't afford to feed their family so turn to Crime! I'm not saying that it's right, it's just the way that the World of today is!!! Michael was working washing pans in the Kitchen on a British Army Base in Germany, humble beginnings. He deserves to enjoy the fruits of his labours. I am not passing judgements but I am stating facts!

I never understood my late dad’s passion for collecting Italian micro mosaics until recently. He bought one in Milan for £2,400 in 1988. I sold it last week for £84,000. Nice one dad. His passion has looked after the whole family.

Even as a subscriber and viewer myself, i am massively impressed with the change in Producer Michael’s taste in watches, from blingy watch that has michael’s vibe in it to now mainstream well accepted watches. Oh well covid brought some positive effect at least to michael! Love every piece in this video
A Lange being his favorite watch, knowing what he was collecting only a few years back, is pretty amazing. It's been fun to follow Michael on his journey. And with that Elgin, I wonder if Michael will venture into vintage and more obscure brands.

What a great selection of watches Michael!! The A Lange & Söhne is my favourite watch of all time (no pun intended). Maybe one day I'll be able to add one to my collection. That green Glashütte is stunning!
Vortic Watches started here in Fort Collins Co. super mom and pop/small business. Gained some movement when Kevin O’Leary started wearing them. Proud of all they have accomplished!
Close; we actually gained a lot more recognition when the Swatch Group tried to sue us into oblivion and lost. However, the recognition Teddy Baldassarre and Kevin O'Leary have given us certainly helps!

I’d love to watch a video where Michael shows us how he stores his watch and keeps them in such a great collection state. Combined with general overview of the collection
No Lie, the fact that PMichael has a GO panomaticlunar, really shows he's getting into watches. Such an underrated brand/watch in that price range.
Adam needs to have a look at the seiko Marinemaster 300m a great size for him as well as being rather special and just another level of watch from seiko, made in the grand seiko factory and has a grand seiko movement.

Micheal should consider getting into piece unique watches. Something custom made by Grönefeld would fit great into his collection. Sadly they have over 4 years waiting list already

Except for a couple of the watches I definitely think Michael’s choices is getting much better! Vibrant colors and not over Blingy. I had one of those Rolex oyster quartz watches ended up selling it because everyone thought it was a fake as it ticked off the seconds. Wish I would’ve kept it as they are now collectors watches. 🙁

That Lange is fucking amazing! Lange makes the most beautiful movements as well, plus they give all of their movements the same treatment regardless of price point, unlike Patek where only their high price watches get the full treatment, plus Lange offers much more bang for your buck, than Patek for example. Lange is really the pinnacle of watchmaking in my book.
And oh my god!!! You got the Glashütte as well! Awesome, mate! Although, I would’ve gone for the Panoreserve in rose gold or alternatively the limited platinum version of the Panoreserve, but nonetheless it’s a beautiful watch and I love the green dial!
Tons of great pickups. I will always regret selling my 2 tone Oyster quartz back around 2005. Kinda want another now

Thank you for sharing these beautiful pieces with us. It allows me the enjoyment of living vicariously through you; as, a Mom of two, and now a GrandMum of 4, I’ve never spent money on myself beyond very basic necessities, let along luxury.
I simply adore & respect the beauty, construction, craftsmanship & artistic creativity in these watches & it’s a pleasure to see them, as I’ve never owned one in my 54 years of life this far.
In addition, since I’m a large built woman (6’1”) and “big boned” (8.5” wrist) I’ve always had to wear men’s jewelry; as they don’t make women’s large enough for my wrist. I quickly learned that the price of mens watches, bracelets, etc. are considerable for quality, so it’s always remained a dream.

That oyster quartz was an absolute bargain imo , just don’t be leaving it in the safe and forgetting about it with the battery in,may leak , can’t imagine that would be easy to service. 🤪
Flyback is for chronographs watches,you can restart the chrono seconds pushing a button, retrograde instead if when you have the seconds going back like in Michael watch

For those watching, you WILL NOT find a more beautifully finished movement for under $10,000 than the Glashutte Panomaticlunar. It's an affordable, true haute horologie timepiece.

Absolutely. I was surprised to see this one as it's not a hype brand. I've owned 4 GOs and they are great watches with beautiful movements.
They do good work, but we're still big fans of what the great American watchmakers built back in the day.
Love seeing a couple work together. You can tell they really love each other. Micheal is the spokesperson and his boyfriend works the camera. Good couple.
They have to put a Clasp on that AP OAK....But that Lange is da Best watch I ever seen
the dive extention you showed is actually the glidelock system. when you pull it out you got the fliplock system aswell for wet suits
have a llok at Glashutte Original , way cheaper that the ordinary person can afford but just look like

I love Royal Oaks, but that blue and yellow makes it look like a toy watch imo. It's still a really solidly made piece of course, just not my cup of tea. Love all the other additions you've added to your collection!
Yeah I'm not a fan of different color straps, either yellow or blue or at least combine them somehow
you need to be very careful with the one that once was a pocket watch because it doesn’t have a shock absorbing system and the balance shaft will brake quite easily

wow you've picked up some good ones , the blue & yellow is a gem and the Green is a ultra purchase . The Lange is just special .... this is because all the other brands on the market is common , you can see a 7 Eleven store guy wearing APs and PPs Rolex in HKG ! They are very attainable in Asia, but the Lange is considered upper class with taste very appropriate for you. PS noted ....Adam say something ! LOL

Your zeitwerk is absolutely amazing , I’m going to purchase the new zeitwerk in honey gold black dial , I went to the A.LANGE & SOHNE exhibition at harrods solely to look at the new zeitwerk, it’s taken 6 weeks for me to decide datograph or zeitwerk. The zeitwerk won . I have to say it took its time growing on me however now I’m 100% in love with it 😍😍😍😍😍
