      Because Russian Federation has a different project they are working on. Nuclear powered interplanetary tugboat, scheduled for launch in 2032, currently being assembled, and scheduled for testing from 2025. Russian Federation and US, are the only two space faring nations with bulk of experience in how to do space. So any fundamental space travel innovation will always come, for foreseeable future from either US or Russia. China is playing rapid catch up, but it still is far off from being at the cutting edge, like US and Russia. Unlike US, Russian currency is not the global reserve currency, and it cant be just printed against treasuries.. it has to be earned, one rubble at a time. As such, Russia is much more limited in number of projects they can finance in parallel. Space X, is funded by US taxpayers, through NASA, as Space X, is effectively a government subcontractor. US has the money to fund NASA and Space X, in parallel. Russia doesn't. So they pick and choose a particular area, and stick to it, until it's done. The ultimate idea for Russian space industry, is not scientific exploration in the general sense, but industrial colonization of the Solar System.. essentially creating mineral and alloy mining and manufacturing infrastructure entirely in space. So they are laser focused on that objective for their Space Program.

      Because, in Russia, that the production cycle of the ANGARA or SOYUZ-5 rocket is cheaper than the restoration of flying missiles, with the replacement of engines from SPACE-X
      Reusable rockets are already in development...but with a methane, reusable engine. But landing the first steps in the turbulent PACIFIC OCEAN is A BIG PROBLEM.

    The video is old. The Angara-A5 launch vehicle has already been launched three times as part of flight design tests with mock-ups of the payload. The Angara-1.2 light launch vehicle also participated in tests with a real payload. Today, heavy rockets are ready for launches from the Plesetsk cosmodrome and are waiting for their spacecraft. At the same time, the construction of another launch pad at the Vostochny cosmodrome, in the Far East of Russia, is being completed. A mock-up of the Angara-A5NZH launch vehicle has already been delivered there for complex tests at the end of this year.

    Ещё разработаны двигатели новой эры космических двигателей, которых нет ни у одной страны. Это плазматический ракетный двигатель на основе действия плазмы(в этом году завершены испытания успешно), а также ядерно- плазменный двигатель для долгих полетов в космосе. Россия уходит от жидкого топлива. Ангара это ракета отличный новый технологичный сосуд, для таких новых ракетных двигателей.

    • @denslipped
      @denslipped 10 місяців тому +6

      Должен отметить один момент. Плазменные электроракетные двигатели - это двигатели для космических аппаратов. А космический ракетный комплекс "Ангара" - это гарантированный вывод всей номенклатуры космических изделий в космос с российской территории. Сегодня РКН "Ангара" принадлежит российским военным, точнее главный заказчик - МО РФ. На их деньги ракетный комплекс создан, на их же проходит испытания с их космическими аппаратами. "Гражданская" версия, под обычную полезную нагрузку и пилотируемые пуски, сегодня только строится на космодроме "Восточный" в рамках т.н. "второй очереди" строительства. В конце этого года основные строительные работы "пускового минимума" стартовой площадки 1А должны быть завершены. Первый пуск с этого комплекса возможен в начале следующего года, после завершения всех комплексных испытаний.

It is planned to use a nuclear reactor with an electric capacity of 500 kW as the power plant of the Zeus spacecraft. This is the first stage. In addition, Electrodeless plasma rocket engines are under development, which allow you to develop and maintain cruising speed on the Earth-Moon-Mars highway, using even comet matter as fuel. This is the second stage. In addition, powerful pulsed plasma engines with a plasma ejection rate of more than 100,000 m / s are under development, which will allow achieving a flight speed of ~ 300 km / s. Space nuclear reactors over 24 MW are under development for these engines. This will allow space flight to go beyond the ecliptic for flights in the Solar System!

      Well, a small guide to the visual difference between Russian spaceports - Baikonur is located in the steppes of Kazakhstan. There is either sand or snow all around (snow in winter). Plesetsk and Vostochny are located in the taiga. Accordingly, there is a forest around. Well, at the Eastern Cosmodrome, the infrastructure is newer and it has a blue and white palette.

I dont buy that , the can go to the Moon any time they want . Go watch some Moonshots and film from John Lenard Walson , and for the old photo,s of the Moon Alien Hunter , once you seen those there is no denial that the Moon is inhabited .

      No. Back in 1990s engineers proposed projects where stages could return (Baikal-Angara, Korona), but state never ordered them. As example imagine situation: factory produce rocket and then 2-3 years have no work because rocket is reused. Troubles with logistics. Such rocket can send much less weight (but what the reason?).
      So, it is pointless. Maybe in future, in 2030s, when Russia have plans to build base on Moon.

      It not produce GPU, but have a lot of similar processors. GPU is kind of math processor which is mainly useful as accelerator for 3D graphics. De facto only 3D games need it. To draw everything rest you only need 2D accelerator and Russia have own cores for 2D graphic. GPU is also often used as accelerator for other math calculations, but only on personal computers. Because for real task exist special kinds of processors. And Russia produce them: DSP (digital signal processors), useful as example for radars. Or NPU (neutral processor), useful for neutral matrix to accelerate AI. Such processors much better than GPU, so as example latest Mac computers have not only CPU/GPU, but also NPU.
      Russia also have own MCUs, different.
      Mainboards and servers - all this stuff produced in Russia.
      P.S.
      By Russian criminal codex in defense industry (or when work with classified information) usage of foreign chips is denied. That why Russia even have own SSD disks with own controllers (because in controllers is possibly to install trojan horses), same with own keyboards (it is even known examples, when keyloggers was installed in keyboards).

      @@juliap.5375 Baikal and Elbrus are SPARC and ARM based architectures - there are no any `russian` microarchitecture. Lots of fine IR sensors and capacitors, gyroscopes are western made.

    • @juliap.5375
      @juliap.5375 8 місяців тому

      @@nemesioansorin Wrong. Company which produce Elbrus also produced processors with SPARC architecture, they called MCST-R, over 20 years ago, it was attempt of US companies to get access to Soviet engineers. Sun failed, but Intel became more lucky, they acquired hundreds patents and a lot of engineers from Elbrus team, they became part of team which later developed Pentium.
      But Elbrus represent Russian domestic architecture with roots in Soviet supercomputers of 1970s. Something similar to it, more primitive, tried to create Intel with own Itanium processors, but due to overcomplicated process, they closed project. All critical infrastructure in Russia, beginning from passport control, use Elbrus processors.
      Same with rest kinds of units, they also have own domestic architectures.
      Gyroscopes and so on - Russia is one of several countries which produce gyroscopes of all kind without exceptions, from laser to fibre-optic. This is actually one of the most critical and vital technology, used from rockets to satellites, from jets to missiles. Usage of foreign parts in state weapons is criminal case in Russia. In US they produce F-35 as example from parts of dozens countries (because decades ago lost own industry), while in Russia this is impossibly. As example Su-57, it use optic wires instead of classical copper. But Russia not produced own, so state from ground built own factory.

      Russia never left. A bunch of countries in the north-west of Eurasia and the north of North America is not the whole world. And even with this bunch of countries with an inflated sense of self-importance, contacts are still maintained. And not everyone in Europe is as unanimous in regard to Russia as it is presented by the Western media. Hell, we're still supplying gas to Ukraine. What are you even talking about...
      Russia is still supplying the West with various valuable resources, including for aerospace, microprocessor, nuclear and many other industries. Russia is building nuclear power plants in China, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Hungary and Egypt. Conducts joint activities within the framework of BRICS. Participates in the project of the international space station. Delivers passenger trains to Brazil and India, having won a tender from such whales of the industry as Alstom and Siemens. And much more.
