In this video, I decided to make a very interesting cutting tool for my lathe. It is relatively easy to do and if you have a lathe you should be able to handle it :)
I wondered why he had multiple sets of knurling wheels on that tool he made. Then he showed us there's different sizes which I didn't know until now. Nice job! 👍
Man nice to have you back! Very clever project! We need a shop tour! I want to see how you have assembled all your tools and maschines! :-) Stay healthy and greetings from Germany :-)
Good work! That was a clever way to center the tool to the spindle, by welding it in situ. You should mention the knurling tool in the description or something to make it easier for others to find.
This give a great finished look. I thought for sure that plastic cup was going to fly off when it touched the belt. Your shop projects and products will look top quality.
Now that's an interesting thought. I found a knurl tool but it was for a different sized tool holder. Then I made an adapter out of aluminum to adapt from smaller to bigger size. But making one from scratch? Oh I will have to do that.
Yea..in my language this tool called A KARTEL. So when we use it called KARTELING. Thank you for sharing this idea...Knurling tool for lathe machine. Regards 🙏✔👍👌
everything will be knurled from now on haha For the german in me I have to say it though: This is not a cutting tool, its a knurling tool. The material is not cut but deformed ;)
Mistrzu, giętarka ! Może hydrauliczna do grubszych blach, może z jakimś cyfrowym wskaźnikiem kąta, da radę? Fajnie ogląda się Twoje filmiki. Podziwiam. Inspirujesz :D

I recently purchased a set of tap sockets and since using them I wonder how I’ve done without all these years. What’s the 3/8 Chuck your using for the taps? I could do the same thing using a tap socket but wouldn’t want to use an impact to run threads. Is it a standard Chuck but has a 3/8’ths square base? Maybe you could share the brand or show a close up on it, I’d like to get one... Anyway nice knurler, I’m digging the thought you put into it to make it a three size tool! Great job!
Cut the thread with the same pitch as the pitch on knurling tool ,then try to knurl it (i seen it done with single roller ,i wonder if 2 would make it different).

How awesome was that with no crappy music, everything you needed to know and nothing you didn't.
