Think of it as your little sister ignoring you for no reason and just laugh about it. If she's making you jealous with the way she treat other guys well but not to you just proves that she's making an effort, an act for you to notice her. She wants you to chase her. Flip the script. Make her miss you by distancing yourself for a while, but still act cool and happy with the whole situation. I feel another reason this may happen is because it's been more than long enough 3 or so months and the guy still seems unsure/not making the move. As a girl, I would say that this is not always the reason why a girl ghosts you. Another big reason could be because something that you did or said could have been interpreted as a red flag. You can try giving her some space for a day or two then messaging her again. If she doesn’t respond after 2 days then I would cut your losses and move on.

I find this logic to be accurate, if you're a shy guy (such as myself) it is difficult to spark interest in a conversation. Especially, since the girl is vivacious and outgoing, it's kind of hard to find topics that pique her interest. I'm a shy guy who is very taciturn when it comes to speaking with women, especially if its a girl that I have a crush on. I tend to play it safe by saying bland questions such as "How are you?" and/or "How's your day?". This perpetual dialogue becomes dreary and predictable. I really don't know what to say, i'm a humdrum person that can't seem to captivate her. The feelings I have for her are platonic, but I don't know where to advance from here. As a girl, I would say that this is not always the reason why a girl ghosts you. Another big reason could be because something that you did or said could have been interpreted as a red flag. You can try giving her some space for a day or two then messaging her again. If she doesn’t respond after 2 days then I would cut your losses and move on.

I think that if they wait for an entire WEEK to then realise that something was "up", is too long. By that amount of time they might have lost the girl already. 2 or 3 days is already a hell of a long time on a girl's head, and you guys need to realise that the clock is always ticking in our head. In this case, it's his job to fix things and reach out to figure, but a week is too long. I'd say 2/3 days max to reach and try to fix/manage/figure out (if it's a guy I really like). I find this logic to be accurate, if you're a shy guy (such as myself) it is difficult to spark interest in a conversation. Especially, since the girl is vivacious and outgoing, it's kind of hard to find topics that pique her interest. I'm a shy guy who is very taciturn when it comes to speaking with women, especially if its a girl that I have a crush on. I tend to play it safe by saying bland questions such as "How are you?" and/or "How's your day?". This perpetual dialogue becomes dreary and predictable. I really don't know what to say, i'm a humdrum person that can't seem to captivate her. The feelings I have for her are platonic, but I don't know where to advance from here.
