If the subject wasn't heinous murder, this act Watts attempts would be hilarious. It's completely clear that he's been doing it all his life. Any time shit gets hot, he starts using his "breathless Marilyn Monroe" voice. And the best part of this video is when Tammy points out that he's not been sad or cried, etc and his children have been gone more than 48 hours...... the very next thing, he SNIFFS!!!!! OMG, he's pathetic.

Yes, he's so easily suggestable. As soon as she gives him a way to not seem like the total murderous monster he is, he leaps and latches onto it.
And, as you highlighted, attempted a pitiful sniffle only when it was pointed out to him he hadn't cried. By the dominant female in the room. Beta all the way. It was genius to have an expert woman join the interrogation team and administer the polygraph. He seems to have real problems asserting himself with women. Unless he's strangling them, of course! Weak-willed jerk.

That's exactly my thoughts too. I say "actually" and "to be honest" as a habit, not because I ever considered lying. I call my kids "those/these kids" when speaking with others all the time and it can be a positive or negative issue. Then a sentence or more later refer to them as "my babies". To really analyze the linguistics of an interview, one must have some knowledge of the person's routine speech patterns. As most things, it's not a one size fits all. Had that have been me sitting there, while I'd have been innocent and an emotional roller coaster wreck, I may very well have said "those kids" and "these kids" myself. Although, I would also use "my kids"and/or "my babies" as well.

I would have told them to f*ck off and find my family immediately before I lose my mind and probably be sedated if my daughter was missing. There would be no interrogation because I'd be so f*cking angry they were even considering me and were wasting time. That's the part I always think about when I watch interrogations of people because I know I wouldn't be in these situations and I'd be furious at the implication.

He was a covert narcissist and sociopath as I discovered while everyone thought he was the greatest guy. He helped out but there was always a price. He couldn't fake emotions even after his grandfather passed and copied my grieving after a few days of no reaction. I had health problems and once my lung collapsed. I could barely speak and begged him to call 911. He called the doctor and made it sound like a minor issue and deserted me for hours as I struggled with each breath. As time went on he led a double life and when I found out the mask came off and was terrifying to see the rage and hatred. I was afraid to sleep for weeks and did grey rock until he decided to divorce. He also started using new phrases he'd never used which he clearly picked up from his side piece. Loved when Tammy shoved the photo of Bella and Celeste under his nose. She wanted to reinforce his lack of reaction during the whole time it was on the table. Any normal father would have been devastated and inconsolable, seeing a picture of his children who were 'missing' but that vile beast couldn't even muster up a watering of the eyes. He only teared up when Tammy cornered him on that and only because he was fearful for himself and the direction this interview was taking.

Great analysis! Chris's real self was just under the surface...tightly held and masked by his nice guy word salad routine, compliant effusive behavior and good deed doer persona. He rarely said much so no one could really call him out on it. I think his saying less led to him being able to keep his mask on. The monster was always there.

To share the fact that he was there for her colonoscopy AND Prep for it inducing the visual to the listener of her running to the bathroom all day is a gross and personal inference. Congratulating himself for that and laughing at Shanann. He clearly enjoyed this memory and the laughter of law enforcement for this visual. This is so weird and disrespectful to Shanann and their intimate knowledge, something that would be embarrassing to her, degrading and sensitive to her. ALL THE WHILE KNOWING HE HAS KILLED THEM ALL! STUFFED THEM ALL FOUR AWAY TEE HEE HEE. IT ALSO REMINDS US THAT THIS EXTREME DISRESPECT FOR HER SUFFERING EXISTED PRIOR, GIVEN THE PREGNANCIES ALL HIGH RISK. THE PAIN AND ANQUISH SHANANN WENT THROUGH TO BRING HIS CHILDREN HERE AT HIGH RISK TO HERSELF AND THE BABIES. THE PG. HE REQUESTED FOR NICO EVEN. HES REVEALLING AGAIN HOW INSINCERE AND EVIL HE IS AS A MAN, HUSBAND, FATHER , SON IN LAW AND SON. HIS MOM WENT THROUGH PG. AND BIRTH TO BRING HIM HERE. ITS DISQUISTING HOW HES LAUGHING AND PROVIDING DETAILS . HE THINKS HES FUNNY AND CHARMING THE HERE.. AGENTS

He doesnt even seem anxious about being questioned by police. Just relaxed and taking it all in. He's a like toaster , it doesnt care what kitchen its is put in, so no panic over prison or anything else. So weird that by going through the motions, people were fooled.
