I have been through a major loss several years ago, and when I was talking to the police I couldn't hardly even focus on the questions they were asking, I can't imagine being able to casually banter about my work. Either slipped her oxycoden or he did it from behind to where she couldn’t fight. It’s amazing how he keeps trying to get people to believe he is and has always been such a good guy…..all the while he had just killed his family two days earlier. If I had seen my entire family dead, I would be in a psych ward, and to think that he actually did it and is talking like everything is fine …..and don’t forget he is a “good guy”. @@gabe-po9yi Yes I agree. There is still much more to this case than meets the eye.
It has a mixture of corruption and deception going on. Why was the crime scene (the house) shut down in a matter of a few hours? They had to shut it down quick and nail someone for it. There is undeniable evidence that he did not act alone in the planning of these murders which is absolutely not conspiracy theories. He had no real plan in place to tell people where they were other than saying they were going on a play date which is ridiculius in itself when they were meant to be getting ready for school, so all eyes were going to be on him later that day anyway, whether Shanann's friend turned up or not.
If you look at this case with an open mind you will see it is a massive spider's web with each part of the web an intricate plan leading towards an end goal. You can almost smell it its palpable. Who Googled CW and Shanann in 2017? Plan Part 1 launched. Who started work at Anadarko and within a few weeks was secretly courting Chris? Part two underway. Whose phoned pinged in Fredrick the day of the murders?
Please everyone, for the love of God, realise that you can do all the psychological analysis of CW you want but you need to realise others were involved in moving him towards these hideous crimes.
He is definitely involved, but ask yourself is he truly the biggest spider sitting on his web?

Chris Watts is not only a liar. His limited knowledge (and understanding) of individuals and human relations seems to be learned from cheap books, magazines, films and so on. When asked if Shan'ann accused him of anything, he answers with a stereotype; "being a woman" (making it a general assumption that women are jalous and ask if there's somebody else)..."took ME from you" arrogantly implying that he is the big prize for a woman (at 27:05). He is probably making up most of what he says, living in his own make-believe reality.

I don't think it's a coincidence she was working at the same company as Chris Watts a year after her Facebook searches of Shanaan Watts. She hooked him from their very first emails. She lets him know she's interested but then pulls back, acknowledging his great life and kids (despite claiming she didn't know he was married). She baited him from the beginning.
Then started laying the breadcrumbs of her jealousy of his children. She made sure he knew they would be an obstacle.
Then his attempt to get Shanaan to miscarry. He won't tell who gave him the medication he used. And at the same time Nicole was telling him SHE wanted to be the one to give him his first son. So the unborn baby was now an obstacle.
She got him to tell her all the marital issues, then actively made herself to be completely different from Shanaan. She was still controlling him, but in a different way than his mother and wife. It was more subtle. She was putting pressure on him, getting upset and setting up scenarios where he had to chase her/comfort her.
She had everything to do with those murders even if she wasn't there.

I’ve never seen this section of the Watts interview before. I guess they only edit in the highlights mostly where Ronnie Watts comes in and Chris confesses, so it’s nice to see the other neglected parts which are also telling.
When watching, I will say what went through my mind was that whatever love might have once existed between Chris Watts and his wife was clearly gone by this time. He speaks of her with no warmth at all. Almost like he considers her a hindrance in his life. My takeaway of this clip.

He's not telling Tammy that when he didn't have any Anadarko gift cards he bought some off the internet to buy things for himself and NK said he did this secretly so he had money Shannan didn't know about and couldn't spend........NK had also advised him to open a separate secret bank account so he could save for an apartment and plan his future. He claims Shannan handled all the finances yet he had credit cards and was able to extract cash from the ATM to pay the babysitter after he had his last date with NK.......after he had used his credit card to pay for dinner with her. NK knowing his financial and marital situation, as a married father, still let him pay for all their dates.........where I come from we go Dutch (paying our own way or paying for half), especially early in a new relationship when getting to know each other. And having dated single fathers we know they have tight budget so cheap dates and paying our share is only fair. NK comes across as extremely selfish and unaware.

@@juanitarichards1074 Oh I agree he already knew he was going to kill her so didn't care about her reaction. My point was more that I don't think he did have his own secret credit card or account. Shanann looked up the menu of the Lazy Dog online from her business trip because she could see what he'd spent and that it was more than for just one person. So it could have been his own card... but she certainly had access to knowing what he'd spent on it.
I actually think that the fact he didn't have control over his money was a huge factor in what happened. He said at one point that he didn't deal with their bank accounts at all or have a clear idea of how much Shanann actually earned. My personal impression is that they were hugely in debt. But if he admitted to that it would be an obvious motive for premeditation and wouldn't fit with his moment of rage narrative which he finds easier to live with.

@@Pixietoria From what NK told police, her suggestion that he open his own secret bank account was very recent, in the last week or 10 days of SWs life.....it may have even been after they returned from NC or even while SW was in Arizona.......whether he had actually opened one we don't know. The mortgage was in his name alone.......and Frankie has said that every month SW have Watts a large chunk of her income to pay bills with. Of course he knew how much she was earning. She was also helping him with his own Level account to help him win the bonus car he wanted. So she was running her own business and his as well. They had been in debt for a long time, it wasn't recent. His decision to kill her was more about NK, who was putting huge pressure on him to move out, she threatened to start dating other men and indeed put her dating profile back up. Watts was upset by this. NK had expected him to return from NC with the separation a done deal and him ready to move out immediately. She had apartments lined up for him to look at but he had begun dragging his feet and didn't seem to keen to go and see any of them I think she gave him an ultimatum.....even though he has admitted he was planning to kill SW weeks or even longer, I think he would have taken more time and planned it more carefully if not for NK's ultimatum which put him in panic mode. I don't think initially he had planned on killing the kids, but NK had made it clear she didn't want them in her new life together. She reminded him how expensive child support is and now he would have a new baby to support as well. She let him know she would not be helping him financially, that she was careful with her money etc and had savings she wouldn't be losing because of his financial problems. She might also have asked him how it could work between them if he was always popping over to see the new baby and the other kids, when NK wanted to have a baby with him. It would all be too messy and she didn't want complications. There are many other indications that he knew more about their finances than he admitted too, and that he knew the new PW to SWs phone but had to pretend he didn't. If all her PWs were saved to the cloud....and her texts and emails he would know everything she had been telling her friends about what was going on. See Martin DeCoder and Deceptions Indicated about how Watts in his prison interview parroted phrases from SWs texts to her friends.....he had read them......before or after she was dead. But he couldn't afford to look like a snoop so made out he didn't know her new PW in front of the detective and Nichol Atkinson.......

Chris wasn’t smart distancing himself from Shanann, it assured he wouldn’t be kept in the loop concerning her future plans and actions like #1) not knowing she had an appointment at her OB’s the next morning or it slipped his mind. Either way Nikki was alerted early on that something was wrong since SW didn’t show up for the appointment and no one had canceled it. Now for #2 SW changed the passcode to her phone, so his (Chris) plan to send fake texts by her from her phone was thwarted. Nikki had to tell him the new passcode. Nikki told him before she had a chance to realize maybe she shouldn’t even let him know she knew it, but she sincerely wanted to find her friend so I understand. Thank God for Nikki (SW’s best friend) in all of this, she is a hero.
LE dropped the ball here too, because at this point with SW’s car keys, purse and kid’s meds being left behind and now her phone !? This should have been the point where the house was seized and declared a crime scene.
