Did I pay too much for the collection?
no, i wish i had that luck! You should be able to make back the money easily, I think you should be able to get your estimated amount.
YES YOU DID SIR
No..... Definitely no.... U hit the jackpot. U bought the dream of thousands of adults like me😂.

I hate when people at yard sales and flea markets wanna quote eBay prices. I always say well we aren't online. They don't wanna talk about ebay fees all the research time it takes to clean them and take pictures and list them and then pack them and ship them. I got a big lot of a couple vehicles about 40 figures and about 100 weapons and parts for 5 bucks at the local goodwill. I'm in the process of going thru them all and looking them up and it's a long process.
I couldn’t of said it better myself. People also forget that they will have to claim those sales for their taxes as well. I can’t tell you how many people that I have had that same exact conversation with. It’s frustrating. Thanks for watching. Keep on grinding!
Those Joe’s are a solid pick up.
Thanks man! We ended up piecing them out.
As a joe collector and seller, you killed it. From what the video shows depending on the condition, you should get back almost up to 3 times what you paid for it. Depending on what was in the lot.
Thank you! We did ok on them. It was more of us paying for our education. I had a lot of fun going through them all. The vehicles were in rougher shape than I original thought. We still made some money on them all. Thanks for watching!
Hey man, I just watched your video again and had to comment on what I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Had a guy post on Facebook marketplace he wanted to get rid of a box of joe stuff from the attic and had 500 on the lot. From the pics, I asked him if he didn't sell it would he let me come pick through it and he agreed. Long story short, I opend the box and there was a lot of randomness. I asked if 80 bucks would do it and he agreed. Got it back home and my mind was blown. Most everything was complete and unbroken. Talley it up and around 1500 in value. If and when I sell that gentleman will be getting a call to let him know I owe him money. Thanks again and love you're videos!!
The Thunder Mixer!!! Haha love that backstory
I need that Thunder Mixer!
You did okay on the Joe’s - only issue is that if you piece them out (a lot of time) they will sell slow for good profit. If you bundle them you should double your money and move off them fast - less profit though
Sometimes I’m ok with the amount of time it takes to piece items out. Going through one by one will really help to increase my knowledge on the GI Joes. This is what I like to call “Paying for an education”
That's a pretty good price you should have picked up some of the comic books there was a spidey super stories in there anything to do with Spider-Man outside in media besides Marvel where he makes an appearance to help kids learn how to read is always good to pick up those Comics are worth a lot of money now
I actually did pick up a couple of the comics from him. Spider-Man stuff always does great for me.
just found your channel brother! loving every moment of it . Cheers
Thanks man! I appreciate it.
That Spider-Man door handle was cool!
I thought so as well. He actually threw it in for free before I left.
@@pickingandpunching sometimes it's not about the profit it's about having something that's cool and nobody else has. Right? Sometimes anyway.
@@l.greenemachine66 absolutely! Yes, I do this as a business but I also have fun with it. I pick for my collection as well.
G.I.Joe rocks!
Yes they do!
Thus video is boss AF pick in punch
Thanks man!
I think you did ok on the Joe's
I know vintage storm shadow sells for big bucks. Even guns and packs sell too
Glad to hear! I need to go through them this up coming week.
I cant wait till they start to reissue 1980's Gi Joe with the O-rings. Because its coming. Just take a look at the Transformers Universe.
That would be awesome!
Absolutely hate it when someone agrees to a price and then regrets it and starts rifling through what they’re trying to sell! To me that’s going back on your word.
Yea, it’s def frustrating when that happens. It sucks when it’s an item you really want as well. Then you are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
@pickingandpunching I'd just tell em the frank stands open amd move on lol
I don't like it on that end, but if some of these Joes were from his childhood and he had some idea of the value then I have to feel for him. It's tough to let it go even if you know you need to and you can't be picky about the price you're charging. It's just a tough mental wall that's more than just the value estimation... there's intangible / sentimental value you have to wrangle with.
Good buy on the joes. If they are 80s joes some early ones can go for hundred a pop. Cobra commander storm shadow. Snake eyes zapp. If in great condition of corse......
It wasn’t as good as we were hoping. Watch the follow up video to it and you will see what we mean.
Where can I view the GI Joe Figures at??
My link to IG is in the description. Send me a message and I can send you pics.
Yo Joe! Yo Score! Lol
😂😂😂
Hard to say if you paid too much, looks like a ton of figures that could bring some good money. Saw a Redskin's cup. I wonder what the market is for that with the teams name change.
Sports market is highly depended on the teams performance. Washington’s team is currently in disarray. There are some hardcore fans but there stuff just isn’t really moving right now.
That was a good buy for sure..
Thank you! It was a lot of work piecing it out but I learned a lot from it.
I would have paid $300 those vehicles bring in good money for me ill post individual parts first or the whole thing and make a FAT PROFIT... Call that dude back for those wf toys very unique stuff..👍🏼
@@davidestrella2495 he def had a bunch of unique stuff for sale.
Go Joe!
I know that you are a “Hobby Hero” but what about a “Real American Hero”?
@@pickingandpunching well America is the land of hobbies so kind of the same
@@hobbyhero6973 touché
I have been collecting 80's G.I. Joe's, TNMT, and Heman toys since around 2006. It is really hard to say if you paid too much or not as I did not see everything you bought. What I did see didn't really scream Big $, however a very small piece of rare plastic can go for a lot so you might have a very hard to find or rare piece or two or three that you could profit from.
There wasn’t any major high end figures in there. We did find a bunch of $10 plus figures. We won’t get rich or lose money. This is what I call “paying for my education”
@@pickingandpunching 75x figures for $10, is still $750.. which is $500 more than you paid, right? Sell the vehicles too, and I think you made out pretty ok.
@@blissfairchild7194 we have done ok. It’s just going to take us a while to sell them all off. We def paid for our education on these. More importantly we learned a lot about GI Joes. That alone was worth it’s weight in gold.
The return time is gonna lag like crazy. If you sell individually asking market price you should make a profit. Problem is not everyone is into loose figures. Hope you update us on the progress down the line.
I’m going to make a follow up video very soon in regards to what we found when we went through it all.
I don't know about that , moc joes are getting more expensive I see people collecting lots of loose one because it's cheaper that way. There's defiantly a market for loose complete joes in good condition tho .
I am interested in some Joes and if you'd sell me a bag of weapons for the 80s, Joes, if you have a bunch as loose.
They are all up for sale as we speak. Hit me up on IG.
Where are you located
I’m located around the Tampa area.
@@pickingandpunching nice my brother used to be a police officer for saint pete police and panellis county sheriffs department
Where are u based. I'm in New Zealand
I’m based in Florida in the US.
I sell a lot on eBay.
Cool, do you take PayPal?
No.
WTF?!?
Right! 😂
without knowing who you got it's hard to tell if it was a good deal or not...how many hand a broken crotch, broken fingers, and cracked elbows? All of that counts.
I just posted up a follow up video where you can see everything.
U Definitely missed out at that first garage sale on those little toys in the case I’ve sold those plenty of times for good money. Either way keep it up you’re doing good
Thank you!
lots of those joes aren't gi joe and then some are on different bodies as well without weapons and there condition the money isn't really there sorry. that price isn't bad if you planned on keeping them for rebuilds etc. but to resell not worth it.
I def overpaid for this lot. It was an expensive leading experience. I learn a lot from this lot. We did sell off a bunch of $10 figures. We will make a little profit on this lot. It will just take me a long time to sell them off.
