Yes, please do a media video. For a person like myself who has limited storage space, media is a direction I'm getting into. Knowing that media items weigh the same on each format is helpful for listing. CDs 5oz, DVDs 3oz.
Love the vids man they have helped a lot. High str items have saved my business. I see people everyday on marketplace trying to offload their entire eBay inventory and it’s just low str junk, people think they can sell anything if it’s “vintage”. This is why we will rise while they fall.

Today I couldn’t believe my eyes when I found a magnavox vhs/ dvd recorder with remote. Had to pay $20, but looks like I can sell for $140. Finding electronics in my area is a miracle! I think I just happened to walk in right as the guy was putting things out.

Do you always sell the wifi routers with power cable and ethernet cable? I've gotten a couple free that only had ethernet cables and don't know if it's worth trying to sell without the power adapter. (I've also heard that you need to plug them in and clear any previous settings / passwords from the old owners?)

Good list. I avoid selling anything that goes in you (food) or on you (makeup) though. Too many potential issues from VERO's, allergic reactions, spoiled, etc. Too many risks to deal with.

I am trying to get a group of seniors together to sell their gently used stuff in an effort to downsize. Sell through rate will probably not be good on most of their items. What can we do to sell stuff like that? I would lot up some of the clothing, take great photos, and pay for eBay promotion. What else do you suggest we do with long-tail items? On 3/10 I have to call the company and get them unlocked. Usually takes 15 minutes

notice you mention the cost to ship that vacuum hose was only $9 even though the buyer paid $20. Did you opt out of the option to offer the buyers equal shipping discounts?
Generally shipping includes handling in business. This s and h line in receipt s.
This is all stuff I used to buy to resell but I never find this stuff anymore. I guess too many resellers here. I am not finding near the good inventory that I used to.
Why are there so many reviews saying that you don’t respond to a lot of customers issues. Is there an issue with your account. I know a lot about eBay and can help you out
I've heard many UA-cam sellers say "good" STRs differ for different products. With this in mind when you are going through individual products like this and you say "Make sure it has a strong sell through rate..." (about 1:15ish) it would be really helpful if you could estimate what is a good STR for this product and/or catagory, in your experience.
I talk about this often on my channel. 80% 90 sell through rate or better. Regardless of category and items. that’s what I recommend but you can adjust that for your business and goals as you see fit 😃

How many items do you have for sale?
He has done videos on this subject. I think last I heard he scaled down to about 1500 items but usually stays above 2500 items

No the mistake I made early on was not recognizing when listed where $40 shipped or $40 plush shipping. I don’t buy items I buy sell through rate. If it has demand I don’t care what it is I sell it.

8 sold and 16 listed is not 50% STR. It is 33.33%. Which is still very good. I know most resellers believe that the math is simply relative. That being said, what other math are resellers doing wrong....

In the above example 16 are listed and 8 of those currently listed will sell in 90 days. 50% of the currently listed stock sold through. If you’d like to use the language of possible future listings that may or may not come. Or if you’d like to use the verbiage that there will always be 8 sold and 16 listed you can do so. I calculate the sell through based on the language of. How many of the currently listed items will sell in 90 according to the last 90 days of sold data. Calculate it how ever you’d like. Run your business how ever you’d like and let others do the same
