Feels like a bit autogenerated this comment, but yeah, I think it is nice to see how we can work smarter and not lockourselves in a corner with hardbaked looks

i just wish it was a bit cheaper, or had some limited function trial, because for your average guy, their selling price is way too steep. but then again i think this plugin’s intended audience was for bigger production crews. one can only wish haha

Yeah. But also it depends on if you have the needs. As a videographer or someone working as a professional, this is the cost of a days shooting per year. So in the long run it’s not that bad. It then again, am I using it as much as I thought I would? Mjaaa.. sometimes it’s amazing. But sometimes a good grain gets you a long way as well

AVOID Video Village at all costs, they have not phone or chat support, just unresponsive email. And after paying $500 for their perpetual lifetime license, Davinci no longer accepts their plugin and they're doing nothing about it. They can fuck themselves.

Really? 😨 I had no idea, and also no issues at the moment. Is the perpetual another plugin than the yearly?

@@AlexReinholdsson no no, like I paid $500 for the lifetime ownership of Scatter. So if they don’t fix it I’m screwed.

Ah shit, was it with an update or what? Like I used it yesterday and it worked. But that seems a bit weird tho, it is not by any means a cheap plugin either :/

@@AlexReinholdsson UPDATE: They banned me for life and refunded my $500 for leaving bad reviews about them 😂 As in they offered no solution to the problem, none, didn’t even try and help me, just went straight to ‘here’s your money never buy from us again’. That’s what Video Village thinks of their customers. All I wanted was solution options and they ignored me for days, only responding to me when I gave a bad review and threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau-which I’ve now done. I have screenshots of my interactions with them. You think they’d be a bit more understanding for someone who invested $500 in one of their products. One of the owners even mocked/insulted my Gmail handle 😂 Avoid this company at all costs!!!

@@AlexReinholdsson UPDATE: An email from the owner:
      “…Jarrod,
I have refunded the plugin. Due to your behavior here, we do not wish to have you as a customer. You will be unable to purchase any products from us in the future.
      Wil…”
Be warned people, ask for help, critique any aspect of their products, leave an honest, negative review, or do anything that they deem unacceptable and they will BAN YOU FOR LIFE. They don’t care you entrusted them with $500 of your money. If you hate a problem with their plugin functioning, it is your problem. Not theirs. They’ve made it very clear they will censor any honest reviews about their “professional” company. Disgusting.
