It's such a simple concept, but I never really think about it and just use windows all around my houses to make it look interesting from the inside and outside. Leaving empty walls gives you so many more options! Thanks, that one was really helpful
Agreed, except very very expensive cuz you would have to need a lot of cobblestone depending on how big your bases are, I mean why not just use block that have the same top texture of a furnace so you know not very expensive?
@@mazendude7420 I don't think there's that many blocks with the same top texture as a furnace. Also, cobblestone isn't that expensive. If your using it early game, you won't need much. If you're building a mega base with it, it'll most likely get finished late game, in which case you should have more than enough cobblestone for a build. Add to the fact that cobblestone is an easily renewable resource via cobblestone generators, and it's pretty clear to see that furnaces are not that expensive to make.

This is one off the reasons that you are one of my favorite building youtubers, you take the viewers on a journey of how you got to the final result of your buildings.😀
Some more tips I’ve learned recently *Use textured blocks before adding different blocks*: Don’t start with terra-cotta, start with brick or granite, then add terra-cotta and polished granite. *Use gradients*: Put darker blocks on the bottom to create a gradient that shows a more natural worn look. *Add trim and edging*: Use a different block on the edges, like what is shown on the roof and with the fences at the top. This can also be done with walls on the corners, or with roads use a different block from the road and sidewalk. Also, adding trim around doors will break up the build and make it look less plain. *Layer details*: When making a flowerbed, start with leaves or y’all flowers, then add small flowers in front. My favorite combination so far is leaves, then red berry bushes in front. *Add various custom plants*: When making palm trees, use different kinds, some with jungle logs that bend over, others with fences that stand upright. Bushy trees with hanging trees or for small trees like in cities, lollipop with oval/cone shaped trees. *Sightlines*: Have a focal point that your build naturally faces or as you walk up to the build it should compliment the view. This will make screenshots of your build much nicer. *Mix in non-full blocks*: Like with walls, other nonfull blocks break up a build and add detail. Fences, gates, stairs, slabs, glass panes, trap doors, anvils, and carpets are great additions to any build. *Build at an angel or have rounded edges*: Even for modern builds, there can be a cool angled roof or room that makes the design more interesting. *Add an interesting fence*: BdoubleO had an interesting fence/wall design for his mansion in Season 7, and in season 6 Keralis made a wall out of trap doors.
I guess another tip you could say is to just have fun with building. Don’t worry about everything being practical and useful. If you want to add a completely useless pile of leaves, then go for it!! Idk- whatever makes you happy with your build in the end is always the best! ✨😌
