@Just a guy who's a hero for fun according to the fandom it only works on vines and kelp, if that is what you are trying then I assume it must be a Java feature
This video is super useful. Btw just a fun fact: stone buttons are also a great edition to your wooden houses, because then they will look like big nails.

CONGRATULATIONS!!🎉 You have been such a guide and inspiration in my learning to build creatively, and I Still learned new tips here! I also respect that you promote other builders who’ve inspired You, like Bdubs and the campfire video. Also, beautiful editing, and playful descriptions. I’ve loved seeing you grow. I started following you awhile ago, when my account was still my “real” name. Btw, a (small?) request: I noticed you use customized paintings. Is this a mod? If not, would you consider making a tutorial on how to create those? You have a knack for making the complicated seem easier.
Thank you so much!! Those paintings are just a part of my resource pack! There’s some really helpful tutorials out there on how to make them which I followed when I was creating mine :)
I love how beginner friendly this video is!! I highly appreciate it! I haven't played my Minecraft in AGES and so much has changed. This is just what I needed! 💞
Having watched your channel grow from the days of having only a few hundred subscribers to the current 100,000 has been pretty amazing. You're always full of unique ideas and brimming with creativity in your videos and it makes me look forward to seeing how your channel grows.
When I do the glass fog effect, I topically do about 8-16 layers of glass, just personal preference, but I think this range is where it looks best while taking the least amount of time/resources
Another thing that Bedrock doesn't include is the fact that you can only have armor stands on top of snow layers if there are four or more layers, which is the exact height of a slab, so it would be too tall. I experimented and found that surprisingly a cauldron is a good replacement for that helmet on a crafting table one.
Marloe, you've made it so far, and your channel has been growing so fast! I've been watching your videos for years, and you've improved so much with your videos and content. I'm so excited to see you 100K, and I'm sure 200K won't be too far along. Keep up the amazing work, we're all so proud of you.
I have a blue castle before and it was terrible at first since i was expecting the outcome to be bad but because of this video i motivated myself to finish it and adjust my building skills a little bit more and i was soo proud of it
When working with unstripped logs, don't forget that you can use other materials that better match the color of the "bark." For example, spruce wood goes well with oak logs, dark oak with spruce, and diorite with birch. You can also get the fog effect by alternating colors of stained glass instead of having air gaps. This also lets you achieve the same fog "density" in half the space, though you still need to use the same amount of glass. I also think it looks better since with the tighter banding on the edges of the stained glass area as each new layer starts stands out less to the eye than it does when using air gaps. Another cool way to enhance the fog effect is to put lava under the glass. Not only does this provide light, but the animated pattern of the lava kind of looks "cloudy" and it can give a subtle cloudy look to the "fog." I gotta say, I feel like an odd one out in that I t feel that most of the meta on how to build has, imo, strayed from MC's aesthetic strengths, and become overly detailed, noisy, and messy looking. Every building, especially small ones, does not need three block thick walls so you can incorporate ridiculous "dimension" into them. It doesn't need an obnoxious mix of blocks making up every surface, sometimes a wall should just be a wall, and not a weird collage of five different materials. Gradients are typically way over-done, and need to be subtler or on a larger scale to not look weird. Just as interiors can be super dense in design (I have a love of doing very small interiors, like even 2x3 bedrooms, and figuring out how to make them distinct time and again while incorporating sensible and varied interiors), they often shouldn't be. You need to give space to breathe.
The message at the end I think is what I needed to hear. I get really depressed about how my builds never look how I want them to compared to what I see on UA-cam or something. Your advice made me step back and rethink a bit. Thank you.
I enjoyed this video through all 25:48. Good job on concept, tempo, visuals and narration. Also your vilage! Dude, it's awesome! Looking forward for more of your content.
Additional trick for the minecart seat, you can use blocks like soul sand, end portal frames, mud blocks, or others that are a pixel short to hold the minecart in place and then piston push the block in place, it allows you to decorate it like a normal seat, while also allowing you to sit on it!

This is the first time I have seen one of your videos and I am very impressed, I enjoy building a lot and I love your out of the box ideas and your attention to depth. You have definitely earned yourself a subscriber. Could you recommend any bedrock texture packs or shaders? Congratulations on 100k subs
Personal tips: . Don't overdo the "ruined" look for roads and buildings, UNLESS they're meant NOT to be lived in or used much. Doesn't look cool, just makes you look homeless. . Don't clutter up details together. I generally find that any given detail/texture is best separated from any other by about 3 to 5 blocks. Any farther apart, and you get back to having a boring flat space...any closer and it's just annoyingly busy and tight. Be spacious. Minecraft is huge, use it. . Be subtle. A building tip for worn down/rotting builds that one is making, use a combo of moss and mangrove roots. It helps gives a convincing look that it is indeed looking worn down or unatable to be in. For better context, a friend of mine wanted his home to look like it's rotting away and said we can use moss for it, but it was lacking a bit still even after tge moss was placed, so I decided to grab my mangrove root blocks and raplaced some of the logs that were there (they were spruce and oak). It made the place look so unstable that it looked kinda spooky and he loved the look!
Wow. I actually saved this video because not only does it show the tips and tricks, but it also gives small explanations behind each one of them. I've seen videos where it's like "make this because it looks like this", but the way this video explained that made it so much better somehow. Idk. This was just a great video imo.
If you use a campfire as a river or seaside dock, you can place kelp on it for an added touch. As if it got washed up during the last rain or something.

Great video. 👏 When you first start the game it's so difficult, especially if you're new to minecraft. Make a video on how to make a good start, what's important to collect & maybe a cheap starter base. So many people give up because of getting a bad start, they just have a field with lots of full chests & they get overwhelmed & demoralized. You're the man to change that. 😉

Congrats on 100k subs, and thanks for all the tips!
I’m so glad I clicked on that tektopia video of yours all that time ago ^-^
Thank you so much for even covering the inside of builds. That seems much less common in building tutorial videos.
Great video. 👏
When you first start the game it's so difficult, especially if you're new to minecraft.
Make a video on how to make a good start, what's important to collect & maybe a cheap starter base. So many people give up because of getting a bad start, they just have a field with lots of full chests & they get overwhelmed & demoralized.
You're the man to change that. 😉
Wooo well done. Your videos really supported me to build in Minecraft. 😉
This is the definitive Minecraft build tutorial video. Absolutely perfect in every way. Fantastic work. 👍
that wizard tower @7:02 is epic, omg; I have a bunch of distant mountains around my starting area where I might try to build something similar
