@@justsaybobby What is "the action" you refer to in your comment? Please explain, and also explain the difference between the Korg B2 and the Roland FP 30 X regarding to the action.
That's definitely a matter of opinion. In terms of features the P125 is a better option, but they're quite different feeling and sounding instruments so it's worth trying both.
two questions: 1. would u say this piano is suitable for all levels of piano skills? i consider myself fairly beginner and have been looking for a decent 88 key upgrade 2. do you think this piano will last, let's say 10 years? by 'last' i mean being effective and comparable newer ones since i want this to be a long term investment
1, It is definitely a good instrument for a beginner through to an upper-intermediate level player. More advanced piano players would likely prefer to be playing on a decent quality acoustic piano - likely grand piano. It has simple functionality but a nice keyboard and sounds which are important. 2, In terms of investment - one way of thinking of ANY digital instrument (piano, keyboard, guitar amp etc.) is it's a bit like a computer. While it won't date quite as badly as a laptop, the technology is still moving on which is why most manufacturers replace their models every 2-3 years. The B2 is Korg latest digital piano so it is better than buying something at the end of it's cycle. In terms of resale value, I would expect a 10-year-old digital piano to be worth around 30-50% of the new price, although that is just an estimate looking back. It's hard to know what the economy will do going forward!
I love this keyboard ! I have had mine for 10 years now and It's been one of the best things I have ever bought in my life. It's basically a portable piano. It weighs about 74 pounds. It weighs less than an 8 year old chubby kid and definitely less than a upright piano.

Hi Georgia, I’ve seen a couple of people run into issues with that because it’s different from most other digital pianos. On the bottom of the B2 about half way along is a socket to take that plug. Whats your opinion?
I personally prefer the P45 for the piano sound and touch, but B2 for the EP and organ sound and touch. I don’t have much experience with the Roland sorry but the feedback I’ve seen is that the B2 is a better instrument
@@lovemusictaupo9693 How about the polyphony with the korg? i see that with classic piano and german concert piano sounds it drops to 60 since they use 2 samples per note. Have you been able to reach past that limit?
No. Never. Not even close to it I would think. 60 notes at the same time is a lot! Even playing big Rachmaninov pieces on it I didn’t notice any drop off.
Quick question! Are you able to add more piano/instrument sounds in addition to the 12 built-in sounds? Great videos btw, thank you!
You can't add sounds to the built-in sounds, but you can use the USB output to control a MIDI sound device (like a recording program or Mainstage) which will have limitless sounds
@@lovemusictaupo9693 awesome, thank you so much!! Kind of new to this, appreciate the videos & insight, cheers!

Is the key action of this B2 lighter, similar or heavier than, say, a Yamaha or a Roland?
I have a Roland and the action is lighter than on Yamaha digital pianos. In fact, as far as I'm aware, the action of the Yamahas is the heaviest on the market.
I’ve found Korg to be a similar touch to Roland. Yamaha to me feels firmer. The heaviest I’ve found on the market is the Nu-X NPK-10

Thank you! 👍🏻
How did you recorde it?
I know you posted 4 months ago but I'm still going to answer.
I don't know how he recorded it, but I do now it's possible to connect it to a computer via USB and record it!
Did you get a piano?
Via headphone out
Honestly - sound is below a mid level...but what about a key quality?
Hi. Thank you for your opinion. I'd strongly recommend trying any instrument you are looking to but to assess how you feel about the key quality. Things like 'sound' and 'key quality' are very personal opinions. What you like may be quite different from what someone else likes.
The price its very expansive 😟😟😟
I’m not sure what country you’re messaging from. In New Zealand it’s the best priced digital piano in our market.

Hey! Does this keyboard has the transpose function?
Hi. Yes it does. It's one of the 'advanced' functions that is available using the piano keys, along with the function buttons
The harpsichord sound is really bad
yeah but also who cares about the harpsichord
@@kidflersh7807 I do... I love harpsichords but it's not a deal breaker.
