Fender acoustic guitar restring ASMR - sped up, no commentary
I’ve been playing around with the idea of making ‘restring’ videos for a while. I’d thought about having some backing music but some of those noises were just so satisfying. Sort of a fun ASMR type of thing.
Let us know if you want to see more of these. And yes I did clean the rest of the guitar

    Is the key action of this B2 lighter, similar or heavier than, say, a Yamaha or a Roland? I have a Roland and the action is lighter than on Yamaha digital pianos. In fact, as far as I'm aware, the action of the Yamahas is the heaviest on the market.

    Interesting! I’ve been pretty lucky to play/own/borrow quite a wide range of the modern fenders. The player series is insane bang for buck. Agree with you comment around trying first, as getting the neck type right for the individual is important. The Custom Vibe Squires I’ve found to be insanely good for making modifications to. The necks (I’ve found) are great and the easy upgrades are definitely the pickups, but right out of the box they are solid, solid instruments and can be put to work right away. Great time to be a guitarist!

    At 2:34 Is it just the direct-to-interface sound without any mic or processing? Because the guitar sounds incredibly natural plugged-in (compared to other guitars in its range, which come with pretty bad-sounding piezos).

    • @lovemusictaupo9693
      @lovemusictaupo9693 2 роки тому

      No it’s all natural. The preamps Fishman developed with Fender for this range are a huge reason why they’ve become so popular. There is a little bit of technique there with me taking the pick over the strings that gives that super 12-stringy sound if that makes sense

    Finally, a decent video on this particular guitar. I have one and it doesn't sound anything like the Fender promo of the mahogany top. I switched out my nut to Bone and also made a Bone saddle for it as well. It's the first time I crafted anything from bone, and the saddle you have to grind skinny. By hand. I also got some ebony wood bridge pins. It sounds so much better. Just need a new pair of strings now. All together though, I love this guitar and it's just beautiful imo. I play it everyday and it helps when on the run as a traveler. The gig bag sucks though, I got the FAS405 gig bag which was an extra 40$. Much much more padded. Happy man

    • @lovemusictaupo9693
      @lovemusictaupo9693 2 роки тому

      Hi Georgia, I’ve seen a couple of people run into issues with that because it’s different from most other digital pianos. On the bottom of the B2 about half way along is a socket to take that plug. It will only go in one way. From memory there is a place to put a standard style sustain pedal on the back of the B2, which is a different pedal than the one that comes with it. Hopefully that helps!

    I am plannnig to buy this model & need your advice. Is the German grand piano voice on this model sampled from Steinways Piano ? How is the hammer action of this piano ? How is this model compared to Korg LP380U

    • @lovemusictaupo9693
      @lovemusictaupo9693 2 роки тому

      Hi, sorry for missing this one. I'm unsure. They just mention it's modelled on a German piano, so it could be Bechstein also - or potentially a mix of the two. The hammer action is great for it's price, but the LP380 has the Japanese action in it (from memory!) which I personally prefer. In my country it's roughly 60-70% more though so you would expect it to be a bit better!

    • @happylearning192
      @happylearning192 2 роки тому

      @@lovemusictaupo9693 True, there are many variants of German pianos. No brand exactly mentions the name of actual Piano brand from which they have sampled the voice. I'm stuck making a choice between Nux WK400 & Korg LP380U. I observed that the piano voice on Nux is more realistic compared to other well established piano brands (They have confirmed using Steinway Grand Piano for sampling) & cost is also less. Only doubt i have is regarding the durability of Nux Pianos as it is relatively a new brand. Which one should I go for ?

    • @lovemusictaupo9693
      @lovemusictaupo9693 2 роки тому

      @@happylearning192 I would strongly recommend trying both of them if you can. They have quite a different feel and sound. In our store the Nu-X NPK10 has become our best selling digital piano because they're incredible value for money. But if people can afford things like the Korg LP380 they'll usually go for it.
