Hey this is such a good review. I've been thinking about buying this because you mentioned the MIDI direct input into the computer without any audio interface. Just quick question, does the USB come in with the package or is it a separate purchase?
Splitting and layering features not required on gigs because of audio over USB? Many of us are very reluctant to take computers to our gigs. There's not even a separate line-out on the B2. You have to use the headphone socket, so that probably cancels your onboard speakers and makes it hard to find compatible cables which are long enough. The sound and action are pretty good, but I prefer the Alesis Prestige which I have tested alongside the B2. If you're stage oriented, like me, you might prefer the Korg D1. It has a better action a simple screen, a strong build and controls close to hand. Line outputs of course. It still has no keyboard split, and has no speakers, but it does have legacy MIDI connectors, which are better for gigs than USB is.

hello. I would like to ask you if the Liano grand piano sound contains loop sampling to produce a prolonged sustain. I would also like to ask about the semi-heavy keyboard. is it the same as the chrome ex model? thank you
I want to learn piano, but I also want a digital piano to use with my AKAI Pro MPCX. Would the Korg B2 we a good piano for both of these? Or should I save a bit longer for something with more connectivity (Midi in/out)?
I'm torn between the Korg B2 (the non stand variant) and the Roland FP-10. My 8 year old son has been learing for 3 years intermittently (because ... COVID) and is being taught on an acoustic piano, but we need sth for house practice too. Now the Korg B2 looks wonderful, I like the looks of it and what I see on reviews feature-wise, but also the action of the Roland FP-10 is praised so much. I'm happy with the output options of the Korg, and bluetooth lack isn't really a deal breaker for me. What do you think I should get that would be enough for years of piano lessons to come? (As a side note, he has been practicing on a borrowed Yamaha PSR-A300 with no "action", so I really want to get him sth that will also help him build strength via key resistance, and be as close as possible to the acoustic one - can't really go the extra mile for one right now)
idk if you already solved this, Ive been debating between the two and watching tons of reviews. If thats your price range from everything ive seen everyone agrees the FP10 is the most similar in key feel to an acoustic piano. If youre willing to go higher in price there might be better options, and do look at other reviews as well. Just from what ive seen FP10 is most recommended if you plan on going on to play an acoustic one. Tho if your son has already had experience on an acoustic one, you could take him to a store and have him be your best test of how close the FP10 feels to the real one.
Is the key action of this B2 lighter, similar or heavier than, say, a Yamaha or a Roland? I have a Roland and the action is lighter than on Yamaha digital pianos. In fact, as far as I'm aware, the action of the Yamahas is the heaviest on the market.
great review. has the poliphony been a hindrance in your testing of this piano? personally between the B2 and the Privia 160, but the more I learn about each piano in that price range(including the P45 and FP-10), the more analysis paralysis i get.
Kinda Off topic but what’s ur opinion on white pianos? Will the white hold that color overtime? Im thinking of getting the korg B2 white version but idk if it will still look good in a few years
I’m planning to use digital piano, more like 88 keys MIDI controller with some additional knobs and faders like Monogram. What is the space over speakers? Is it possible to set there a laptop and some controllers? Thank you.

No worries, I've found the piece you play there! Its Debussy, Clair de Lune! Wow, two days of search and in the end I found it by accident while listening to your coleague youtuber and pianist Rousseau.
Hi, have had two 61 key unweighted Casio boards, along with an old 61 key unweighted Yamaha. The 88 key weighted boards are tempting, but seem to have much more potential for problems (more moving parts) and some comments or reviews suggest this is true. So I’m thinking maybe an unweighted 88 key board might be less likely to have issues with keys (dead keys, noisy keys, etc). The Korg B2N seems like a good candidate, however so far I haven’t seen any demos or reviews of it (the B2N being the B2 but without hammer action). Is the B2N the unicorn it would appear to be? Too bad.
Good question. I haven’t seen a lot of issues with weighted boards. The reliability on these kind of models is really good these days so I wouldn’t be too worried. I would be buying based on which I liked the feeling of more
@@KeyboardTalks Thank you, it just seems like the keys either arrive clunky or get that way after some use. Many comments on Amazon suggest this regarding just about any hammer action weighted 88 key board from the major manufacturers. I'm am braving the Roland FP-10 which is not immune, only because Costco is selling it and they have such a great return plan. Thank you again!

hello. I would like to ask you if the Liano grand piano sound contains loop sampling to produce a prolonged sustain. I would also like to ask about the semi-heavy keyboard. is it the same as the chrome ex model? thank you
Have you heard of the NUX WK 310, really want to know your opinion on this if you had your hands on it.
Hello bro please help me choose btw fp10 vs px160 vs korg b2
Korg b2
I want to learn piano, but I also want a digital piano to use with my AKAI Pro MPCX. Would the Korg B2 we a good piano for both of these? Or should I save a bit longer for something with more connectivity (Midi in/out)?
Hi! What is better Korg b2 or Casio px1100 or Yamaha p145...?
Korg b2 vs roland fp10?
Please help with the transpose button
great review. has the poliphony been a hindrance in your testing of this piano? personally between the B2 and the Privia 160, but the more I learn about each piano in that price range(including the P45 and FP-10), the more analysis paralysis i get.
This has 120 polyphony which should not be a hindrance. The P45 only has 64 which is a bit low for 2020.
I'd love to know what ur playing on the first piano - German piano
Kinda Off topic but what’s ur opinion on white pianos? Will the white hold that color overtime? Im thinking of getting the korg B2 white version but idk if it will still look good in a few years
I think it would be cool if it kind of yellowed over time ...
this gonna work with fl studio?
I’m planning to use digital piano, more like 88 keys MIDI controller with some additional knobs and faders like Monogram. What is the space over speakers? Is it possible to set there a laptop and some controllers? Thank you.
Great review, it helped me a lot. Now I've been non stop trying to find out what song is that at 1:45 and I keep going around looking in Moby's discography but I just can't find it. Would you be a hero and let me know what it is??? Get me out of this accute case of musical OCD!!!
No worries, I've found the piece you play there! Its Debussy, Clair de Lune! Wow, two days of search and in the end I found it by accident while listening to your coleague youtuber and pianist Rousseau.
Great review mate, thank you!
@@KeyboardTalks Thank you! I have gone with Rolands FP-10 for now at Costco online, because of their great return policy.
Some of my keys take a while to rise again after being pressed. Help me please
Hi, i am looking for the best key action between: Yamaha P515, Roland FP90 and Kawai ES8, and why?...
The MIDI function is compatible only with MAC or also with Windows?
Is KC's rock shop still around?
How does this compare with say the Kawai ES110 or Yamaha P125?
Nice review, I am looking to get into playing again, haven't taken lessons since I was a kid. Anyway, your video has me looking at the Korg B2 now....but How does it compare to the FP10? Similar price....just wondering which one has the edge for a beginner like myself? Thanks!
I am also confused between Roland fp10 and Korg b2.....but after seeing many complaints that Roland FP 10 keys start making noise after some time.... I might go for B2
@@GameGlitch1012Korg B2 keys also make a little different noises after 1 day of playing and the speakers make a white noise sound, it's "hissing".
@@ursulam.7044 oh…anyway I bought the Yahama p125
Can you overcome polyphony if u connect it to pc and vst ?the sound in this scenario gonna come out of my monitors or piano speakers?
How long should it take for the on button to work? When I turn it off and on, it doesn't turn on immediately.
