Yes, he's a big guy. But the show does a lot of tricks to make him look bigger than he is. He's 6'3" which is tall but not THAT tall.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the officer who started the whole thing is roughly the same size. It's easy to make one guy look bigger on camera. Just ask Tom Cruise :)

Seeing as this was a military base, uniformed personnel are allowed to drink in uniform. And nobody would disrespect a Master Sergeant like that. But this was still fun to watch. 😂
1) Mastersgts are NEVER spoken to like that!
2) CID drinks WHERE THEY WANT, WHEN THEY WANT....they can make that bar OFF LIMITS at will.
3) They had a lot more help than troublemaker thought, see above. No one wants their bar OFF LIMITS, the bar tender/staff would have stepped in, INSTANTLY.

Reacher will be perfect as Batman.
He was considered to audition as Batman before Robert Pattinson set foot into that role. He declined it and said someone else had a better chance at it and did brilliant, though he always wanted to play as Batman.

However, as far as someone portraying as Kain, although he may be retired still, but I vouch for Daniel Day-Lewis. Very well-spoken and a method actor, which would fit in the Shakespearean mannerisms that Kain exudes in any of the LOK series.

I'm sure there's others but Bill definitely could bring that character to life, in more aspects than one. I'm certain they'll make both Michael Bell and Simon Templeman [voice actors of the 2 characters in the series] proud.

If the goal was to put on film the lamest, white dude version of that song, boy howdy, did they succeed.
I have to admit that they missed a great opportunity in the scene where Reacher offers them an out and opens the door saying they can leave if they want. They should have had Swan (apologies if I got the name wrong) walk over like he's going to leave and then quietly, slowly shut the door and smile. That would have made the whole scene for me. And I know it's based on a book, but wouldn't that have been cool??

You’re sort of not wrong. A bar fight isn’t exactly the best team bonding exercise or the best way to establish the “Do not mess with the SI” line. It's still a Jack Reacher thing to do.
