    6:15 I like how they scold Joe because he took the blame, but they both glance to reacher when they're scolding him because they knew he did it.
    Also funny Joe thinks his dad hates him when both parents were proud of the two of them for sticking up for someone who couldn't do it for their self

I laugh when it went to shoot the bow and almost ripped its nipple off . Why are we trying to play God and be something we're not ment to be. Mental health is the biggest issue. This reminds me of when my parents would send me and my brothers to summer camps. Invariably I always got sent with an older or younger brother. Invariably someone would decide they needed to try either me or my brother. Invariably I would be induced to tune someone up. I would then Invariably be introduced to whatever inventive disciplinary procedures the so called counselors could conceive of. I would then Invariably dig down into a well of stubborn intractability and contrive to make it appear to them that their best shots affected me not at all. Developed a reputation but gave not one good damn about anyone's opinion. Still kicking. Still stubborn 60 some odd years later.

      I liked your post and like you I grew up learning to fight in Montreal. Mainly over slights to my twin sister. I carried that into my adulthood. Where i stood up for any person I saw being bullied. Unfortunately I picked up a few assault charges. Even though I never threw the first punch. I was told I caused harm to the other person. My thoughts were he should of had a better chin. It's funny how fighting back in the day was accepted. Nowadays it seems any altercation even vs more than one opponent. One can find himself in trouble if one causes harm to his opponent. I still can't stop from interceding when others are being bullied. I guess I'll never learn.. 💪🏼🙏🏻✨

    I understand Jack Reacher as a kid. That was me in real life. Military father overseas got bullied and hurt a kid. I was very quiet growing up but goofy. I was good at fighting in martial arts won a lot of tournaments but scared to fight in real life. Kid bullied me for a whole year and he reminded me of Johnny in Karate Kid. He was very overdramatic it was funny he kept telling me in math class he was better than me and his Kenpo Karate was superior. I was called names like Bruce Leeroy because I am black or Daniel Larusso from Karate Kid l. I just laughed and asked what did I do to him. He told me nothing he just wants to beat my ass because kids found out I was really good at fighting. My big mouth friend kept telling people. This girl who liked me was in my martial class warned him to leave me alone. I won't go into more details but people who I grew up with know my channel I don't want them say anything. I hurt that kid when he tripped me at lunch. I got tired of him bullying me and others. If you teach your kids just be quiet and walk away unless they have no other choice. If your kid is a bully please also talk to them that it isn't right and can affect a kid until they are adults. Basically leave people alone. I almost got my Dad in trouble. It was self defense and I was under age as a minor. The principal of my school knew I was being bullied plus I told my parents and they asked the kids parents to have him stop bothering me. Nothing changed so I got suspended but nothing else and he got suspended and went to the hospital. If a person is not bothering anyone just leave them alone. It's better to be friends with someone than an enemy. I rather laugh and crack jokes than fight a person. Nothing cool about that. I teach my son the same thing.

    No one should be punished for beating a bully. I honestly don’t care if the bully dies if the person is defending themselves. If you think you can arbitrarily have that much power over another human then you can rot in a ditch

    This looks authentic. This guy as Jack Reacher is great as opposed to the films starring Tom Cruise as Reacher, which was weird having a small guy like Cruise playing Reacher, who Lee Child writes him as 259 pounds's and 6'4"

      Me too! My parents were a failure! Decent, honest, no problems of physical abussement, alchocol or drugs. Thank fuck! But they were passive and acceptive, with no ambitions and no meaning of life. No philosophy or context. They feed my body yes, but no teachings. They were sheep and they made me a sheep child. I was a woose. I had to discover my self how to be a Man and give some meaning in my life and still i am not sure i am making it. Reacher's parents were amazing!
      My mom can't be measured not even at the tip of the little finger with Reacher's mom. She was toxic, selfish and shallow.

    I doubt it but I'd like to think jack's father went on to have a distinguished military career despite the setback, and the brigadier general, as soon as he retired lost basically any influence he might have had since the only reason people put up with him was because of the hard power he wielded. So as soon as he no longer was in a position to have sway over people's careers, no one wanted anything to do with him. But if real life is any indication, i doubt it.

    In the BRITISH Army it would be a chargeable offence to appear in your Number one dress uniform without having a shave. Reacher would not have worn that uniform for 16 - 18 hours, he should have had a wash and shave when he changed out of his utilities.

    • @michaelking1869
      @michaelking1869 2 роки тому

      @C G You're correct for the most part. This is mostly from the short story Second Son except the people who did the series thinks that the over 100 million books Lee Child (James Grant) sold still doesn't qualify him as a writer and the best thing to do is alter the writing to their own liking even though it pretty well ruins the story line. Right from the first few seconds there it ruins the number one part of Reacher. Even Tom Cruise didn't change from the script that under absolutely no circumstances does a Reacher own possessions. The put a bigger guy in place to closer match the character and then ruined everything else that follows the books. The movies were altered a bit simply because following the books exactly for them would have made for a quite long movie. I still didn't like it, but when you're doing a series you have no reason to go outside of the books. Not one.
