Growing my father told me if you get into a fight have your back to the wall. Get the first and last punch in and hit the biggest guy first. Put your hand in your pocket and hold coins in your fist and your like Thor ! Worked out ok for me and had to do it a few times in South London in the old days 👍
@@TheSockWomble- My tip from "friends" was to carry a roll of pennies or other 'in-country' coins. Wrap your fist around the coin roll and it solidifies the fist. If done properly, hurts like two SOBs! Plus, there's nothing illegal about carrying rolled coins. Used it one time when stationed in Frankfurt when some folks got froggy after sucking down suds all evening and chose to mess with people at random.

@@TimothyNeidI don't know. Made me think of the old video where a car honks at an old lady, she hits it with her purse and then the air bags deploy. I'll admit it may not be real but it was funny.
Seriously though, the amount of force required for a feat like that would be incredible
Years (decades ago), Volvo has an 'impact severity reduction system'. It was called Procon 10. Audi invented it, Volvo improved it, it was effective in reducing pedestrian injuries and driver injuries... but it was purely mechanical in the Audi version using cables to pull the steering wheel away from the driver in the event of a frontal impact. The Volvo version introduced some software (and airbags) to better protect pedestrians and driver. The flaw was that if you kicked the front bumper hard enough Procon 10 would fire the airbags. Production was discontinued about 30 years ago. HTH
I've heard that some people didn't enjoy this season as much as the first one, but I've loved the dynamic between the team
I thought Season 2 had higher highs and lower lows compared to Season 1. I wasn't as fond of the fight scenes in Season 2. Felt too over the top and caricature like. But I loved all the new characters in Season 2, all the banter & development. The team dynamic of the 110th was awesome!
Someone posited that in season one, his brother was already dead, therefore, he couldn't prevent his death. However, in season 2, his mates/coworkers are being picked off, which alters his rather cool-headed demeanor to one of hate-filled rage, which is evident in his rather animalistic fighting style. More hate, rage, definitely less forgiving.
It was equally as good... I just wish they had brought back Roscoe.. :)
I blame the lack of Roscoe.

Oh dear god, YES! Absolutely. I'm a big fan of all the Reacher novels and when I learned there were movies coming out, I was sooo excited! Then, sadly, I learned who was playing Reacher. The actor who is the absolute opposite of the Reacher in the novels. I gave it a try and was left, well, shall we say, less than satisfied. Now, THIS is how Reacher is written; a giant of a man, quiet, witty and effective. A man with a brain to complement those muscles. Absolutely perfect.
@@rirkc Yep. Tom Cruse is WAY to short and does not have the mussel tone, or the intimidating stare. Again, who do we talk to to have all the ones with Tom Cruse in them redone with Alan Richson?

I don't know how many times I've watched this but it still gives me the " giggles " .

Alan Ritchson is GREAT for Reacher.
I read some of the Reacher books a long long time ago; and while I like Tom Cruise, there was always that one big problem he couldn't overcome. . . Reacher is a BIG guy; it comes up constantly in the plot of every single story. Cruise is a little bitty guy.

2 weeks before season 2 dropped, Alan Ritchson dropped a post on social media showing that they were in process of shooting season 3.
The cast have all said they will continue making the show as long as it stays faithful to the source material. Lee Childs loves the way the show is going (he is an executive producer) and there are 26 books. Everything is set up for there to be at least 24 more seasons (perhaps more because Lee Child’s is still writing).
Please don't ruin season 3 with the gang ho unbelievable but in the last episode like they did with seasons 1 and 2

I just watched season 2 again a couple of days ago. I had missed a few things the first time around. I like Nealy's cereal preference "pops, puffs, or pebbles in that order."

I'm sure Ritchson is almost a polar opposite from Reacher's minimalist lifestyle with his one tee, one jacket, one pair of pants, one pair of boots, socks, a wallet, and a toothbrush.
The one scene that had me !!LMAO!! was in the motel room with the mother/daughter ("Not too long. We just need to kill a few more people").
