    Hello Everyone, Happy new year!
    Speaking of new year, it's time for a new game. This is a very early project and I've only worked ~10-15 hours on it.
    Would really appreciate any and all kinds of criticism that can help the game become the best ever.

    I think your videos are very useful. It really shows the real road to be an indie dev, with the good & bad

    Glad about the return of the previous character & it'll be interesting to see how the 2.5D visuals work with puzzles & secrets (especially as you will be able to use the environment to obscure treasure chests & such).
    Looking forward to the continuation of the "Legends of Shalnor" series. There was a lot of lore in the second game that seemed like you were fleshing out a connected world.
    As for mechanics, perhaps go back to blacksmith upgrades for character stats (with new armour sets available via shop or something) & instead of hat fashion as secrets have hp heart/mp flask upgrades exclusive to chests, just a suggestion, either way I'm looking forward to it.

    In all honesty, I like Mogren more (because I might be a tad Horde biased lol 😅), but I can't wait to see more about Rynna while you revisit your style formulas to create another charming story. Also of course, I'm open to any marketing tips and devlogs. I'm still so far from publishing mine -- because of RL stuff that is changing my focus constantly because politics sucks -- that I need like a life-line to a current indie game developer working on their stuff to keep my motivation up 🥺Eh, well, looking forward to more of your videos. Let's make this new year 2024 the one with the most complete published material we can muster (and with the most coins entering our pockets instead of going out 🤔).

    I like the combination of low poly art style and pixel art and I think this graphical choice is a step forward in comparison of your previous titles. (Well, with a tilt shift effect you could have the next octopath traveller... :) )
    You could try to add some pixel fishes in the water for more atmosphere.

      I like the fish idea, adds more life to the game similar to butterflies.
      regarding the camera tilt, it sounds like a good idea but not sure in what situations I can use that in my game.

    The artstyle looks fine, though the dark trees have a bit weird thick heavy outline, but there is one thing that looks ugly and not fitting - the entry to the dungeons. Try to iterate on that, I'm sure you'll find some better solution. It might need just some different color (a bit less saturated?). Right now that one part looks "cheap" or "programmer's art" due to the color. Good luck with the project.
