For such an iconic song that didn't have an actual drummer, this is an enigma wrapped up in a riddle.
Back when this was released, and listening to it in the car, it just seemed an off time beat. Fast forward 20 odd years and it sounds like its a triplet pattern.
You seem to be playing triplets yes?
