In this video, I share some of my different styles of art works in progress and we use mixed media supplies to make marks over an already dried watercolour background. I use a variety of watercolour suppies, paint pens, and permanent pens. I love Neo Colour Caran D'ache crayons, both watersoluble (ii's) and wax (i's). I love posca paint pens, for acrylic paint mark making. Check out one of my favourite artists, Wendy Brightbill, and an incredible cyanotype artist and photographer, Milena Vasquez.

Reviewing this segment w/an unfinished piece ...added neo 1 & blended it out with odorless mineral spirits & a tortillion as a frame, & some new posca colors for accents & crayola watercolor pencils for marks... now it feels complete...deep breath...ty.

What a great journey through some of your artwork and hearing about different techniques and supplies you have used! Last weekend I revisited my paintings from when I first started a few months ago and went over marks, added some new marks and played with some new supplies that I have recently purchased. It was great to bring them up a level! And I also painted a horizontal line first layer as I was cleaning my brush so now I actually have some ideas of what to do with it. Clearly your inspiration is rubbing off on me! 😊

sometimes I have an idea where i want the painting to go- but most of the time i just let the painting and each move i make guide the next.:)
