The Cinderace line is the perfect example of keeping a strong theme throughout the entire evolution, and I love them for it.

Yes, watch Overly Sarcastic Productions video on the myth, she points this out as well. The worst part is it cannot possibly be an intentional pun, as the origional myth is Chinese (Well an archaic form of one of the billion or so Chinese languages...), but the situation is quite humorous whene translated to english.

As a Mexican, i think I must clarify something (sorry for using your comment, but I feel this is the best one so far to use) when the Mexicas sacrifyed people, those people where actually rally happy about being sacrifyed, first, because in an era where as a men you are just waiting to have a death, you needed to think into having one of the greatest death out of all of them, and being sacrifyed for the gods was considered the most badass and cool way to be killed, second, in they’r religion they thought you get to go to different worlds depending on how you died, being the best worlds, the one you go when you die in battle, and the one you go when you are sacrifyed, mostly because your soul goes with the gods your blood just gave food, and third, most depiction of sacrifying try to sell you they died In agony and with a lot of pain (I mean, they cut your stomach and then get rip your heart) but they never tell you that they gave mushrooms to those people, so they would be sleep and don’t feel anything.

I personally love Cinderace and it's my favorite Galar starter. While I despise football, I do really like how it was incorporated into its design. Especially with its signature move "Pyro Ball" which is the coolest looking move in Sword and Shield. I actually grew up watching anime like Captain Tsubasa and Inazuma Eleven, so I sometimes imagine Cinderace doing some of the flashy moves from those shows. Plus, I love rabbits and fire Pokemon in general, so it was no contest which starter I would pick for my adventure in Galar.
I also love its Gigantamax form. Cinderace stands proudly with his arms folded on a giant ball of fire that looks like the sun, and then kick it at the opponent.
Inteleon is my favourite Galar starter

Haha this reminds me of how when I was at a convention last year, on the very weekend SwSh was released, I was running about as a Team Skull Grunt carrying my Scorbunny doll as my “partner Pokémon”. I wanted to go in blind so I never saw the starters’ evolutions, yet everybody assumed I had. They were all voicing their opinions on it (mostly negative), and I was like “Stop! No spoilers, I haven’t seen it yet!” There was like only one person I met that day who got excited seeing my Scorbunny and gushing over its evolution, admiring how it looked like a DBZ character to her, and I hated to tell her “no spoilers”, cause I appriciated her enthusiasm. There was also one other person wanting to go in blind like me, so we shared our speculations.
After that weekend, I started playing, and while I didn’t care much for Raboot at all, I thought Cinderace looked much better. I can see the DBZ look that that girl I met at the convention gushed over. ^^
That being said, Incineroar is still my least favorite of the Fire starters’ final evolutions - my apologies to any of you Incineroar fans out there, it’s just not for me
I really liked Cinderace's design! When I got Pokémon Sword, Scorbunny was my starter. But. It was a male. But I shrugged it off! Because in my series, Cinderace is a female. Fit active and strong! She's also caring for the others.

I think Incinaroar to me was the worst, it was made to look like it was fire fighting, it started as a wicked looking cat that walked on all fours then of course it had to become bipedal. At least with Cinderace, Scorbunny was already on two legs.

Fun fact about Cinderace many people think it's based on a striker but it's actually based on a defender to be specific a (Libero) which is a defensive position it is when a defender comes forward to connect the defence to the midfield or to play as a fake defender and join the attack as an attacking midfielder it requires a lot of versatility and that's why Cinderace's ability changes it's type.

This video was the first time I noticed it and now it’s all I’m thinking about. And I’ve seen so many of his videos
I'd love to see a video where you explain certain Evolutions.
For example, Zigzagoon has 3 claws on every paw, but Linoone has only 2.
Or Pikachu, who loses it's thumbs when it evolves into Raichu.
I love Cinderace and I love furbait pokémon. I even have a Cinderace as my main partner pokémon in Pokémon Shield, and I chose Scorbunny when I started that game. So what is so bad about a fire-type rabbit that can kick fireballs? I find that to be really awesome.

I mean flaming skulls is a really cool idea for Cinderace and all but it seems a bit too dark for a game for people of all ages. We've got to remember that Pokemon is for kids too, ya know. I mean a pure fire type starter is pretty unique.

I say 'stretch' because the kicks he does are already explained in football. The kicks that keep the ball near him are just football "juggles". The final kick that launches the ball at the enemy is called a football "volley". The Max form might hint at more though, I just wish it wasn't so weak about it! I wish Cinderace had much more varried lore like many other pokemon you talk about, but sadly I really think it's just a soccer player :(

Cinderace is honestly the first fire starter I didn’t utterly despise since Infernape. After 3 straight generations of terrible designs for final evolutions for fire starters, at least personally in my opinion, Cinderace is a huge breath of fresh air, even if I think it’s a bit plainly designed
I love Cinderace! She's got good typing and good movesets + Libero, making her really versatile. I'm glad I made a video on her. (The reason I'm saying She and Her is cuz my Cinderace in game is female).

I like to think that certain evolutions could only occur through human interaction and are super rare in the wild, Cinderace and Inteleon being two examples.
I honestly don’t get why people hate on Cinderace so much. I think Cinderace is super adorable and I kind of like that fact that it still has it’s childish nature compare to most starters that usually act and look more mature.

That's so cool 😎 I grew up playing Jianzi and the moves Cinderace pulls before volleying it are tricks used in Jianzi and freestyle football. In football terms the move or trick is called "around the world"...kinda makes since with football being the world most popular sport .. the move is also commonly used in the dance performance version of Jianzi... Also, Cinderace could be based off all the world's famous football players since many of them began playing the sport without a proper ball. It is also common for trainers and coaches to train their team to have better ball control through juggling things like rocks, soda cans and tennis balls. Another, sport Cinderace could be based off is freestyle football. This sport is more of a dance competition where players chain tricks together into a routine and when complete they volley the ball to their opponent. With the animation of Cinderace's attack they are doing a freestyle routine before volleying it at the other Pokemon. In these competitions if a player can't keep up with the last players routine they are said to not be able to handle the fire. Freestyle football is very popular in both Europe and Asia.

Spies in most older movies and cartoons are usually very flexible and thin so they can sneak into places and it’s a Jesus Lizard ( which runs on water) not a big bulky reptile like most of the starters are based on.

great video and all but with the shuttlecock part i don’t think it links in the way you say, the way cinderace kicks the ball up and down is him just doing kickie uppies (theirs other ways of saying it to) which is basically just flexing your ball control in football
