But the Born This Way author admits thar some paraphrasing occurred. In addition, it took Alexander (Sascha) Borodulin and Bob Menna 30 years to tell their Gia story. I can't even really say that Alexander (Sasha) Borodulin and Gia really dated. Plus, both men knew Gia liked/preferred/enjoyed women. Sasha said "When he first met her she didn't like men at all....". Bob said "Gia never told me that she was gay but she never hid it either...". They both had drugs and there was Gia.....Gia was used by everyone. I understand book reviews are a matter of opinion but I can't say I learned anything new about Gia after reading BTW except two names of men she supposedly dated or went with Gia. But Gia didn't write about them in her journals nor tell her mom or friends about them but both claim they loved her and that she loved them.. If they loved her so much and she is still unforgettable to this day to them why didn't they asked her to marry them. She was vulnerable not innocent (well maybe a little bit) but very fragile yet tough and sometimes confused about her preference. They knew it.
