    Gia to me is the greatest Model of all time she's also the most beautiful to me idc there is something so striking and exotic about her look I imagine in her day when she walked into a room people would stop and stare people compared Cindy Crawford to her but she's far more beautiful than Cindy in my opinion Cindy was a All American cheerleader type beauty and Gia was just a goddess a total knockout there has never been another like her but really even looking at photos of her in 2023 I'm blown away by her beauty

      I agree with you completely Gia’s the reason why I love that I have brown hair and brown eyes and I’m totally comfortable with being masculine and feminine at the same time. She was completely real she would be feminine on photoshoots but when she was off camera she would be completely masculine. I think girls like Gia who are comfortable with being in touch with their masculine side are the most gorgeous and beautiful in my opinion.

    I was a kid when Gia took the fashion and modeling world by storm and for some reason, I can't remember her from that era. That time of the late seventies was truly the birth of the supermodel, where the public was getting names to go along with the faces, more money and recognition. I recall seeing Cheryl Tiegs, Cristina Ferarre,Kim Alexis, Lauren Hutton but don't remember Gia. I don't know why because she was just the most beautiful and amazingly stunning woman.

    A pity she didn't have a confidant. Maybe if she had had a sister? She did have a slightly older Aunt named Nancy on her mother's side but obviously it wasn't the same.

      She needed some serious psychiatric counseling she never really healed from the sexual abuse she experienced from her neighbor and her dad I suspect this is why she probably became a lesbian she was obviously tortured

    "Leaving Gia without a mother" 1:39, this is not true. Her mother fled her father without Gia because he was violent. But they had shared custody over Gia, and her mother was always present in her life, right up to Gia's last breath.

    • @gia-girl
      @gia-girl 5 місяців тому

      Yup, they probably told her to comeback since Gia was gone. I don't think it was a surprise that they felt she looked like Gia. Gia was already there and they didn't need CC at the moment. If she was 20, that means that in 1981/82 when Gia was still out there CC was 15/16.....so it doesn't sound like a coincidence to me that here comes CC coming back/called back but now she's 20 and according to Cindy, they made it happen for her quickly. I know that it is not Cindy's fault but I don't think the fashion industry was surprised.

    I feel she was also too fragile and delicate, not having perhaps an old soul within” but a beautiful reckless spirited Gem” seemed who she she was …..from all the adjectives spoken and fast living” plus please,respect her age. Before judging the woman for any of her life choices. Things were much different back then in many ways. She lacked. love so deeply It looked as if from both parents. That’s so incredibly pitiful.
    No wonder the road took the twist and turns w drugs drink and many many lovers. But sadly she felt only one loved her.
    This person says today she never did.
    Why?
    Anyway ….poor Gia.
    When all I want. Is you….S……❤
    RIP GIA MARIE CARANGI you are still the brighten part of the crescent moon the star that sparkles the brightest of them. all
    You should’ve been a writer or as you mentioned done film work. But I’ve heard it’s terribly bad for addicts on H to stay clean.
    Today I think more support groups and such things and meds. Even .if she truly wanted off that crap.
    I do believe in the end. she was trying her best to fly sober!
    As Angelina,who must’ve had a terrible ptsd .
    Doing GIA I heard nearly gave heard her a mental breakdown bc of her own addiction issues to substances.
    Which have been pretty wel documented and her MI .( think she’d been private about these things before,but after doing the movie I heard these things came out sad to hear…..)
    Sad thing,extremely. She’s my fave actress,of our times.plus. a. great humanitarian.
    Great mum.
    My hero.
    Nobody go heroin “
    As far as I’m aware Angie is sober at least drugs for certain.❤

    She was soooo high,,,Shame. No one cares what a model does,,no one. They are just out to make money off these beautiful women. Gia was not the first to be a drug addict. And since then she was not the last.

    She wasn't Revolutionary, as in ahead of her time.She actually only worked for a few years. You don't seem to know anything about her other than The film Gia with Angelina Jolie which is the only reason you know who she is.The modeling industry which glamorized her tragic life that was purely based on her looks, helped killed her and disposed of her. She was another tragic model, one of many, that became a heroine drug addict and died an agonizing death. I know so many people that worked in the industry, became drug addicts and died of AIDS. It's All Superficial, commercializing B.S. Don't glamorize what you have NO idea about.

    • @susieq9628
      @susieq9628 Рік тому +4

      What are you even talking about, dude? This isn’t glamorizing anything. She did skyrocket to the top in less time it took any other model to work their way up like that, hence making her a fast rising super model. The movie was based on multiple accounts of her life shared by the people that knew her best. Did you know her? No. Now go away. We all know she was a tragic case of drug addiction and the toxicity of fame and the fashion world. That is covered in the movie. But she was more than just some cliche.
