Don't women have to be very, very careful not to take too much?
And the majority of zinc supplements come in 50mg doses.
I'm a guy and 25mg sometimes feels like too much for me.
I only recommend 15 mg if used long term which is very safe with few exceptions like if one is on dialysis for kidney failure, in which case a doctor is carefully monitoring levels of various molecules. And one can easily find a 15 mg zinc supplement. Hope this helps!
