Terje Cornelius, back then it felt like I was the only person on earth who had heard this record, I hope the bitterness and anger of the song helped you out, made me the man I am today. I have this band to thank for a lot. Made me a stronger person, I doubt the band themselves will ever realise what they did for so many people.
Kristopher Schau, the frontman and songwriter, is an A-list celebrity in Norway, with books, tv- and radio shows, and numerous bands on his record. While he started out mostly as a comedian and jackass-like stunt act back in the 90s, we slowly got to see more and more of his "serious" side over the years. I've always been a fan, and I still have the shirt he tossed into the crowd at a concert in Trondheim back in 2011.
Terje Cornelius I’m fully aware :) thanks for the write up man, I first saw the band on SCUZZ, late night sometime in 2008/9 and it was I drink alone, at the time i had no idea of any of it, didn’t even really like the song at first then a few days later I found myself humming it and here we are 11 years later, loved a lot of kristophers works over the years, mainly the music but I’ve seen bits and bats from TV too, the language barrier always holding me back. I think I had the live album from Trondheim years back, I think anyway, might be wrong. I’m guessing you know all about the dogs and all the other bands too then mate?
3:35 so epic .)
