I had a bunch of small ramshorn snails, two big mystery snails, and two medium sized nerite snails in a 30 gallon tank. THEN I got a small group of zebra loaches (Botia striata), they immediately became predatory on the snails, and within a few days the ramshorn snails were all eaten and gone, and the two big mystery snails were closed up to escape from the loaches. I removed them to a different tank. But the nerite snails are still motoring around eating algae etc. because they can move and feed with their entire body protected by the shell, and don't have any feelers or other meat sticking out.
Hello i have a question please I wanna give a old earth vibe with a horror to it i have a 11 gallon tank 3 fishes (2 zebra fish and 1 guppy) and many ramshorns snails i wanna add an horror to it,can you please recommend me some animals
I’d probably try out Khuli Loaches. They are relatively shrimp safe (they make take a few juveniles every now and then) and if you can collect up some snails, break their shells then drop them in they should 100% eat them. Even pea puffers might work alright as snail control in a shrimp tank especially if you have larger sized shrimp. Hopefully this helps :)
I’d say your best bet would be either pea puffers or khuli loaches. Both species will eat baby snails and if you collect some larger snails and crush them they will eat those too. Hope this helps 🙏☺️

Kuhli loaches also eat snails (sometimes). Mine has been devouring all the baby bladder snails
That’s awesome 😎

Cool vid. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Pea puffers did it for me after I noticed some small bladder snails in my tank.
Definitely great snail eaters!
7:10 that looks like an albino millennium rainbow cool species (not for eating snails as far as I’m aware but nonetheless)

Is there a micro fish about guppy size that will eat the baby snails or snail eggs?

Will pea puffers eat my shrimps 🙏✌️🇨🇦
My pea puffers never ate any shrimp when I housed them together. However, they may go after smaller shrimp every now and then.
I hope this helps 🙏

Which fish is great snail eater but will not harm Shrimps

Will chili rasboras eat baby snails?
@@MyHomeExperimentsnah at least not mine. To be fair though, all snails I kill and leave in the tank all the fishes go for the easy protein.
Too many supers....
🤣🤣🤣
