This is exactly what people need as beginners how to navigate the control screen how to power up and ready the control how to enter into warm up cycle. This would be very good for all the machines you have. How clear errors would be good. How to search on a floppy or a stick drive for the program needed. How to adjust offsets on a variety of machines. What to expect if a - or + diameter offset change is made. Also a variety of part zero set methods on a variety of machines. Thanks guys.
Getting a call tommorrow if I got the new job to run Doosan with Fanuc
Already slowly learning the machine with these precious videos :P
Exactly. Would be great if they had a video on doing a full setup on the doosan mill including using the control.
Second this Motion🎉
I don't even have a cnc mill but i watch these vids in their entirety.
Tison is the Bob Ross of cnc instructions, so good if you want to calmly fall asleep as well.
Excellent video.
I am a 73 year old retired mold maker, and I go back to the age of shapers and manual mills. This stuff is so far beyond anything I could have done back in the day. Must be a fairly large problem finding young people able to master these systems.
the biggest problem ive found is that there is almost no workplaces that hires without experience and very few places to offer education
@williamvesterberg1107 this is the number 1 issue most shops want button pressers and let the old guys set them up until people retire and it all falls apart
I like how you present this Tyson
You stay true to yourself and be yourself in these videos
I notice that some people try to act cool like you dad but that doesn't work since it is not authentic
You are authentic, keep presenting these video's like this, I like it
Don't know why this popped in my head but, it takes a starship to make a starship. These things are amazing! Great Video!
I came from Brandon Herrera's channel. Solid work!
Here for the ak guy. Nice work on the ak50!👏
I had to come sub and ring the bell after watching Brandon's latest video. You guys did an awesome job on the AK 50 parts.
Thanks Brother
Very useful for a new CNC operators and programmer's thanks and appreciate your work 👍👍
Nice explanation of all the major functions. Invaluable resource for learning!
Tyson, as always, excellent explanation! thumbs up 👍
New to the channel from Brandon Herrera’s channel. I would like to see yo do some machining of reactive metals like zirconium please
It's so beautiful to see beasts like this working, here in Brazil most of the companies don't have resources to use this kind of machine.
Wow this is my first time I know that the 9 axis machine could run 2 programs at the same time thank you man I love and learn alot from this video
I prefer SIEMENS 840D SL ... is more easy to handle . CTX gamma 2000 TC (1chanel 5axis) Thanks for your video.
Nice job on those ak-50 parts. Indeed the Titans of CNC Machining. I think Brandon will be a regular customer.
Thank you
Just seeing this machine run looks very intimidating.... but after watching and llistening to all the video I feel less intimated and wanting to know more of the programming/operating of this machine.
Some people talk fast, pressing buttons left and right, and don't give people the opportunity to see/listen/feel what's going on. Annoying actually.
Enjoyed the video thank u for the in-depth, knowledgeable, step-by-step, and calm (true story..lol) explanation of machine function and capabilities. 👍👍
Liked and subscribed many years ago. Love this stuff.
Great video been using an 8 axis nakamura tome for a few years and that has same fanuc control with two screens can hold 48 tools in upper turret front facing, rear facing and axle tools and 48 in lower front and rear facing or axle
Love this channel .....TITAN is the best.
Great video Tysonian!
Excellent Explanation Tyson , Thank You
Indeed it was, He is a brilliant machinist
Thank you for sharing your knowledge sir 🤝
Them : I have never used a Doosan Machine..
Tyson : Hold my Coconut water...
Very interesting, thanks
I used to program and setup a beast like this on a Okuma and it was a money maker.
How do you change rotation workplane?
Can you show us how to use tool load monitor?
I'm using Smx 3100s its almost the same machine
It will be very helpful for me
Thanks 🙏
could you please post a video for setting up tool offsets step by step? for this Machine.
I can't wait for the " The Secrets to 4th Dimensional lathe grindmilling."
I am impressed
We need some more advanced laithe workholding lessons!
As usual, solid hardware but runs on dos cryptid edition.
Is it that hard to construct a console that would be capable of rendering virtual test runs?
Nice video.
Subscribed with pleasure.
And waitung for more🌹
I'm in training right now to become a CNC-operator and I've been standing in a 1997 Nicolas Correa mill with Haidenhain for the most part. That system seems more modern than that and easier to program as well. But it's also just a 3-axis mill.
Could Haidenhain be used on one of those machines?
No Heidenhain on this machine, only Doosan's (DN) own Cufos control, Fanuc 31i or Siemens 840D.
Btw. DN Solution (Doosan) can provide Heidenhain controllers on other machines like the DVF5000.
Great tutorial! It pains me to see the cast iron in the machine....I see the "cast iron crust" hanging around the Y axis wipers. I'll bet it takes a while to set a complicated program up. Thank you.
Whats the music running in the background ?
So coool!
You guys make me wanna pick up machining again
DO IT!! ITS TIME TO GOOOOOOO
I run a burn table thats CNC but not machining. Quit that after getting thrown on manual machines right after cnc school. I wasnt trained to run the manuals.
split screen like proper games was back in days
when you said this is how to your smx 3100 it was like twisting a knife in my belly because i dont get no smx 3100
Smx powerrr
So this machine can run 2 different programs at the same time?? Like 2 different parts
Technically you could do one part on the main spindle and a different part on the sub spindle. That's not really how the machine is intended to be run. There is one program for the upper milling spindle and one program for the lower turret. They work together to make the part complete in one operation off the machine.
Great video once again. I’m very happy you pronounce the word “button” vs “buddun” or “buh un.” The latter drive me crazy! 👍🏼👍🏼
Please do one for robodrill
I wonder if a 9 Axis would be able to machine a clone of my feet and heels or if such a machine must still be found.. ;)
Anyway I like your kind of cut'ing the content to catch the viewer and the sounds of the heavy cut's to clean the surfaces..
No beta here 💀
What a crossover that would be 💀 😂
Hey, good to learn new things
But You missed 'REPEAT' button to Explain ..
I enjoyed this video. Tyson talking then machining then Tyson talking then machining.. But what are the 5 secrets? He is teaching the basics, not secrets. The title is a little misleading or on the line of being click bait.
I didnt even know reality had 9 axies. That is nuts!
It especially drives you nuts when you have to customize a post processor for such a machine 😂
sir sport our troops greetings from india sir
Unreal beautiful
Does he have a local dialect I’m unaware of? Example enunciating T in “buTTon” genuinely curious
Qual nome da musica de fundo?
2 separate programs here is like having 2 separate steering wheels in your $ 10 million sports car. Very special design, nobody understands this for the first time, after the cars with only one steering wheel.
Brandon Herrera sent me here. Cool stuff
Awesome… Thanks Big Sexy🙏🤙😁🔥
1 step at a time
Do u guys make stuff for people 🤔 I'm a beginner budget Rc model builder and I would like some help building a multi stage linear actuator for a project or can anyone who's skilled with lathe work be able to help me I've been looking for 2 years and been taken advantage of paying and not receiving the screw actuator I'm my girlfriends full time carer and money can be tight at times I don't mind paying a small fee but had quotes for 300 to 5k for a few threaded tubes
5 decimal places...very impressive machine
So 0.00001" = 0.0002(54) mm, that's 0.2 micron (mm) , .. sorry but the best of the best grinders will not hit these numbers. 😁
I would love to just see one of these beast machines in real life , nevermind ever working on one 😂
They are monsters. I worked on one for awhile. It was big enough that I could lay down on the chip conveyor between the spindles. I'm just about 6 foot tall.
@@brandons9138 Yeah, it's great ! You can just step in it for measurements, helped me several times already 😂
why do all cnc machines have such godawful control screens? They are always a mess of poor fonts and lousy layout. Definitely need to hire some help in the GUI department.
First secret: start using metric
The trick is to figure out how to do it with 3 axes
Secrets🤣🤣 do you run production on this machine? or is it only for education? since there is only 44 hours on the clock.
Hi titan of cnc am yasin from uganda can u donate to any cnc machine
this is a predicament not a CNC. why two programs? CNC should make life easier this is a nightmare
I assume that this machine has two paths (or channels). This allows you to carry out multiple operations independently at the same time, reducing the cycle time. It is used also for machines with built in workpiece load/unload automation. It can be tricky to program but gives you a lot of potential.
@@filippomontevecchi8618
Yah, the programing is the only isue. If I can program it on fusion 360 on one go, then its fine but creating tow programs for a single part worrying about counter spindle handshake, timing, and collision is a bit much.
@@desalegnsimon6671 of course it is not a straightforward task and a Cam software makes life much easier. However I would not trust 100% the output of a postprocessor for a machine like this. Therefore, in my opinion, you still would need to understand how programming in multipath systems works.
@@desalegnsimon6671With a good CAM software it can be pretty easy. I work with ESPRIT CAM which do have its problems but you pretty much can just program it like it's one program. The timings, how each program looks for each channel, etc. is done by the CAM software. You can NEVER run such a program blindly nonetheless. I always have my hand on the feedrate regulator during the first time running it. Also an excessive usage of the single block is extremely recommended 😆. Eventually you get used to everything but it sure takes time
Good 👍
