    This is exactly what people need as beginners how to navigate the control screen how to power up and ready the control how to enter into warm up cycle. This would be very good for all the machines you have. How clear errors would be good. How to search on a floppy or a stick drive for the program needed. How to adjust offsets on a variety of machines. What to expect if a - or + diameter offset change is made. Also a variety of part zero set methods on a variety of machines. Thanks guys.

    I am a 73 year old retired mold maker, and I go back to the age of shapers and manual mills. This stuff is so far beyond anything I could have done back in the day. Must be a fairly large problem finding young people able to master these systems.

    Just seeing this machine run looks very intimidating.... but after watching and llistening to all the video I feel less intimated and wanting to know more of the programming/operating of this machine.
    Some people talk fast, pressing buttons left and right, and don't give people the opportunity to see/listen/feel what's going on. Annoying actually.
    Enjoyed the video thank u for the in-depth, knowledgeable, step-by-step, and calm (true story..lol) explanation of machine function and capabilities. 👍👍

    I'm in training right now to become a CNC-operator and I've been standing in a 1997 Nicolas Correa mill with Haidenhain for the most part. That system seems more modern than that and easier to program as well. But it's also just a 3-axis mill.
    Could Haidenhain be used on one of those machines?

    • @ytfan3815
      @ytfan3815 Рік тому

      No Heidenhain on this machine, only Doosan's (DN) own Cufos control, Fanuc 31i or Siemens 840D.
      Btw. DN Solution (Doosan) can provide Heidenhain controllers on other machines like the DVF5000.

    • @brandons9138
      @brandons9138 Рік тому

      Technically you could do one part on the main spindle and a different part on the sub spindle. That's not really how the machine is intended to be run. There is one program for the upper milling spindle and one program for the lower turret. They work together to make the part complete in one operation off the machine.

    • @filippomontevecchi8618
      @filippomontevecchi8618 Рік тому +1

      I assume that this machine has two paths (or channels). This allows you to carry out multiple operations independently at the same time, reducing the cycle time. It is used also for machines with built in workpiece load/unload automation. It can be tricky to program but gives you a lot of potential.

    • @desalegnsimon6671
      @desalegnsimon6671 Рік тому

      @@filippomontevecchi8618
      Yah, the programing is the only isue. If I can program it on fusion 360 on one go, then its fine but creating tow programs for a single part worrying about counter spindle handshake, timing, and collision is a bit much.

    • @filippomontevecchi8618
      @filippomontevecchi8618 Рік тому

      @@desalegnsimon6671 of course it is not a straightforward task and a Cam software makes life much easier. However I would not trust 100% the output of a postprocessor for a machine like this. Therefore, in my opinion, you still would need to understand how programming in multipath systems works.

    • @nico3064
      @nico3064 Місяць тому

      @@desalegnsimon6671With a good CAM software it can be pretty easy. I work with ESPRIT CAM which do have its problems but you pretty much can just program it like it's one program. The timings, how each program looks for each channel, etc. is done by the CAM software. You can NEVER run such a program blindly nonetheless. I always have my hand on the feedrate regulator during the first time running it. Also an excessive usage of the single block is extremely recommended 😆. Eventually you get used to everything but it sure takes time
