the alchohol marker maybe acts like a solvent to help blend those colors. I watched a video recently from someone trying many different house hold products to blend out wax pencils, it was very interesting!

I'm in Canada so it's pretty expensive for me to order, but next time I'm around one I'll definitely grab some thank you!
