    so with your high tech jubilee clip holder, thread the cable tie through itself backwards so it doesn't catch - the pile of clips looks like it lives in a drawer or something so the cable tie doesn't need to bite down hard, just to keep the clips together, and this way it will give enough friction for it not to slide out but you can just open it by hand and not waste a cable tie every time you want one jubilee clip. My old pop would be furious at you snipping that every time haha. Beaut looking build, the black paint came up a treat. Rocker covers are superb and the exhaust covers look nice too, I wasn't sure if I'd like them but on the bike they are great. Few rust spots on the frame etc that would have been nice to sort out while the bike is in pieces, but I'm a patient man and I'll reserve comment for the end of the build. Cant wait to see the final product mate, good stuff

    IMO The rear fender is what sets off the bike. A lot like the duck tail spoilers on old muscle cars, its subtle style with out going over the top. I love the balance of black and chrome as well. Huge fan of both the Night Train and Wide Glide, great direction on this build.

    • @Moonfleet41
      @Moonfleet41  5 років тому +1

      aha Matthew, at last someone who truly 'gets it'... you're right the ducktail fender is unique, but many don't know that these have a 32degree fork rake so being stretched out at the front 4degrees more than any other big twin frame, they can carry the long lines... appreciate your support mate, glad you're enjoying!

    One additional benefit of greasing the gasket is that it makes gasket scraping MUCH easier, assuming you're the next one to access it...and assuming it's the type that likes to cling. There are few jobs worse than scraping gaskets!

      @@Moonfleet41 Thank you that is much appreciated. I have a 1991 Kawasaki ZZR600. Been a long term subscriber but I'd like it if you went back to doing maintenance videos. They've been useful and theres a bit of a gap in the youtube market for decent bike tutorials. Scotty Kilmer, ETCG, Chrisfix etc all good for cars but bikes are limited.
