I bought this 1967 Chevy C10 out of the woods at a yard sale 500 yards from home. I have driven by it a million times and always said if I saw somebody outside I would stop and ask about it. It belonged to the woman who sold it to me after her father who had bought it new passed away. Her brother had driven it for a while in the 90's. Story is it was parked a long time ago, in 1997, in field after he bought something newer. It was towed to the location I bought it from about 7 years ago when her brother sold his property. In this video we get it pulled out of the woods and brought home where we check it out good and see where we stand. Part two will be awesome so make sure you subscribe to see how it turns out!
I love @vice grip garage and @junkyard digs and aspire to be as entertaining as they are with my own projects. I hope at least a few people enjoy my content and get inspired themselves!

luv the truck My dad bought one brand new in yellow with a 283 and a stick shift in stocton california. I want to find a project like that to re do . I think its better then spending 60k for one of these new ones.
60k is a bargain these days on a new one. 🤣 Go getcha one! They are fun and pretty easy to work on. Fair warning, they aren't cheap either. Thanks for watching!

My father had a '67 C-30 step side with a 6cyl. stick, that truck sat so long it left divots in the asphalt, not a Chevy man but that's my favorite body style

Really like that body style C10. Not crazy about the color but it's got great patina. Overall, not a bad looking truck. 👍
Yeah the color is rough no doubt! Lol. It's a terrible repaint so this truck is a good candidate for a resto mod project.

The Ford 300 is tough to beat. The old 250 is a good motor too. A 327 would be better though. 🤣 Thanks for watching!
The old motor be 250 or 292 in those trucks , Automatic 3 speed transmission or Manual 3 speed in tree plus fun truck to fix and I did lots them !

@@MyLegacyGarage Yes do understand my late Cousin John had old 1977 2 door Chevrolet Caprice had 250 6 cylinder motor , Turbo 400 Automatic transmission also 377 Rear end gears we put 292 6 cylinders and Turbo 350 Automatic 3 speed from 1968 Cheverlot C10 pick up from wrecking yard surprise made car run faster & the old 250 6 cylinder motor gave up ghost and transmission too! Yes I work on any motor in 4 to V8 gas or deisel engines to anytime and enjoy too challenge too! Learned lots by elders plus on myself too also been lots fun too! Transmission in 2 to 6 in Automatic Overdrive Transmission and 2 to any speed Manual transmission on Floor or Column or anywhere shifter be Lol! The funniest in Manual transmission shifter was on rare one was Column shifter had shift was old 1970's had normal 3 in tree but in middle foward in dash between was 4speed gear ! But if know Automatic in Overdrive gear on Column of Steering wheel is that were 4 gear was old Ford truck Manual transmission was ! But only thing never like is Creeper gear Manual transmission on Floor shifter lots people get stuck shifter in L low gear lock up plus burn clutch out and pain take out that L creeper gear especially in 1970 vans and pickups! Only way take transmission out or bump with rock the vechile back forth with farm tractor with loader plus 2 bales of heavy duty rounds bales of hay back and forth to ! Plus 2 people in vechile with clutch and brake pedal push to and gear shift stuck to with 4 hands! Plus get ready to say stop to tractor person when out L or Reverse or any gear fast! Yes I done it & this trick works sometimes too and not fun at all! Lots curse words do happen to Lol!

I have a friend that is looking for parts for a 67 Chevy 1ton truck.
Body panels and such are easy to come by. The hard part with that would be the brake drums and such. Hope he finds what he needs. Thanks for watching!

Why you trying to pull it out with flat tire. Not exactly my question.
My question it why you did not pick the front of it up with the bucket, chain it and pull out with front in the air.
The little John Deere can do a lot of things, but lift the front of a truck off the ground ain't one of them. 🤣 It just stands on it's nose. Not that I've tried or anything. Thanks for watching!

On many vehicles rats go in cab, throu d fresh air cab vent , i use wire mesh on old chevy trucks , or delete the vent, and use only in cab air for a/c
