Suggestion: Have the hunters' voice chat recorded and use that audio throughout the video. It owuld be great to hear you talking about how you're not sure if they've spotted you and also hear them talking about how they totally know it's you, lol.

Awesome suggestion, althoigh it would be beter to have the audio going on in the discussion episode, because as it is, the immersion is full, it is more thrilling than many great movies.
This needs more attention! Maybe not play the hunter audio over these main videos as it would be break the suspense, but perhaps a separate video showing their audio? I would watch every one after the main one comes out
Some people probably don't want their voice being on video.
Not advisable if some hunters are throwing slurs and raging cuz some damn fool don't know how to operate a blimp.
Some notes.
1. The helicopter and the blimp do more than just track you. Their view distance in GTA Online does not allow them to see the AI traffic around you, but because of the peer-to-peer system they do see all player vehicles in their line of sight. In other words, it doesn't matter how you try to blend in, if they see any car driving beyond a certain distance they know it's you.
2. On the ground, your main weakness is that you take too many corners, especially right corners. Any hunter worth his salt will know that you know the trick of turning right several times to see if someone's following you, so by trying to determine whether they're following you, you're putting them on your scent. AI traffic just simply doesn't take so many corners.
3. Another thing is the AI's panic state, which is part of how they sniffed you out the second time. When shots are fired or particularly reckless driving is done, the AI will instantly panic and start driving erratically. By driving normally despite the violence they were committing against bystanders, they were able to confirm it was you without getting too close. When even the truck bolted and started switching lanes and running red lights, but you were still trying to drive calmly, they knew they had you in their sights.
4. Don't pick white cars. You said it right at the start: grey is best. White cars will come to stand out a lot over time.
This comment is highly informative and should be bumped higher.
First thing I look for when i try STH is for weird car colours. White, Red and Brown stands out hell of a lot more than people think. He stayed in the white Sultan far too long. That Blimp would have noticed you the first time. Spotted you the second time and notified the yellow car and then that is how the chase started. They were looking for a White Sultan and he didnt try and change cars under the underpasses. He lost the chopper.. who noticed him as soon as he left, at speed, in the white sultan. even a comet or the bugatti rip off would have less of a bullseye on it than that white Sultan
Also I think eventually as he does more sth they will catch on to his strategy.
Another note that can be added is that he drives to slow when he’s trying to drive calm, that’s another give away for the hunters.
When i saw how well he got away (at least for some time) from Heli in downtown i thought of an idea - why not make a bail from speed maneuver? Heli can't do such fast 180 when they follow you, and there's gonna be at least 5 seconds they understand this - The car that just flew out under the bridge is not occupated and you flew out of it when out of their's line of sight. While they guess you catch yourself a new unmarked ride and calmly leave the place.
He should use his horn more, as it will help him blend in. AI always honks at other cars for being within a certain distance.

“I need to Go to the dock” says it 30 more times in 10 minutes. Never goes near the dock.
It's really maddening how much of the stuff he says he ought to do or it'd be smart to do and he _never does._
he said it himself. He can't get there before running into hunters. Nor is he going there while being chased. the only road out can be barricaded and then ira a quick death. Now if no one knows you're there make a break for mirror park. loop North and come back to the city from that suburb.
That rolling sticky bomb toss during the chase was a thing of beauty.

Also, you should be a hunter and let someone else be the one who has to flee. That way, we can get a glimpse of how the hunters operate.
while i love this series please also make some where your a hunter or at least have a hunter record from there perspective maybe? nice to see from both sides
in the live streams he is a passenger in the hunted vehicle. He can not shoot anyone. he can call Lester and act as a look out. We get the hunters each take a turn at surviving the hunt. longest time wins. Christmas stream and July stream. Quite interesting to see what ideas they come up with.
Getting a G Wagon and pretending to be a crazy hunter could be a winning strategy.
The hunters co-ordinate between each other, so they would be able to figure out it's him almost instantly.

The only thing better than survive the hunt is the discussion episodes. I love seeing the map and where everyone was.
If u disable ur weapon into your middle finger and point it out the window the smashed glass remains will disappear

Suggestion: Switch to unarmed, then aim out the window, you'll roll the window down so it won't appear broken to other players, in case you ever steal a car or smash the window

You could just start the gamemode the moment you see "x has put a bounty on you" and then you'll know when you're done because they only last 24 in-game hours.

seems like the "you can challenge another player to an impromptu race" notification is a good way to blindly find you if you're a hunter
The hunters have this pop up more for them since they're are more of them circling the city. Much more of an advantage for the one being hunted to know for sure a hunter is nearby.
impossible to turn off online base game. No longer an issue now that they can play on a 5M server starting in STH 6* soomething.
What about lengthening the videos to 1 hour so we don’t know if you survived or not by looking at the video length?

After having a certain amount of playtime on this game, u tend to remember cars' names. And I like naming them specifically instead of just calling them simple nicks, like if I wanna direct a friend to a black plane at LSIA i can just call it Luxor, since that's the plane's name. Also it's easier for me to say which cars have better stats by calling their names.

I think the rule should be that if you die at all during Survive the hunt you are out of the chase. This would make the hunters think twice about driving/flying recklessly, engaging the police, or stealing vehicles from gang members/police/military etc.
Alex doesn't need more help, and isn't it funny seeing Chris die every now and again.
Also sometimes they do mess around to not get bored so this is too harsh

yes Please 1 chopper 1blimp once they go down they are done. let them decide if they would rather run the whole time in vehicles or take the risk of being the eye in the sky. or keep it down to 1 chopper that can respawn .
What's most likely to happen is that we treat any death as a result of the chase as an elimination, just like getting shot.
There's no point in a limit to aircraft, they can only be used to locate and chase alex, they aren't allowed to shoot at him so it's balanced between the ability to chase against actually being able to kill him.
being able to track him and relay info is the issue, more so the blimps I think than the choppers due their ability to slowly glide above the city and look all the way down roads for anybody hauling backside. but i'll let you have your opinion if I may have mine. good day @@justScottyyy

To me, any player that dies in a chase ought to be done. If ANOTHER PLAYER wants to grab a heli they should be allowed, then there's one fewer persons on the ground.

I generally used to prefer the original StH without the side-activities etc. Alex set himself to do... But exploding Prii is something that, for some inexplicable reason, I just find... Enjoyable. I wonder why
EmperorJuliusCaesar Alex has previously said that the person in control of the map gives out hints every so often when he’s near to one of them, usually the the first letter of said persons gamertag. Also, white cars stand out, and so do fusilades. When you keep seeing a white one with the potential added hint, you’re going to put 2 and 2 together.
They’re 13 episodes in and it’s the same hunters (more or less) every time, so they know what they’re doing.

I think it would be a cool addition if after the 24 hours you had to make your way up to Paleto Bay or Shady Shores and the hunters could start shooting from their vehicles and see if you could make it to some destination as a sort of bonus

Something like it. But needs some limitations otherwise it's just a hoverbike apocalypse like any other snooze fest GTA session. There's A LOT of ground to cover too, might make it too easy

The kamacho is as fast as the super cars. It's very, very fast truck Alex. Kind of cheating. Personal cars could have upgrades so thats not fair in my opinion.

It's fast in a straight line, not so much in corners, and also only visual upgrades are allowed, I'm pretty sure that most of the people in these challenges are chosen by Alex to make sure that they are honorable enough to no cheat

When you’re in chases, and it all goes wrong like the chopper going down, try and get a POV from the chasers to see what happens

Ok I have 2 suggestions # 1 you can go under a bridge and steal a car when the Helicopter is following u #2 you can keep the mini map on and just turn off blips
Mate, absolutely loving this series! I have definitely binge watched these videos. Some suggestions: Agree with some of the other comments that sometimes the video length is a bit of a spoiler... you could pad the end with some random gameplay maybe. Perhaps banning the aircraft... BUT you have to blow up at least five cars (for example) AND last at least 24hrs... this would make this a bit more objective based... so in this episode you would have had to still go for the ones near the docks before claiming victory.
Im a new subscriber, and i found your channel a week ago. I watched one survive the hunt video then I had to watch the whole series lmao. Ive never seen any videos like this great work it is very entertaining
I just discovered it a few months ago, next is the challenge vs. the police/army that will get you addicted and binge watching for hours. Then the races. Then the heists. Then the mods series. Then Forza... it just keeps going forever, he's got so much good content.

Kelyaan I was wondering what was happening, that's all. I wanted to know what was happening from the hunters POV. I personally found it confusing, maybe I'm just dumb idk
Kelyaan not all of it is. There's always times where it seems like one of the hunters but it's a crazy AI or you think the AI is being weird when it's actually a hunter. The later analysis video with the map is always informative.

Or something where everyone else has to blend in, then FailRace has to tag them, and each player tagged joins him as a hunter until everyone gets caught.
That just makes it twice as difficult for the hunters to win with no benefit to the videos entertainment level
but if there was 2 survivors it should make it so the hunters can use faster vehicles and besides 2 survivors could just "hunt" the hunters and it would turn "survive the hunt" to "hunt the hunters"

I hope to see an episode where you have a person on the hunter side as a double agent working for you and you guys are in an on and off voice call.
Also put a catch, if you won't tell him where you are he will only tell you where he is and the hunters who are with/around him.
If you do tell him, he will tell you everything he knows where the other hunters are located.
And lastly, give that person his own choice if he can betray you or not. That's the purpose of the "do tell, won't tell" above bc you wouldn't know if you can really trust your person.

The animations for the player are different from NPC's, and he can just be either accidentaly or non accidentaly be run over, or be shot. Also NPC's never cross the street, so that would limit him to one block of buildings, or being noticed. Just like Fail Race has explained multiple times.
If you flick off out of the window the broken window actually disappears.
He tries to do that sometimes, it just doesn't seem to work. Let us know if you can absolutely confirm it works.
@@Noder it definitely should. Important is to aim out of the driver's window while doing so; idealy the arm moves out of the window. Flicking off to the right won't affect the window in any way.
It only works if your window is intact, and it will still show you have no window, which is peculiar for a civilian

That ending made me think of a neat spin you could put on it: once the 24 hours are up, you have to make it to the bin to win.
one vehicle i would use is the gta version of the ford police taurus because it is a very common gta5 car though out the city
Def agree w/ u on the aircraft idea.....either an amount limit of each type per game (blimp & non-combat helicopter) or a "cool-down" timer that makes them wait 2 or more in-game hrs b4 allowed to get it again.
The unlimited aircraft usage takes a lot of viewing enjoyment out of STH since it becomes another modified race. My favorite STH videos is when u have an in-game challenge (like destroying Pris) & having sudden anxiety inducing hunts when u get spotted doing the challenges. Then having moments of us anxiously watching u follow traffic laws until the next challenge target is discovered. It's more enjoyable having the ups & downs of wondering if you've been spotted or not while completing the challenges. But having a STH be just u trying to lose an aircraft just for it to tell the cars where u are, then aircraft goes down, cars keep chase til another aircraft comes, then cars lose u but aircraft keeps the chase going & on & on it goes. I love ur STH series regardless. But the most attention holding & entertaining ones, for me, are not filled w/ a constant chase. They're the ones that keep u anxiously wondering if you've been spotted then breaks of normalcy.

It will probably be that whoever was flying the aircraft is out but someone else can take one, it would be one less person that could kill Alex so it is balanced.
@@justScottyyy I like the idea of hunter perma-death, but if they have a player on standby & waiting near the aircraft spawn point, then the cycle would continue.
After thinking about it more, a 2 aircraft limit per STH would be fair for Alex & the hunters. They could choose to use the limit all at once by starting w/ a blimp & a non-combat helicopter or only have 1 going until Alex is spotted then using the other. Why so low of an amount? Well Alex is not permitted to use aircraft so the hunters shouldn't get a free-for-all w/ them either. If Alex had some extra ability (that the hunters don't have) like being able to shoot or throw explosives at the hunters while driving, then the hunters having more aircraft usage would balance it all out. Since Alex could remove vehicle chasers but the aircrafts wouldn't be bothered; which would even-out each side's permitted actions (but only permit 2-3 active hunter aircraft at a time, using this scenario).
I've been waiting for a rule change for Alex to be allowed to shoot while driving since it's suicide for him to get out of his vehicles to shoot at the hunters. Everytime he's done it, he's been killed; since there're too many shots coming from multiple locations, it's impossible to kill all the hunters that surround him. Right now, the only thing Alex can do against a horde of hunters chasing him is to lead them in tight spots in the hope that they cause each other to crash. It's hilarious to see it happen when it works, but too often it doesn't. As long as they don't enforce hunter perma-death, then Alex should be allowed to shoot or sticky bomb them while driving.
At least I hope they give these & other ideas a test run to see if it would make it more fun for them & their audience. Because I always seem to realize, early on in a STH video, if Alex is going to win. But I feel like these videos would be more enjoyable if a few things were changed to make the outcome unpredictable.

@@ADHD_and_Crayons I'm going to be honest your suggestions are useless, they only help Alex when he doesn't need anymore help. There's only 14/13 hunters so allowing Alex to easily kill them would make it too easy (and even less enjoyable for the hunters). Alex can take aircraft but he doesn't as everyone would know it's him and it wouldn't make for a good video, and as I've said hunters taking aircraft is completely fair, it's easier to chase alex but they can't actually kill them, especially if it would result in them being out if they crash during a chase.
There seemed to be an awful lot of them right on you really quickly. I don't think they liked your recent win.
I think you should be allowed a couple of uses of ghost org during the game, just in case of shenanigans.

@@ItsLukeOzade Since episode 1 there have been some highly supsicious hunter activity. Cars finding him right away. An orange blista that always seemed to know exactly where he was. We suspect that some players might not being playing fair and looking a the map. Two ghost orgs would give him a chance. And if they aren't looking at the map, then it makes no difference.
@@Atom.Storm. With Scotty filming the map you can actually see whether players are in the pause menu. And in any case it's almost always blind luck that we find him at all.

Little tip, When you smash the drivers window to get in, stick you're middle finger out of it and most times it removes the broken glass. Hope this helps!

This is so terrifyingly awesome!!! What I think what gives you away is that when you’re talking/thinking, you slow down and make odd stops while driving and it’s just 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 but damn. Who knew a blimp could be intimidating?
Im suprised the kamacho is allowed for the hunters to use. Its the fastest offroad vehicle and definetely not slow

I think this is the best "Survive the Hunt" episode. You almost can´t have more tension. The chases are amazing. Very good driving and playing on both sides.

I was flying the Havok, which is actually the 8th fastest chopper when fully upgraded. This one however, was in its stock configuration. Next time, however, I will be eliminated if I die as a result of the chase.
