A slight adaptation to this is where you have to start in the slowest class and can only upgrade to the next class after destroying a pink Pri, and you must upgrade before destroying the next Pri. The hunters will have an idea of what cars to check and you will have more risky car changes to perform.
The hunters get informed of when a Pri is destroyed, so all they need to do is have someone count how many times they've got notified one of their cars has been destroyed. The problem with putting cars into classes, they have enough knowledge from racing them to know what one will be the top of that class, and so the 'variety' will just be the top couple of cars for each class. Here, the Toyota AE86 and the MPV thing, the next class is the BMW 3 series coupe/convertible, Jaguar saloon, the one I think looks like a Vauxhall Insignia and the Chrysler Crossfire looking cars, top tier is the Subaru-Evo, Ford GT, Lambo, Porsche, lookalikes. There still isn't a reason to drive a truck or bus or the old estate, pickups with or without trailers, vans, or any of the other cars unless in a real pinch. I think a hunter 'soft stop' rule would enable more variety in vehicles. Basically hunters and hunted can drive anything they like, (regular traffic or personal garage), but they can't just ram at full speed to stop. Maybe more strict rules surrounding hunters damaging vehicles/replacing them/fixing them would force them to be more cautious in pursuits, a bit like the gun rule, Alex can ram them to put them out of action, out of the chase for xx time, but they can't just dive bomb when Alex is turning at some point. Hunters could also have a rule where they can drive a personal vehicle only if they don't repair it, as soon as they feel it's too broken to drive, they have to pick up vehicles off the street too. Maybe a no repair rule for them completely, so they could pick up a fast car spawning early on, but then be forced to get in something much slower if they wreck it in the wrong area, etc. It opens up more strategies than just 'fastest spawning car of the class'. Some hunters could decide to drive trucks, buses, etc to block roads with, but risk not being able to keep up or get into position ahead of Alex, while others take the fastest cars on the streets but risk Alex driving a heavy vehicle and taking them out. Alex then can decide on what to drive depending on what the hunters take, if they drive past in a lot of supercars, he can take a heavy truck or similar in the hope of immobilising them if he thinks he can't outrun them with what's spawning, etc.
This is one is probably going to be one of the classics. Pure chaos from the moment Alex starts his introduction to the end. New rules for cars were eventually explained 😂

Great episode! I'd like to make a rule suggestion. Overtime: When clock runs out, your mission is to blow the remaining Pris as quickly as possible so no more incognito. This could add incentive to blow as many Pris at the start.

So much better than the last many months STAs. Car chases finally return to the series. It was fun to watch. People want action not sitting in bushes & cowering. The result is videos like this which are fun to watch. Instead of constantly working on rules & structure, all you need to do is make sure there are more chases. Maybe a 15 minute timer where if there hasn't been a chase, you have to bolt top speed for 120 seconds as a penalty regardless of the situation.
Chaos STH is the best type of STH - and this one didn't disappoint. One of the best in months! Nothing predictable and all plans out the window. Love it.
This was an absurd STH. It started off as badly as possible, between the car getting stuck, the screw up at the first pri, and the 20ish minute long chase. And then everything just went smooth. the transition from running for your life to getting three pris without them noticing where you were was pretty entertaining to watch.
That was absolutely planktastic. Particularly the last Prii, you came flying out and never noticed the van right next to you! For the next taskmaster, you need to add in things like "drive a mule" or "drive a yogi" so you are forced into some really crappy vehicles... or even "drive a bus".
Excellent video!! I'm actually a fan of the new car rule, a bit of variety never goes amiss as opposed to driving the same car every video. The chaos it created meant more time was spent watching the video. Always a good thing.

Have to admit poor Alex had the most terrible of starts! Within a minute nearly getting killed by a gang member and it just went down hill from there 😂 But this is why it’s so entertaining! You never know what’s going to happen!!
Wow, from the first movement to the gang area it was just utter chaos. No turned off HUD, a crash with a civilian, a shootout with no real player. Just wow. I like the new criteria for the slower cars so they are encouraged more. Would love to add another one that industrial vehicles get their own category and cause another handicap for the hunters so they might get added as well. I know bus chases aren't that fun, but they wouldn't check them for sure unless they are in a area they aren't supposed to be in.
Even as chaotic and insane as the beginning of this video was, it was also one of the most fun to watch. The nonsense was awesome. I do love all the Hunt videos and this was one of the best. Super entertaining. Thanks for the great work. Keep it up. Cheers!
"That was a good one... well..." It absolutely was a good and entertaining video. I for one quite enjoy the extra tiers for cars because, as you said and demonstrated, it really brings a new level to the strategy.
42:30 That is a special vehicle, its one of the 50 or so that will spawn in game, and you can steal them and put them in your garage. This location has 2 cars, one yellow, and one blue, and they spawn in this area from 11pm to 4am, and if you dont have one, you should steal one, especially the pretty blue one.
The worst start? Heck no, that was the BEST and most epic start ever! Ten years of running into town via that route, you would think everyone knows the traffic there is narrow, but nooo🤣
I really love the idea of the tier system and the incentive to use lower-end cars. Cars that are more incognito, but were previously too slow to consider, are now less of a bad idea.
Been watching for about 4 yeas now. Probably one of the funniest and most interesting ones yet. Interesting rules this time made the chase slow and much more fun to watch. Having mostly the radius and futos made it very interesting. Watching futos spin out and crash often made it so funny. Have not laughed hard since watching Blakey getting flipped off the bike and getting kill
You should do a survive the hunt with Byze and the boys. They make mostly gta racing videos but are a bit less "advertiser friendly" with their language.
OMG! with that start I was almost rooting for the hunters the way you root for the killer in a horror movie when the protagonist keeps going places they shouldnt. LOL!
I vote for a raise for Survive The Hunt's screenwriters. From the Austin Powered truck to the hangry gangstas to the wibbly wobbly Futo this episode was packed with delicious chaos and close calls. Extra points for the costume swaps being very much on point. 😂👍
Not that we got a chance to see much of it in action, but I think adding another tier of vehicles is a good choice. It's a simple way to encourage different and suboptimal choices without feeling like it gets in the way of the fun. Thanks for continuing to search for interesting ways to tweak an already great idea.
Idea: The number of Pris you explode vs the number of Pris the hunters have dictates an advantage to you or the hunters. Example: The Hunters start off with access to a certain maximum tier car they can use (maybe sport? or super?). But for every Pri you explode they lose a tier and must swap their car. And if you explode half of their Pris they lose the Blimp. Normal Super Car rules still apply so that you as the hunted can not gain an insurmountable advantage. (Meaning they can still use whatever tier car you are using, but only up to that tier when they see you driving it) This would make for a nerve wracking first half of the hunt because if you are spotted while they are in high tier cars the hunt may be over rather quickly. But the hunt equalizes the more Pris you explode. Just an idea. Love the content.
That Sentinel at 42:36 isn't a special event vehicle, it's simply one of I think two or three custom variants of the sentinel that'll randomly spawn in the vinewood area at night. Though it's not rare, it's very uncommon to see it and typically you have to be driving a sentinel to make it spawn in.
That blue Sentinel and also a variant in yellow will only spawn in that lane at that intersection for a few hours at night. I still have one of the blue one's in a garage that I picked up from that spot when I first started playing a few years ago. It was a great car for a brand new player 🙂

It might be entertaining to either get someone else, or one of the hunters, to be the huntee, and have failrace join the hunters.
Well the new car rules had the desired effect of chaos, the chases were epic despite lack of air support. Cant wait for DSTH
Among the top 10 or even 5 best Survive the Hunts yet...so intense. So good. So funny.
Would anyone else love an episode where Alex hunts down as many hunters as he can before time is up
2 minutes in game, already complete disaster. Everybody knows it only can be a Failrace episode.
One of the greatest starts to your videos ever!!!
You should do a survive the hunt with Byze and the boys. They make mostly gta racing videos but are a bit less "advertiser friendly" with their language.
Genuinely liked the big change up in rules! Great video!
That bike spawned in the millisecond you shot him lol 12:10
Love your videos! Such a good watch 🎉
That was one of the most exciting ones I have ever seen!! Survive the hunt is Still my favourite TV show!
STH videos - the reason why I'm here. Yes! Please do more than once a month. I'll keep askin if I still want'em.
This was one of the best STH in a long time. Well done. The new rule works very well.
13:12 yep just like in real life
I'm at the 2:35 mark and it's already hilarious.
OMG! with that start I was almost rooting for the hunters the way you root for the killer in a horror movie when the protagonist keeps going places they shouldnt. LOL!
I vote for a raise for Survive The Hunt's screenwriters. From the Austin Powered truck to the hangry gangstas to the wibbly wobbly Futo this episode was packed with delicious chaos and close calls. Extra points for the costume swaps being very much on point. 😂👍
YES... i've been waiting and was not disappointed!!! The beginning was extra special and exciting!!!
Well, that was an hilariously chaotic start…and middle…and end! Great stuff.
I knew it'd be chaos if the Prie was in the middle of the gang area. Good placing from the hunters :D
The only way I keep track of time, love the content.
Chaos from start to end, exactly what I wanted to see! Great episode Alex.
Ahhh love the whole running and skipping routine. Especially going downhill...😂😂😂😂😂😂
23:50 i saw that knuckle crack haha
Not that we got a chance to see much of it in action, but I think adding another tier of vehicles is a good choice. It's a simple way to encourage different and suboptimal choices without feeling like it gets in the way of the fun. Thanks for continuing to search for interesting ways to tweak an already great idea.
"Once we get up here, it's not going to have seen ! 🤣🤣
36:20 wouldn't of believed it if you didn't catch it. XD
@FailRace
This was one was total chaos! Very nice. I can't believe how many time you got shot and DIDN'T die from it. You are very lucky!!
Again a wonderful episode of survive the hunt. Well done Alex and the filming crew. Next time try to sticky bomb a hunter.
The most chaotic beginning and the most glorious end
That Sentinel at 42:36 isn't a special event vehicle, it's simply one of I think two or three custom variants of the sentinel that'll randomly spawn in the vinewood area at night. Though it's not rare, it's very uncommon to see it and typically you have to be driving a sentinel to make it spawn in.
That blue Sentinel and also a variant in yellow will only spawn in that lane at that intersection for a few hours at night. I still have one of the blue one's in a garage that I picked up from that spot when I first started playing a few years ago. It was a great car for a brand new player 🙂
Honestly I found your Channel through the survive the hunt series there are some games that I enjoy you watch play but at all of them I enjoyed to survive the hunt series
