- It's that time again, i must try to survive 24 hours on Gta 5 while a team of players try to hunt me down, only for this one i must not only stay alive but also blow up some sneaky parked pink pri.

Rockstar should make this an official mode as its so entertaining to watch. That hunter wipe out in the first chase was absolutely hilarious.
I think this only works due to the honesty/respect Alexs' subs have for him and the series. If it was an official game mode, normie shit stains would fuck it up in one way or another
@@HalfrsdFilms not if in that gamemode Rockstar would restrict the hunters through programming it as such. It shouldn't be to hard to if hunter_location == inside_vehicle {! guns} and just removing the viewing of maps on the hud or in the pause menu in general.

If you want something similar you should play a custom game mode in Gmod called Prop Hunt
It's basically STH but instead of blending in with traffic you can transform into an object and try to blend in, it's in 2 teams with switching sides. It's way too much fun

28:00 this was definetly a npc gang car, they follow you everywhere around where you go. It doesn't matter if you go offroad or through small ways like the train tracks, they will follow you. They are vicious.
i'm also pretty sure there was gunshots coming from that car, suggesting further that it wasn't a hunter.

Would be interesting the survivors have to complete challenges together or compete against each other
2 survivors would be good if they would compete against each other/ had to do challenges. Otherwise, it will become a clusterfuck.

This variation in Survive the Hunt was definitely my favorite! Keeps things more tense.

yeah i'm not sure which method would result in the best balance of things. indeed the hunt doesn't need shortening but i would worry about the hunters' enjoyment if they could be eliminated out of the blue, without even being part of the action.
Good idea but half an hour is too much, I'd say 15 minutes is better

When he swapped into the grey buffalo it wasn’t a player that found him, it was angry AI. you can tell because they were shooting from I side their car. If you don’t believe me you can go back and see the holes in the attackers front windscreen from the shots.

When you said you were introducing a new rule, I thought 'dude, it works well the way it is. But having to blow up the Prii's really does add to the challenge. A great idea and really does add a lot to the mode.'

That's a really fucking good idea. I was trying to work out some kind of points system where it's like "Ok he survived but hunters won by X" but this is WAY cleverer.

Love the ending. Good teamwork by the hunters and the late vehicular manslaughter made my actually laugh, then the ending 😂... Probably my favorite one so far.

I actually rather dislike the shooting from cars mechanic, kinda ruins chases long chases as you will get shot full of holes if you don't loose them really quick.

@@purpleturtle8841 I too disagree. Just having STH would get stale very quickly. There's much more to this channel than this series and there actual events you can take part in unlike Survive The Hunt where it's his most trusted members only.
It's better if they're not oversaturated. Dopamine hits from seeing this in the notifications would hit me far less hard if they were like weekly. And I was sleeping on his other content for a bit, but there's other entertaining stuff on the channel too.
I'm with the other repliers, I think you would complain. Trust us; I think we know you a little better than you do.
Have the pink cars in predetermined locations and if you destroy all of them you insta win. You can still win by surviving for 24 hours but it also adds an interesting dynamic and forces you to spread around the map

Have every hunter place Priis in the city and the owner of the Prius you blow up has to give up chase.

@@Madanbek_The_Dragon_Lover its a long story. Alex just gates this car in general but it has become a meme within the failrace. Back on forza 4 he was challenged to try and make a lap with 3 range rivers giving chase. But at the first corner the Prius lagged abit and killed 3 Range Rovers at the one time and since then it has become Alex's nemasis. That was a long comment lol

Rockstar should absolutely make this a game mode - 100% implementing your rules. Hunters in their own game chat and the prey completely blanked from the screen. This is beyond entertaining just to watch, I imagine it is a hell of a lot of fun to play!

I love watching everyone mess about in the docks during the intro, each time it feels natural and not scripted, i mean, could you imagine that bunch actually following a script? lol, yeah, no.

24 in game hours is about 48 minutes. Even if he wanted to, i'll take closer to an hour then 30 or less minutes.

@@diggydiggyhole-fan In this case I think it was pretty close to what the time would've been had he made it. But he could always stick the post survive the hunt discussion at the end of the video, masking how much of the video is the actual hunt.
This series is brilliant and even better with little twists being added like kill the pink cars. Absolutely love it! Do any of the hunters ever make videos from their point of view? Would also love to hear the hunters on their comms as they react to your activity. Great work all involved, please keep these coming

Those lanes where you can either go forward or right and there is a traffic light are so dangerous if you are the only one there and it's a red light, when an AI comes behind you and wants to turn right it will think you're blocking the road and will try to overtake you.
Still the best series around! Please keep bringing more out ❤️

I love the new twist! A suggestion is to knock the total down to 5 or so around the city. 10 in the time you have seems difficult at best when you’re moving about a block a minute.

seriously this is not watchable because of him, but because of how incredibly competent the hunters are.

The ending was so cool, It's like from a movie. The main character chases the bad guy in the subway, and when the bad guy is gonna run away at the last moment a secondary character appears in an ambulance and makes the bad guy fall from a bridge and explode

7 years later and I just noticed that the raindrops in GTA 5 all animate in the exact same plane. There's no variation on the Y rotation. Looks weird, if like me you spend your game looking at puddles :P

It would be really cool if you had a guest on survive the hunt in your passenger seat. They could look for hunters and pink cars while you focus on driving, which would help you out. On the other hand, the hunters would know to look for cars with two people, so I think it could balance out!
Liked the video 10 seconds in because I know it's going to be good, survive the hunt videos are the best ones.

He could have waited until he was around a corner to detonate as well.
But that might be against the rules.
@@TheOriginalHairyDave he could have but it has the same effect as what he was doing. the one person who's car was just destroyed knows that he is in the area. two or more at the same time and you don't know which one he is at.
watching a few of these the only rules he has are stated at the beginning of the video. most of the time its no player names or radar in the game with some of the role rules being...
him:
has to survive for 24 in game hours
cant go outside city limits
he gets a 2 minute head start
chasers:
cant use super cars
cant use helicopters with weapons to track him
has to be outside a vehicle in order to shoot him
Is there a time limit or range limit to the sticky bombs?
@@jfogg61- not sure on the time limits but I think there's a maximum of five live bombs. Upper limits on the range is pretty big. I've detonated bombs planted around the Vinewood Hills while I've been down near the airport.

in the simeon mission blow up 2 where you have to steal a yellow banshee from the parking lot and deliver it to his showroom. I have thrown sticky bombs around the car to destroy and took the banshee to his place and then blew up the cars allowing me to easily complete the mission. this is also one of the one of the easiest missions once you get above a certain rank even on hard.
A splodin' Priuses is a welcome addition. FWIW, you can be far away when you blow the sticky. You could even plant them on up to five cars before setting them off, then get Lester to call off the resulting wanted level.
And kudos to the CargoBob pilot.
Been repeating the same "rules" for a few years. Make it a pre-canned portion of the intro...

34:42 Shadow of a blimp is following him to a gas station, but so focused on the prius he doesn't even see the huge shadow following him. Can see it coming down on the bridge when he stops on the next stop light thinking he got away after that one way trip. Would love to see the Blimps view of that whole thing going down.
It is mind blowing to me how he always talks about trying to be inconspicuous and then stops on the road for 10 seconds aiming and eventually throwing the sticky bomb
